Overview

Brokermint connects transaction tracking, commissions, reporting and agent management in a cloud-based back office. Checklists, forms, eSignature and notifications help standardize transaction work, while commission plans can account for splits, fees and sliding scales. That combination makes it a stronger fit for brokerage operations than a tool focused only on signatures or documents. The trade-off is that several capabilities that matter to a growing office, including accounting and API access, are reserved for Professional.

Key features

Transactions and compliance

Centralized transaction tracking, checklists, tasks, deadline automation, forms and eSignature give teams a common workflow for keeping deals moving. Records are automatically documented, saved and available to locate and export for broker review. That is useful for brokerages that need consistent processes and a retrievable compliance trail; firms seeking only an e-signature tool may not need this broader system.

Commissions, accounting and reporting

Commission automation handles plans with splits, fees and sliding scales, reducing the need to calculate each payout manually. Professional adds accounting, agent billing, ledgers, financial tracking and next-day ACH payments, making it the relevant tier for offices that want financial administration alongside transaction work. Reporting includes real-time data, filters, built-in reports and a report builder, which gives managers ways to inspect activity without relying only on fixed summaries.

Agent operations and integrations

Agent profiles, goal setting and team performance tracking support ongoing agent management; Professional adds onboarding and multiple office locations. The integration directory includes QuickBooks, DocuSign, Dropbox, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Sheets and MLS-related tools. API access and CRM integration are Professional features, so teams that need custom connections or a CRM-linked workflow must account for that tier requirement. Support includes help with onboarding, plans, templates and advice.

Mobile access

The mobile app supports pipeline tracking, checklist completion and sending documents for eSignature. That keeps common transaction tasks available away from a desk, though the stated mobile capabilities center on workflow rather than the full accounting and reporting scope.

Pricing

Brokermint uses paid, custom pricing, with no published plan prices to compare against seat counts or transaction volumes. Both named plans therefore require a conversation with the company before a brokerage can assess budget fit.

Standard

Standard includes team management, MLS and QuickBooks integrations, a dashboard, transaction management, checklists and tasks, eSignature and forms, commission automation, reports and the mobile app. It is the sensible starting point for firms focused on deal workflows and commissions. It gives up accounting, agent billing, next-day ACH, agent onboarding, multiple office locations, CRM integration, API access, custom branding and SSO, so it is less suitable when finance or multi-office administration needs to live in the same system.

Professional

Professional includes Standard features plus accounting, agent billing, next-day ACH, onboarding, multiple office locations, CRM integration, API access, custom branding and SSO. It fits brokerages that need financial workflows and broader office controls, or that want API access for custom integration work. Its value depends on needing those additions; a brokerage that only needs Standard workflows should weigh the additional scope against the custom quote.

Platforms

Brokermint supports web, Android and iOS, as well as an API. The mobile app covers pipeline and transaction tasks, while API access is a Professional-plan capability, so platform availability does not mean every plan has the same integration options.

Who it's for

Brokermint is aimed at residential brokerages, from small agencies to established firms, that want transaction coordination, commissions and agent operations connected. Standard is a fit for teams prioritizing transaction workflows; Professional is better aligned with offices that need accounting, agent billing, multiple locations or API and CRM connections. It is a weaker fit for an individual agent seeking only a low-cost transaction or signature tool, particularly because pricing is custom and core financial functions require the higher tier.

Pros and cons

Pros: Transaction checklists, deadline automation, forms, eSignature and centralized tracking put core deal administration together.
Pros: Commission plans accommodate splits, fees and sliding scales, while Professional adds accounting and next-day ACH for financial operations.
Pros: Records can be located and exported for broker review, supporting compliance workflows.
Cons: Custom pricing makes it difficult to compare the plans against a brokerage's budget before requesting a quote.
Cons: API access, CRM integration, agent billing and accounting are limited to Professional, which may force teams needing those functions into the higher tier.

Alternatives

For brokerages comparing transaction-focused tools, start with the Real Estate Transaction Management Software category. Choose DocuSign eSignature instead when the priority is sending, signing and managing agreements through a freemium e-signature product with an API platform.

SkySlope is another paid option with Android, iOS, web and API platforms; its DigiSign Professional plan is $6.25 USD per month billed annually and includes unlimited envelopes and reusable templates. TotalBrokerage may suit a small team looking for seat-based month-to-month pricing: Lite (4 Seats) is $50.00 USD per month and includes four seats and essential tools for small teams.

dotloop is worth considering for an individual agent who can work within its free cap of up to 10 transactions, or wants Premium at $34.99 USD per month for unlimited transactions. Jointly offers a free allowance of seven deals before its Starter plan costs $9.00 USD per month, making it an alternative for a single agent with modest deal volume.

REALM is a paid web and extension option with a $49.00 USD per seat per month EVE X plan that works over existing CRMs, portals and inboxes. Backhouse charges $79.00 USD per month per seat for 500 AI tasks per seat monthly, with additional tasks at $0.12 each and no feature gates. Paperless Pipeline offers a month-to-month $69.00 USD per month plan for up to five new transactions monthly, with unlimited users and storage; it may appeal to teams that value those explicit usage and access terms.

Verdict

Choose Brokermint if you run a residential brokerage that wants transaction workflows, commission administration and agent operations in one system, with Professional available for accounting and API-connected needs. The main reason to look elsewhere is the custom quote and the plan boundary: firms that need accounting or custom integrations cannot get them from Standard, while teams seeking only signatures or a small transaction allowance may find a narrower alternative more proportionate.
