Overview

Coach.me gives users a self-guided route into habit building and a path to paid coaching when they want more support. Unlimited habits, progress tracking, reminders, step-by-step plans, and community participation make the free option useful beyond a short trial. Weekly and monthly trends help users review consistency, while community Q&A and encouragement add accountability. The trade-off is that the social features are not fully private, so this is a better fit for goals users are comfortable discussing publicly.

Key features

Habit tracking and coaching

Custom reminders, habit templates, and progress trends support routine-building without a coach. For more direct help, users can browse coaches by specialty and reviews or use CoachMatch, which considers goals, personality, and preferred coaching style. Habit Coaching adds daily support through private in-app chat. This makes Coach.me more flexible than a tracker alone, but the paid coaching price is per coach, so adding or changing coaches can affect the cost.

Privacy, integrations, and support

A private goal hides its check-ins and notes from the user’s profile, but its Q&A posts remain public. Coach.me has no private-profile setting or app lock. Coach chats are private between user and coach, though anonymized transcripts may be reviewed by staff for coach certification. The company says it removes user data after account deletion and uses reasonable security measures, including encryption, while cautioning that security cannot be guaranteed.

The tracker page lists an iPhone Today widget and Apple Watch check-ins and reminders. Support is available through a searchable knowledge base, and the getting-started guide directs users to feedback@coach.me for help. The integrations are useful for Apple-device users who want reminders and check-ins nearby, but the stated support is not a substitute for stronger privacy controls.

Pricing

Coach.me is freemium. The Habit Tracker / Self-coaching with Community Support plan costs 0.00 USD per free and includes unlimited habits, community Q&A, and props. It suits people who want routine tracking and encouragement without a coach; it gives up direct coaching support.

Habit Coaching costs 87.00 USD per month, billed $87/month, for daily coaching by private chat. Each coach is priced separately, so this is best for someone who values frequent individual support and is comfortable with coach-specific costs. Leadership Coaching costs 150.00 USD per month, billed $150/month, and includes twice-monthly live lessons, a peer lab, and weekly leadership lessons; it is aimed at people seeking structured leadership development rather than habit tracking alone.

Phone consultations are a one-time charge with rates varying by coach and include an in-depth consultation. Custom Individual & Group Coaching has rates set by individual coaches, with pricing shown on each coach’s profile. Both are custom pricing, making them options for people seeking tailored sessions or group work rather than a fixed monthly plan.

Platforms

Coach.me supports web, iOS, and Android. Its listed Today widget and Apple Watch check-ins and reminders add convenience for Apple users, while the web and Android options extend access beyond that ecosystem.

Who it's for

Coach.me fits individuals who want unlimited habit tracking with community encouragement, and people, entrepreneurs, coaches, teams, or leaders seeking coaching formats. It is less suitable for users whose goals or profile activity must remain private, or for teams that need privacy controls before sharing personal progress.

Pros and cons

Pro: The free plan supports unlimited habits, so users can build several routines without hitting a habit-count cap.
Pro: The move from community support to private daily coaching offers a clear step up for users who want more accountability.
Pro: Coach browsing and CoachMatch give users two ways to seek a coach suited to their goals and preferences.
Con: Goal Q&A posts remain public even when a goal is private, limiting suitability for sensitive topics.
Con: There is no private-profile option or app lock, and anonymized chat transcripts may be reviewed by staff.
Con: Paid coaching prices vary by coach or format, and Habit Coaching is a sizable recurring commitment compared with free tracking.

Verdict

Choose Coach.me if you want unlimited free habit tracking with a route to community accountability or personal coaching.
