Overview

Campaigns can be built with text, images and video, then run as Keep-it-all or All-or-nothing. Keep-it-all lets a campaign continue for as long as needed; All-or-nothing is limited to 60 days. That makes the latter a more constrained choice for fundraisers that need a defined goal window, while Keep-it-all avoids a platform-imposed end date.

Payments route directly to a connected Stripe or PayPal account rather than being held by FundRazr. That gives organizers a direct payout path, but it makes having a supported payment account part of the setup. The platform accepts credit and debit cards, Google Pay and Apple Pay.

Key features

Campaigns, events and teams

FundRazr supports fundraising events and peer-to-peer campaigns with registration forms, tickets, teams, roles, permissions and leaderboards. These tools suit organizations coordinating participants or registrations, rather than those needing only a basic donation page. Campaigns can also include wishlists, perks or rewards, product variants, inventory, shipping and reporting, supporting product-led fundraising as well as donations.

Outreach and integrations

Organizers can share campaigns through Facebook, X, LinkedIn, email, Messenger and WhatsApp, or add a campaign to a website with a widget or donate button. Native integrations, Zapier and Mailchimp connect fundraising activity with CRM and marketing workflows, a practical advantage for teams that already rely on those tools.

Receipts, reporting and support

Organizations legally able to issue tax receipts can generate them automatically at no extra charge. FundRazr also states that it provides transaction reports, analytics, anonymized donations and privacy configurations, and that its platform has 99.9% uptime with daily technical monitoring. The ConnectionPoint Help Centre covers setup through troubleshooting and offers contact support during regular business hours.

Raffles and online auctions are unsupported because licensing requirements vary by jurisdiction. Causes that depend on either format will need another platform.

Pricing

FundRazr has a free plan with no monthly or yearly charge. The two fee models differ chiefly in whether a platform fee applies and how much donor fee coverage they target:

Optional Tips: 0.00 USD per free, billed No platform fee; Platform fee: None - 0% · payment processing: 2.9% + $0.30* · 95% of donors cover fees. This is the stronger fit for organizers who want to avoid a platform fee and are comfortable with optional donor tips as the fee-coverage approach.
Fee Recovery: 0.00 USD per free, billed No monthly, yearly or hidden fees; Platform fee: 1%- Donation form or 5%- Fundraising pages · payment processing: 2.9% + $0.30* · 85-95% of donors cover fees. This adds a platform fee that varies by donation form or fundraising page, in exchange for a fee-recovery model suited to organizers prioritizing donor coverage.

Both plans still have payment processing charges, so “free” means no subscription rather than cost-free transactions. The fee distinction matters most for teams comparing donor coverage against platform charges.

Platforms

FundRazr is available on the web and through an API. That suits web-based campaign operations and integrations, though teams choosing primarily on native mobile app access should compare alternatives that list Android or iOS support.

Who it's for

FundRazr fits individuals, nonprofits, organizations, businesses, schools and sports teams that need more than a standalone donation form. Event registration, team permissions and leaderboards support coordinated participation; reward, inventory and shipping options extend campaigns to tangible products. It is less suitable for fundraisers that need raffles or auctions, or that cannot work within the 60-day All-or-nothing limit.

Pros and cons

Pros: Two funding models let organizers choose between an open-ended campaign and a goal-based campaign with a fixed maximum duration.
Pros: Events, peer-to-peer teams, rewards and product handling bring several fundraising formats into one platform.
Pros: Direct Stripe or PayPal routing, automatic tax receipts for eligible organizations and CRM/marketing integrations address important operational needs.
Cons: All-or-nothing campaigns cannot exceed 60 days, limiting longer goal-based drives.
Cons: Processing charges apply to both free plans, and Fee Recovery adds a 1% or 5% platform fee depending on the fundraising route.
Cons: Raffles and online auctions are not supported, ruling out two common fundraising formats.

Alternatives

JustGiving is worth comparing for charities seeking its free Start plan, which has no monthly subscription fee and supports Gift Aid reclaim subject to a 5% fee; standard payment processing fees also apply.

WhyDonate is another free web and API option with a 0% platform fee and no sign-up or monthly cost, though recurring donations incur a 3% platform fee from the second payment.

GoFundMe Pro is an alternative for nonprofits with annual revenue under $1 million that want core product-suite access without subscription or setup costs; its Essentials price is custom pricing.

AdoptAClassroom.org is an alternative for eligible U.S. educators whose donations are intended as online credit for marketplace or Teacher Choice purchases.

DonorsChoose suits teachers posting classroom projects, with a $100 minimum request and projects that may remain posted for up to four months.

Ketto offers a free Bronze plan with automated story creation and Android and iOS apps, while a 3% payment gateway fee and 18% GST on its success fee and payment gateway fee apply.

LaunchGood is another option with no platform fee and optional checkout tips, while card processing costs 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction.

Milaap is a free-fundraiser alternative with zero platform fees, actual payment processing charges and voluntary tipping.

Verdict

Choose FundRazr if your organization needs flexible campaign funding plus event, team, reward or product fundraising, and can route payments through Stripe or PayPal. Its breadth and direct payouts are compelling; look elsewhere if you need raffles or auctions, or if a 60-day ceiling does not suit your All-or-nothing campaign.
