Overview

Coaching Loft is a management platform for independent coaches, coaching firms and organizations that run coaching programs. It is best suited to practices that need client records, development tracking and scheduling in one place. Its low-cost entry point is compelling, but the two-client Basic cap and limited calendar sync make plan selection important.

Key features

Client work and development

Session management sits alongside coachee dashboards, notes, documents, assessments and goals. That combination can keep coaching administration and progress records together rather than split across separate tools. A library of coaching questions gives practitioners prompts to draw on, while development tracking and coach matching support more structured programs. Manager tools make the platform relevant beyond a solo coach’s client list, though the plan limits still matter for growing practices.

Scheduling and integrations

Appointment scheduling and scheduling pages support booking, while Zoom and Microsoft Teams integrations cover video sessions. Zapier, PayPal, HubSpot, Mailchimp and Leadfeeder broaden the options for connecting coaching work with other services, and an Open API gives teams another integration route. Calendar support varies by membership: Google Calendar works on every level, but Basic excludes Outlook, iCalendar and Office 365. That restriction may be decisive for a coach whose workflow depends on one of those calendars.

Security and support

Coaching Loft says data is encrypted in transit and at rest, with 256-bit encryption on every plan. Its cloud providers hold SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 certifications; those certifications belong to the providers, not Coaching Loft. Users retain ownership of their data, the company says it does not sell it, and enterprise data processing agreements are available. Support includes a 24/7 AI chatbot, human assistance during working hours, email support, and bookable demos or onboarding calls.

Pricing

Coaching Loft has a free plan and a 14-day trial, alongside paid plans. Basic is 1.00 USD per month billed annually and is narrowly sized for a coach handling up to 2 clients or coachees: it includes 50 MB of storage, base functionality, a public coach profile, Google Calendar sync and scheduling pages. It is an inexpensive way to establish a small practice, but the client cap and calendar exclusions limit its usefulness as a long-term operating plan.

Core costs 25.00 USD per month and raises the allowance to 10 clients, 500 MB of storage and 2 scheduling pages. It includes base functionality, a public coach profile and calendar sync, making it a more practical step for a coach with a modest but growing caseload. Premium is 55.00 USD per month for 30 clients, 1 GB of storage and 5 scheduling pages, with the same stated base features. It suits a larger practice that needs more client capacity without unlimited scale.

Master costs 95.00 USD per month and removes the client cap, with 2 GB of storage and unlimited scheduling pages. It is the clearest fit for a busy practice or coaching operation with many active clients, although storage remains capped. Basic is explicitly billed annually; the other listed monthly prices do not state a billing term. Each plan includes base functionality, a public coach profile and calendar sync, but only Basic explicitly names Google Calendar sync.

Platforms

Coaching Loft offers web access, native iOS and Android apps, and an API. Mobile apps make it usable away from a desktop, while the API matters to teams that need a more direct integration path.

Who it's for

Independent coaches can use the lower tiers to organize client work, with Core or Premium offering more room as caseloads expand. Master is better suited to practices needing unlimited client capacity and scheduling pages. Coaching firms and enterprise organizations may value manager tools, coach matching and enterprise data processing agreements. It is a weaker fit for anyone needing more than two clients on the lowest paid tier or Outlook, iCalendar or Office 365 sync while staying on Basic.

Pros and cons

Pros: Session records, development tools and scheduling are combined, reducing the need to separate client administration from progress tracking.
Pros: The plan ladder gives a clear path from 2 to unlimited clients, with scheduling-page allowances increasing alongside client capacity.
Pros: Open API, Zapier and several named business integrations provide options for connecting it to an existing stack.
Cons: Basic's 2-client and 50 MB limits leave little room for a growing practice, and its calendar sync excludes Outlook, iCalendar and Office 365.
Cons: Even Master caps storage at 2 GB, which may constrain teams keeping substantial coaching documentation in the platform.

Alternatives

For a broader shortlist, see Employee Coaching Software. Choose CoachHub if you want a paid coaching platform across web, mobile and API, with pricing handled through a demo request. Speexx Coaching is worth considering for organizations able to meet its typical 50-user minimum and seeking a custom quote based on users, modules and personalization. TRAKCoaching targets internal coaching and manager-to-employee development programs, with custom pricing based on configuration and implementation scope.

AceUp offers paid enterprise coaching programs through a discovery call. Sharpist offers a custom organizational coaching program with a flexible credit model. Together prices custom solutions around learner numbers, match types and program goals, with payment tied to actively matched participants and implementation and support included. Sama offers paid coaching plans including a starter option for small teams with a dedicated 1:1 coach, online platform, coach changes and customer support. Bettercoach is another web-based option.

Verdict

Coaching Loft is a strong choice for independent coaches and coaching teams that want client management, development tracking and scheduling in one service, with mobile apps and integration options. Its unusually low Basic price is best treated as a small-practice entry point, not a spacious plan; teams that need broader calendar support, more clients or substantial storage should budget for a higher tier or compare alternatives.
