Overview

DRIVETHRUiQ is built around the operational flow of a drive-thru: tracking service points, surfacing delays and showing whether locations are meeting goals. Operators can use it for lane management, kitchen coordination, arrival detection and throughput analytics. DTiQ also offers headsets and speaker posts, with the posts compatible with either detection approach.

The system is designed to scale from a single high-volume restaurant to operators with hundreds of locations. That range makes it relevant to both independent sites and multi-location teams, though the best setup depends on lane complexity and which performance alerts are required.

Key features

Live service visibility

The timer screen brings together live service times, goal status, bottlenecks, parked cars, customer journey times and car counts, with alerts when targets are at risk. That gives managers a way to spot pressure as it develops rather than relying only on later reporting. A ranking screen compares stores across a district, region or enterprise against selected brand priorities, giving teams a shared performance benchmark.

Two detection approaches

Computer vision can monitor activity before the lane, follow customer journeys through wait bays, identify car reversals and support multi-lane or complex layouts. DTiQ says vision installations can avoid cutting concrete, a practical advantage for sites where construction would be disruptive. Loop detection instead tracks the pre-warn area, order point, cash window when applicable and present window. It is positioned for simpler single- or dual-lane locations; operators with more complex layouts have a stronger reason to consider vision.

Reporting and integrations

Panorama is a cloud analytics suite with custom dashboards, charts, more than 80 reports, hourly trends, leaderboards, anomaly alerts and data export. It can be accessed on any device, making it useful for comparing operating patterns beyond the live timer screen. Customers combining VIDEOiQ, DATAiQ and DRIVETHRUiQ can use 360iQ to bring service-point performance together with store KPIs, synchronized video and POS data.

DTiQ lists POS integrations including Aloha by NCR, Brink by PAR, Clover, Oracle Simphony, QU, Revel, Square and Toast. The breadth of named systems is useful for teams checking compatibility, while operators should confirm their specific POS setup before committing.

Pricing

DRIVETHRUiQ is paid, with custom pricing.

Panorama notification access has a concrete license dependency: real-time push notifications for meeting service goals require a Multi-View license, while missed-goal notifications require Multi-View or higher. Teams choosing a lower license should not assume they will receive both kinds of push alert.

Platforms

DRIVETHRUiQ is a web platform deployed in the cloud. Panorama is accessible on any device. DTiQ says store-to-cloud data is encrypted and that its private cloud runs in SSAE 16 and SOC-audited Tier 3 facilities.

Who it's for

DRIVETHRUiQ is best suited to quick-service restaurant operators that need live service visibility and a way to compare performance across locations. Its support for both simpler lanes and more complex multi-lane layouts makes it adaptable across varied estates, while Panorama and 360iQ add value for teams that need reporting or a broader connection to store KPIs, video and POS data.

DTiQ also describes solutions for convenience stores and retail brands, but this product's features are specifically centered on drive-thru operations. Buyers in those sectors should have a drive-thru use case rather than assuming the platform is a general store-operations suite.

Pros and cons

Pros: Live service times, bottlenecks, parked cars and at-risk goal alerts make operational issues visible during service.
Pros: Vision and loop detection provide distinct options for complex and simpler lane layouts, respectively.
Pros: Panorama's more than 80 reports, hourly trends, dashboards and exports support analysis across locations.
Pros: Named POS integrations and the 360iQ connection can join lane performance with store, video and POS context.
Cons: Push notifications for goal status depend on a Multi-View license or higher, which may affect the license choice for teams relying on alerts.
Cons: Paid custom pricing makes cost comparison dependent on a quote rather than a published plan.
Cons: Loop detection is aimed at simpler single- or dual-lane sites, so complex layouts point toward the vision option instead.

Alternatives

Verdict

Choose DRIVETHRUiQ if your restaurant operation needs live drive-thru visibility, location-to-location performance comparisons and reporting that can connect with video and POS context. The choice of detection method gives it reach from simpler lanes to complex layouts, but the Panorama license requirement for goal notifications and custom pricing deserve attention before purchase. Look elsewhere if you need a published price or a platform outside web.
