Overview

emlen gives sellers a shared room where prospects can explore materials, invite colleagues, and use comments and Q&A. A central content library supports search, tags, and templates, with automatic updates across active deals. That combination puts buyer-facing collaboration and sales content management in one workflow rather than treating a room as a static file page.

Buyer analytics track who engages with content and which materials attract attention, with real-time insights and notifications. These signals can help a team prioritize follow-up, but the platform’s broader deal-risk analysis is reserved for its Business tier.

Key features

Rooms, content, and buyer engagement

Branded rooms support shared content, comments, Q&A, and buyer invitations. Custom domains are available on Professional and above, while the content library’s tagging, templates, and automatic updates help keep sales materials consistent across deals. The Forever Free plan permits unlimited content upload and storage, but caps room creation at 10.

AI and CRM connections

On Business, emlen AI can answer buyer questions about pricing, features, and next steps around the clock. It also analyzes engagement, content performance, CRM activity, deal stage, and prior won and lost deals to flag risks and recommend content. That makes Business the relevant choice for teams seeking AI-assisted buyer self-service and deal guidance; teams on lower tiers do not get AI self-service.

Professional adds two-way CRM integrations and Slack. Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, and HubSpot are named among CRM integrations, and pricing also names Pipedrive. Business adds Google Drive and OneDrive connections. Enterprise adds API access and custom integrations for organizations needing a more tailored setup.

Pricing

emlen uses a freemium model, with paid plans from $69/user/mo. Prices below are stated in USD and follow the listed billing terms.

Plan	Price	What it includes
Forever Free	0.00 USD per month (billed $0/month)	Unlimited users, up to 10 Digital Sales Rooms, unlimited content upload and storage, essential analytics, and chat support. AI self-service is unavailable.
Professional	69.00 USD per month (billed $69/month per user)	Unlimited rooms, custom domain, two-way CRM integrations, and Slack.
Business	99.00 USD per month (billed $99/month per user)	Everything in Professional, emlen AI, advanced analytics, Google Drive/OneDrive integration, and customer success support.
Core	450.00 USD per month (billed $450/month)	Five sales seats, unlimited rooms, and unlimited admin and marketing seats; additional sales seats are $89/mo/seat.
Marketing automation add-on	499.00 USD per month (billed Starting from $499/month)	Platform fee; available only with Business or Enterprise.
Enterprise	Custom pricing	Custom features, SAML SSO, custom DPA, API access, custom integrations, and advanced security settings.

Forever Free is a practical way to assess room workflows without a seat charge, but the 10-room ceiling and lack of AI self-service limit its role in an active sales organization. Professional removes the room cap and adds core integrations, but is priced per user and does not include emlen AI. Business costs more per user but is the step up for AI, advanced analytics, and customer success services, including a dedicated customer success manager.

Core’s flat monthly price includes five sales seats and uncapped admin and marketing seats, which may suit teams with a distinct sales-seat requirement; additional sales capacity costs $89/mo/seat. The Marketing automation add-on starts at $499/month and requires Business or Enterprise. Enterprise has custom pricing, with security and integration options for organizations that need SAML single sign-on or a custom agreement.

Platforms

emlen is available on web and through an API. The company states that the service is GDPR compliant and EU hosted, relevant considerations for teams handling buyer information in Europe.

Who it's for

emlen is aimed at B2B sales and marketing teams, including sales leaders, account executives, SDR/BDRs, and marketing roles. It is strongest for teams that want structured buyer rooms, shared sales content, and engagement signals connected to CRM activity. A small team can begin on the free tier; organizations that need AI guidance, richer analytics, or enterprise security should weigh the per-user Business price or custom-priced Enterprise plan.

Pros and cons

Pro: The free tier has unlimited users and content storage, so teams can explore room-based selling without a per-seat charge, within the 10-room cap.
Pro: Two-way CRM integrations begin on Professional, while Business adds AI, advanced analytics, and cloud-drive connections.
Pro: Enterprise includes SAML SSO, a custom DPA, API access, and custom integrations for more demanding security and stack needs.
Con: AI self-service and AI deal insights sit behind Business, increasing the cost for teams that want those capabilities.
Con: Professional and Business are priced per user, so expanding a team raises the monthly bill.
Con: Core’s $450.00 USD per month price includes five sales seats, and each additional sales seat costs $89/mo/seat.

Verdict

Choose emlen if your B2B team wants branded buyer rooms connected to sales content, CRM activity, and engagement analytics, with a clear route to AI-assisted deal work. The free plan is useful for a bounded start, but the main reason to look elsewhere is cost: AI requires Business at $99.00 USD per month per user, while custom enterprise requirements move to custom pricing.
