Overview

Eklavvya covers assessment setup, browser-based delivery, remote monitoring, and results analysis. Its question formats and scoring controls give administrators room to shape different kinds of exams, while audit logs and integration options support larger assessment programs. Teams that require software hosted on their own servers should look elsewhere.

Key features

Question design and exam controls

Question banks support image-based, audio-based, objective, and subjective questions. Administrators can set passing marks, organize questions by topic, apply negative marking, and choose difficulty levels. This flexibility can accommodate varied assessment formats and scoring rules without requiring a single exam structure across every program.

Proctoring and audit logs

Remote proctoring is intended to authenticate and authorize candidates and control online exams. Image capture, video proctoring, AI proctoring, and screen-sharing exams are supported on Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS. Administrators can review activity by both candidates and administrators, giving teams an additional record of exam operations.

Results and integration

Result processing includes rankings, individual and batch analysis of question attempts, and score and group-performance analysis. Eklavvya offers integrations with ERP, LMS, CRM, and custom applications using options such as SSO and REST APIs. Documented APIs cover candidate and exam workflows, scheduling, results, face verification, proctoring image analysis, and code grading, making the platform more relevant to teams that need assessment workflows to connect with their stack.

The features page states that Eklavvya is CERT-IN certified for software security and ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certified for information security management. The application is delivered as managed SaaS and cannot be hosted on a customer's own server. That is a material constraint for organizations whose deployment requirements depend on self-hosting.

Pricing

Eklavvya uses a freemium model. The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and includes 25 exams and 1 GB of storage, with technical support by email only. The pricing page counts usage in exam credits based on candidate exam instances, so the exam allowance should be assessed against expected candidate volume, not just the number of exam designs.

Standard includes 500 exams and 5 GB of storage; Professional includes 500 exams and 10 GB. Both have custom pricing. Enterprise includes 20 GB of storage, custom pricing, and an account manager for technical support. The published plan information gives no exam quota for Enterprise, so teams comparing that tier with the lower plans should confirm how usage fits their program.

The Free plan's limited exam allowance and email-only support make it a lower-commitment option for smaller or early-stage use, but teams with sustained candidate volume may need a paid tier. Standard and Professional share the same stated exam count, with Professional distinguished by additional storage; Enterprise adds account-manager support.

Platforms

Eklavvya is available across Android, iOS, macOS, web, and Windows, with API access. Exams are delivered through a browser, while supported devices are used for the listed proctoring and screen-sharing modes. It does not support customer-server hosting.

Who it's for

Eklavvya fits institutions and enterprises running remote assessments that need multiple question formats, configurable scoring, proctoring, and results analysis. It is also a plausible choice for teams integrating candidate and exam processes with existing business or learning systems. Organizations that require self-hosting, or cannot make the exam-credit model work for their candidate volume, should consider other options.

Pros and cons

Pros

Broad question formats and exam controls support varied assessment designs and scoring rules.
Proctoring, identity verification, audit logs, and results analysis cover important parts of remote exam administration.
SSO and REST API options, plus documented candidate, exam, scheduling, result, and proctoring workflows, support integration with existing systems.
A free tier provides 25 exams and 1 GB of storage, giving teams a limited-cost entry point.

Cons

Exam credits are based on candidate exam instances, so the 25-exam free allowance may be consumed faster than a team expects from counting exam designs alone.
Customer-server hosting is not supported, excluding deployments that require self-hosting.
Standard and Professional both state a 500-exam allowance, and their prices are custom, limiting direct comparison from the published plan terms.
Free-plan technical support is email-only.

Verdict

Choose Eklavvya if your institution or enterprise needs configurable remote exams, proctoring, result analysis, and APIs to connect assessments to the systems it already uses. The main reason to choose it is the breadth of its assessment workflow; the main reasons to look elsewhere are its SaaS-only deployment and the need to validate candidate-based exam credits against your volume.
