Overview

Crowdpurr is a browser-based platform for polls, trivia, social walls and bingo at live, virtual and hybrid events. It suits event teams that want several audience formats and presentation or streaming options in one tool. Its free plan is useful for small sessions, but paid tiers become necessary quickly as participant counts and event needs grow.

Key features

Participants join in a browser, without downloading a native app, across devices and browsers. That keeps the audience side straightforward for mixed-device events. Hosts can show a Presentation View on a projector or TV, stream it through YouTube Live or OBS, or share it in Zoom or Webex. Crowdpurr also offers a Webex Embedded App for launching the experience inside a meeting. OBS integration requires the Conference Plan or higher.

The format mix is broader than polling and quizzes alone: teams can run trivia, social walls and bingo as well. A library of more than 2,000 professionally written trivia games gives hosts material to start from, while Crowdpurr AI can generate games and questions, create notes, or rewrite questions. Social Walls can collect X and Instagram posts by hashtag and accept participant photo uploads. There is no live Q&A or slide integration, so teams needing either should look elsewhere.

Hosts can export participant responses, results, lead capture and rankings to Excel or Google Sheets, which helps carry event data into existing workflows. Crowdpurr says it uses AWS hosting and SHA-256 AES/CBC encryption across SSL protocols. It says it does not sell or rent user or participant data, supports GDPR review, export and deletion, and is in the process of SOC II Type 2 compliance.

Pricing

Crowdpurr has a free Basic Plan and paid plans with one-month licensing. There is no free trial of Premium Plans, though a free demo is offered. The free plan is a practical way to try small events, but its 20-participant, 15-question and three-simultaneous-experience caps, plus 15 minutes of host live streaming, are restrictive for larger or recurring programs.

Basic Plan: $0.00 per free, always. It allows 20 participants and 15 questions per experience, three simultaneous experiences and 15 minutes of host live streaming. Best for small, occasional sessions.
Classroom Plan: $49.99 USD per month for a one-month license; the plan also shows $24.99 Monthly (USD) and $299.94 YEARLY 50% OFF. It raises the limits to 100 participants, 100 questions, 10 simultaneous experiences and two team members, with 30 minutes of host live streaming. A fit for classes or smaller events; Classroom and higher include phone and chat support.
Seminar Plan: $149.99 USD per month for a one-month license; also $74.99 Monthly (USD) and $899.94 YEARLY 50% OFF. It supports 500 participants, 25 simultaneous experiences, five team members and 60 minutes of host live streaming. The participant ceiling makes it more suitable for larger sessions than Classroom, though the per-experience question cap remains 100.
Conference Plan: $249.99 USD per month for a one-month license; also $124.99 Monthly (USD) and $1499.94 YEARLY 50% OFF. It supports 1,000 participants, 50 simultaneous experiences, 10 team members and unlimited host live streaming, and adds OBS integration. This is the first plan for teams that need that integration or more than an hour of host streaming.
Convention Plan: $499.99 USD per month for a one-month license; also $249.99 Monthly (USD) and $2999.94 YEARLY 50% OFF. It supports 5,000 participants, 100 simultaneous experiences and 25 team members, with 100 questions per experience and live stream recording. Choose it when the Conference participant ceiling is too low or recording is needed.
Stadium Plan: $999.99 USD per month for a one-month license; also $499.99 Monthly (USD) and $5999.94 YEARLY 50% OFF. It supports 15,000 participants, 150 simultaneous experiences and 50 team members, while keeping the 100-question-per-experience cap. It is aimed at very large audiences, not teams seeking more question capacity.

The listed plan prices and monthly or yearly amounts differ, so buyers should match the license term and price to their event schedule. All paid tiers impose experience, participant or team-member limits; the higher plans mainly buy more scale and streaming capacity rather than more questions per experience.

Platforms

Crowdpurr is web-based. Participants use a browser across devices, and the presentation can be projected, streamed or screen-shared; it is not a native-app offering.

Who it's for

Crowdpurr is strongest for event organizers who want polls, trivia, bingo and social participation in a browser-based experience, with options to display or stream results. Its exports suit teams that need to move responses, rankings or lead data into spreadsheets. It is less suitable when the event depends on live Q&A, slide integration, or participant volumes beyond the selected plan's ceiling.

Pros and cons

Pro: Several event formats share one platform, including polls, trivia, social walls and bingo, giving hosts options beyond a single interaction type.
Pro: Browser participation and projector, streaming and screen-sharing options accommodate varied event setups without requiring a participant app.
Pro: Spreadsheet exports cover responses, results, lead capture and rankings, making post-event data easier to carry into team workflows.
Con: The free plan tops out at 20 participants, 15 questions per experience and 15 minutes of host streaming, so it is a trial ground rather than a broad free event tier.
Con: The 100-question cap per experience persists across paid plans, including the top tiers.
Con: There is no live Q&A or slide integration, which leaves gaps for teams that need discussion or presentation authoring in the same workflow.
Con: Premium Plans have no free trial, so teams must rely on the free Basic Plan or demo before committing.

Alternatives

For a wider category scan, compare Student Response Systems, Interactive Presentation Software, Polling Software, Quiz Maker Software and Audience Response Systems.

Poll Everywhere is worth considering when a free audience size of 40 is more useful than Crowdpurr's 20-person Basic cap, or when native Android, iOS, macOS or Windows platforms matter.
AhaSlides is an alternative for teams whose free tier's 50 participants, five quiz questions, three poll questions and unlimited monthly presentations fit their needs.
ClassClicker may suit classroom use where the free tier's 200 participants per class and five live classes per month fit the teaching schedule.
iClicker is an alternative to consider for attendance tracking, auto-run class sessions and late-arrival tracking.
QuizTheClass is an alternative for teams considering a 14-day all-features free trial or an annual plan with unlimited students.
Vevox is an option when a free tier for 100 participants and one user is the better starting point.
Kahoot! is an alternative for teams that want its free tier's classic live quiz experience for up to 40 participants.
PINGO is an alternative.

Verdict

Choose Crowdpurr for browser-based event engagement when your team wants a varied mix of polls, trivia, social walls and bingo, plus flexible presentation and streaming options. Its scale tiers and exports can support larger event operations, but plan carefully around participant ceilings, host-streaming allowances and the 100-question limit. Look elsewhere if live Q&A or slide integration is essential, or if you need to test a paid tier before purchase.
