Overview

Corma combines software asset management with identity access management, bringing application access, license usage, and SaaS cost oversight into one platform. It is best suited to teams that need broader visibility across apps, especially where browser-based collection can fill gaps left by standard APIs.

Its breadth is useful, but the plan boundary matters: Freemium and Essential cover visibility and integrations, while several governance automations sit in Pro. The free tier also stops at 10 managed apps.

Key features

Application discovery and access

Automatic app discovery, usage analytics, license reclamation, and renewal tracking address the recurring work of finding software, unused seats, and upcoming renewals. Corma's Extractor Agent uses browser automation to collect roles and activity from SaaS admin pages when standard APIs do not expose them. That is a practical advantage for organizations with apps that are difficult to connect through conventional integrations.

Provisioning can use native API integrations or browser agents, including for applications without API, SSO, or SCIM support. But automated provisioning is a Pro feature, so teams on Essential should not assume that its browser-agent capability includes the complete provisioning workflow. Pro also adds automated access reviews, an employee self-serve store, a communication bot, and 200+ integrations.

Spend controls and governance

Corma centralizes SaaS contracts and offers invoice and contract scanning, expense dashboards, pricing benchmarks, and unused-license discovery. Automated access reviews, approval flows, and audit-ready PDF and CSV reports support governance and audit work. These features make the product relevant to both IT and finance; however, the plan details place automated access reviews in Pro, which may make the more complete governance package a larger commitment than Essential.

Integrations and security

The integrations directory spans apps, HR, finance, identity providers, ITSM, and browser extensions, with examples including Google Workspace, Workday, Xero, and Microsoft Edge. Corma says it is ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified, adheres to GDPR, and encrypts service data in transit and at rest. Its web servers and databases run in EU data centers; AWS provides hosting and compute. On-premise hosting is an Enterprise option on request.

Pricing

Corma offers a free entry point and paid plans, but only the lower paid tier has a published price. The annual engagement term on Essential is important: its monthly rate is not presented as month-to-month pricing.

Plan	Price	What it includes	Best fit
Freemium	0.00 USD per free	Identity-provider connection, browser extension, SSO connection, and 10 apps; up to 10 direct integrations and 10 managed apps.	Small teams checking basic app visibility and access connections. The 10-app ceiling makes it a trial-scale option rather than a broad inventory for a growing software estate.
Essential	3.00 EUR per month, billed on annual engagement	Unlimited admin seats and apps, IdP integration, shadow IT detection, financial data input, and browser agents.	Teams that need a larger app inventory and browser-based visibility without Pro's governance automation. It gives up automated provisioning and access reviews.
Pro	Custom pricing	Automated access reviews, employee self-serve store, automated provisioning, 200+ integrations, communication bot, and unlimited apps.	Teams automating IT governance and access operations.
Enterprise	Custom pricing, starting at 1.000 users	Multi-SSO and multi-tenant support, custom integrations, dedicated account manager, advanced security, and custom SLAs.	Large organizations that need tenant-level options or negotiated service terms; on-premise hosting is available on request as an Enterprise setup option.

The stated entry price and annual commitment make Essential the natural step up when the free app cap becomes restrictive. Pro and Enterprise require a custom quote, so teams should weigh their governance needs and organization size before treating either as a straightforward extension of the entry plan.

Platforms

Corma supports API, extension, self-hosted, web, and Windows. The browser extension and browser agents extend its reach to apps where API coverage is limited; self-hosted deployment is relevant to organizations that need it, while on-premise hosting is described as an Enterprise option on request.

Who it's for

Corma is a strong fit for teams that want application discovery, license and renewal oversight, and access controls in the same system. Finance users gain centralized contract and expense visibility, while IT teams can use browser automation to gather data from apps that do not expose the necessary roles or activity through standard APIs.

It is less compelling for a small organization that only needs a short app list, where the free plan's 10-app limit may be enough, or for teams that require automated access reviews and provisioning but cannot justify custom-priced Pro. Large organizations needing multi-SSO, custom integrations, custom SLAs, or on-premise setup should consider Enterprise.

Pros and cons

Pro: Browser-based collection and agents can cover applications without standard API, SSO, or SCIM support, addressing common visibility and provisioning gaps.
Pro: License reclamation, renewal tracking, usage analytics, contract scanning, and expense dashboards connect access oversight with SaaS cost work.
Pro: Unlimited apps and admin seats on Essential let teams expand beyond Freemium's small inventory cap without moving immediately to custom pricing.
Con: Freemium is capped at 10 direct integrations and 10 managed apps, limiting its usefulness for organizations with a broad SaaS footprint.
Con: Automated access reviews and provisioning are reserved for Pro, and Pro pricing is custom, making the cost of full governance automation harder to assess from the outset.
Con: Essential is billed on an annual engagement, so the €3 monthly rate comes with a longer commitment.

Alternatives

For software buying-price insight rather than a broad access and asset-management platform, Vendr offers a free Chrome extension with pricing insights for 20,000+ software products. Teams seeking a modular enterprise knowledge-management solution can consider USU Knowledge Management. Block 64 is another option for teams comparing device-oriented plans, with a Starter tier at 349.00 USD per month billed annually for up to 500 devices and one collector.

Nudge Security has a paid Growth plan at 5.00 USD per month, billed annually, for 150–1,500 users per user with all features included; it may suit teams comparing a paid, per-user alternative. Zluri is another option for teams considering SaaS management with custom pricing. ManageEngine SaaS Manager Plus offers a free tier for up to two applications after trial, making it worth considering when a very small app limit is acceptable. SpendVera provides a free plan for up to 10 subscriptions with core cost transparency, a narrower starting point for small teams focused on spend. Teisko has a free plan with one admin account, unlimited apps, up to 100 managed users, and up to three access reviews annually, a relevant alternative for teams with modest user and review requirements.

Verdict

Choose Corma if your team needs one platform for SaaS visibility, license and renewal oversight, and application access, particularly when browser-based collection can reach beyond API coverage. Its strongest case is the combination of cost controls and access management; look elsewhere if you need full governance automation at a clearly published price, or if the 10-app free cap and Essential's annual engagement do not fit your commitment or scale.
