Overview

Founded in 2011 and based in Chennai, Cratio targets Indian sales teams across real estate, education, financial services and manufacturing. Its core proposition is a single workflow for managing leads, tracking calls and handling WhatsApp conversations, with automation, reporting and integrations supporting sales operations around that work.

The close connection between phone activity and lead records is a meaningful advantage for teams whose salespeople call from Android phones: incoming, outgoing and missed SIM calls are logged without a VoIP app, and recordings sync to the lead timeline for manager review. Teams that rely on iOS for call tracking should not assume the same capability; the call-tracking feature is Android-specific.

Key features

Lead workflows and follow-up

Lead capture and routing, a Kanban pipeline, custom fields, tags and segmentation give teams several ways to organize incoming prospects. A visual workflow builder applies triggers, conditions and actions to tasks such as assignment, escalation and follow-up. This should suit teams with repeatable handoffs and nurture steps, while the feature set is more than a solo seller is likely to need.

Marketing, email, follow-up and retention automation are included alongside the sales pipeline. The strength is breadth across lead handling; teams evaluating a specialist marketing platform should still assess whether its automation matches their particular campaign needs.

Calls and WhatsApp

Android SIM call logging and recordings linked to lead timelines put phone conversations in context, which helps managers review activity without relying on a separate VoIP calling app. WhatsApp uses the official Business API in a team inbox with templates, campaigns, chatbot and automation. That combination is particularly relevant to sales teams already using calls and WhatsApp to work prospects.

Integrations, reporting and controls

Named integrations include IndiaMART, JustDial, Facebook Lead Ads, Google Ads, 99acres, MagicBricks, Housing.com and TradeIndia. Cratio also lists API access and webhooks, and says Zapier, Make and Pabbly Connect connect it to more than 6,000 apps; n8n is also listed among its integrations. This gives teams several routes to connect lead sources and other tools, though the named Indian listing portals are especially relevant to businesses that use them.

Reports cover call counts, connection rates, pipeline movement, revenue, telecaller activity and lead-source performance. Cratio says its cloud infrastructure runs on AWS in Mumbai and that communications use HTTPS with TLS encryption. Role-based permissions, audit logging, field-level access controls and API authentication provide controls for teams managing access to customer records.

Pricing

Pro: ₹799/user/mo (annual). The plan has a five-user minimum, so the starting commitment is for at least five seats; 18% GST is extra. Pro includes email support, a knowledge base, videos and implementation help. The published price makes the entry point clear for a team that meets the minimum, but the seat floor rules out a low-cost one-person start.

Enterprise: custom pricing. It adds custom forms, custom integrations, offline billing and a dedicated account manager, making it the relevant tier for organizations that need those provisions and direct account support.

There is no free plan. The trial offers full-feature access for 30 days before subscription, with CRM setup, migration and team onboarding. That gives a team time to assess its workflows before paying, but it does not remove the five-user minimum when it subscribes.

Platforms

Cratio supports Android, iOS, web and API access. Its Android app is central to SIM call tracking; the broader CRM is also available on iOS and web. API access and webhooks give developers integration options beyond the built-in connections.

Who it's for

Cratio is a good fit for Indian sales teams that manage prospects through calls and WhatsApp, especially where managers need call records and recordings attached to lead histories. Its industry focus and integrations may suit real estate, education, financial services and manufacturing teams. It is a poor fit for solo operators, teams that require a free tier, or organizations that need Android-style call tracking on iOS.

Pros and cons

Pros

Android SIM calls and recordings connect to lead records, giving managers a contextual view of phone activity without requiring a VoIP app.
The WhatsApp Business team inbox combines templates, campaigns, chatbot and automation for sales teams using WhatsApp with prospects.
Lead routing, pipeline management, workflow automation and sales reporting cover key stages from capture through team oversight.
API access, webhooks and a broad integration set offer multiple ways to connect lead sources and other business tools.

Cons

Pro requires at least five users, which makes it unsuitable for a solo user or a small team seeking a lower-seat entry point.
Call tracking is specific to Android, limiting that workflow for teams whose sellers use iPhones.
No free plan is available, so teams can evaluate the product for 30 days but cannot continue on a free tier.
Enterprise pricing is custom, making its cost harder to compare before a sales conversation.

Alternatives

For teams comparing other CRM options, CRM Software is a broader category to explore; teams seeking a fitness-focused product can browse Fitness CRM Software.

GymSales is another paid option with Android, iOS, web and API platforms; its fees and included services are set out in a subscription agreement, and optional SMS is charged per credit sent.
Smarfle is worth considering when a month-to-month solo plan is the priority: its Solo plan is $19.00 USD per month for one user, up to 100 clients and 1 GB storage, with a booking link and calendar and client management.
WinChilla is another paid option; the company behind it is identified as Loyalty Gator Inc., whose founders have more than 30 years of combined experience.
Boost CRM may suit buyers focused on prospect pipelines, follow-up automations and sales funnels; its Pro annual plan is €89.00 per year with a one-year commitment and €1,068 billed at once.
UrbanGym offers a free plan for one gym location, up to 50 members and two staff accounts, with 100 SMS per month; it is a web-only option for teams that value a no-cost start.
BuddyPT Fitness CRM has a free Starter plan for up to 10 clients and paid tiers, making it an alternative for teams seeking a free entry point.
FitJoy is a web-based option with a $29.00 USD per month Joya plan that includes an AI sales agent, follow-up and win-back tools, reviews, cold-lead revival, messaging and Mindbody or MarianaTek sync.
GymCRM is another option for fitness businesses, with Android, iOS and web support and a ₹299/month launch offer for unlimited members among the first 100 gyms.

Verdict

Choose Cratio if an Indian sales team needs lead management, Android call records and WhatsApp Business workflows connected in one system, with integrations and reporting for managers. Its linked call histories and wide sales workflow are the strongest reasons to choose it. Look elsewhere if the team has fewer than five users, needs a free plan, or depends on iPhone-based call tracking.
