Overview

The visual builder combines branches, loops, decision trees, API calls, and human handoff, letting teams shape interactions without programming. Agents can draw on URLs, uploaded documents, or information entered directly. Connections span calendars, CRMs, Shopify, Make, n8n, and 40+ tools, with custom REST connections for other systems. That flexibility suits varied client workflows, though monthly credits still bound how much work an agent can handle.

Real-time dashboards track conversations, response times, and satisfaction. The company states that it is GDPR compliant, offers Frankfurt EU and US data regions, and isolates data per client—relevant considerations for agencies separating client environments.

Key features

Channel coverage: Deployment options include web chat, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Telegram, SMS, and realtime voice. Access depends on plan: Starter has a web widget and Telegram; Pro adds WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Discord, and email. The broad menu is useful for multi-channel teams, but it is not all available at the entry price.
Voice and telephony: Listed realtime models include Gemini Live, Grok AI Live, Ultravox, and ElevenLabs. SIP trunking lets customers use their own numbers and carrier. Voice and phone unlock at Business and above, and Twilio phone numbers and concurrent call lines are plan-limited. Voice AI stack costs are $0.05–0.10 per minute, with Twilio phone-line fees billed separately, so telephony adds both a tier threshold and variable costs.
Usage economics: Chat is estimated at 100–300 messages per dollar depending on model and length. Plan message estimates are approximate, making credits more useful as a capacity guide than a fixed message guarantee.
Agency delivery: White-label plans include custom domain and branding; the agency offer describes unlimited agents and clients. White Label Elite adds SaaS mode and client self-signup, a meaningful step for agencies packaging the platform as their own service.

Pricing

The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free, billed forever, and includes 500 monthly credits (about 182 estimated messages), Tier 4 models, a web widget, and a one-time 500-credit trial. It is a small evaluation allowance, not a durable option for substantial traffic. Starter is 29.00 USD per month, billed monthly, for 5,000 monthly credits (about 1.8k estimated messages), Tier 3+ models, a web widget, and Telegram. It is the lowest-cost paid entry, but lacks the broader channel set and phone features.

Pro is 59.00 USD per month, billed monthly, and raises the allowance to 15,000 credits (about 5.5k estimated messages) with Tier 2+ models, multiple messaging channels, live handoff and ticketing, and lead capture. It fits teams that need richer routing and lead handling, but still does not unlock voice. Business costs 99.00 USD per month, billed monthly, with 25,000 credits (about 9.1k estimated messages), Tier 1 models, voice and campaigns, full API, and an unbranded widget. This is the first suitable tier for phone deployments; concurrent lines and Twilio numbers remain subject to plan limits.

White Label is 199.00 USD per month, billed monthly, and includes 60,000 credits (about 22k estimated messages), Tier 1 models, 20 client sub-accounts, agency tools, and an unbranded widget. It targets agencies managing a portfolio rather than a single deployment. White Label Elite costs 349.00 USD per month, billed monthly, and provides 120,000 credits (about 44k estimated messages), SaaS mode, client self-signup, unlimited seats and clients, and a rebrandable full API. Its higher allowance and self-serve model suit agencies productizing their service. The published plans are monthly; credit allowances and voice limits should be checked against expected demand before committing.

Platforms

ConvoCore is available on web and through an API. That combination supports browser-based configuration and integration into a broader software stack; the API is identified as full on Business and above.

Who it's for

ConvoCore is best suited to agencies and businesses building customer-facing agents around existing calendars, CRMs, commerce, or automation tools. Its examples include healthcare, dental practices, scheduling, and real estate. Agencies get the strongest fit from white-label branding and client sub-accounts; a team needing only a lightweight web chatbot may find the higher tiers and unused channel breadth unnecessary.

Pros and cons

Pro: Visual control over branching, loops, handoff, and API calls supports more than a basic scripted bot without requiring programming.
Pro: Multiple knowledge inputs and 40+ integrations give teams ways to connect agent responses and actions to existing workflows.
Pro: White-label options extend from client sub-accounts to SaaS self-signup and a rebrandable API.
Con: Voice and phone begin only at Business, adding a substantial price step for teams whose core use case is calling.
Con: Credit-based usage and separate Twilio phone-line fees make total operating cost depend on activity, model, and telephony needs.
Con: Starter's channel set is narrow; the broader messaging options require Pro, while API and voice capabilities are tier-gated.

Alternatives

For a broader SMS shortlist, see SMS Chatbot Software. Choose Crisp if a freemium customer-conversation platform with two seats and unlimited conversations on its free plan matters more than AI credits, which that plan does not include. AthenaText is another API and web option, with a free plan that has no AI replies or voice calls and a paid Core plan at 49.00 USD per month.

Clickatell SMS API is worth considering for pay-as-you-go outgoing SMS when destination- and message-type-based pricing is preferable to an agent platform subscription. Gupshup may suit teams focused on messaging fees, with its stated 0.001 USD per message fee and WhatsApp fees billed at actuals. Sarufi is an alternative with a Developer plan described as covering 1,000 messages per month.

Jack The Butler is a free, open-source alternative for teams comfortable with self-hosting and separate hosting or AI API costs. Botsify SMS Chatbot starts at 49.00 USD per month for 2 AI agents and 6,000 messages, while its Agency plan is 199.00 USD per month for 30,000 messages and 5 clients. Sinch Engage offers SMS plans with stated monthly message quotas, including 3,000 SMS and one user on Basics, with plan prices not included here.

Verdict

Choose ConvoCore if you need visual agent workflows, integrations, and a path from multichannel service to a white-label agency offering. Its strongest case is combining workflow control with client-oriented packaging. Look elsewhere if low-cost voice, predictable per-message capacity, or a simple web chatbot is the priority: phone requires Business or above, credits vary with usage, and telephony fees add to the subscription.
