Overview

Everee Onboarding+ is an onboarding and compliance product for employers coordinating distributed or field workers across clients, roles, or locations. It is best suited to staffing, healthcare, and field-services teams that need identity checks and worker documents alongside onboarding. Its strength is joining remote I-9, E-Verify, credentials, and custom paperwork in one workflow; teams needing only basic eligibility checks may find it broader than necessary.

Everee handles W-4, 1099, and state forms, while Onboarding+ adds remote I-9 and E-Verify workflows, credential tracking, and custom documents. WorkBright powers its I-9, E-Verify, credential-verification, and document workflows.

Key features

Remote I-9 and E-Verify

Authorized representatives can review identity documents for Section 2 remotely and submit the review into the system. E-Verify cases are created automatically as I-9s arrive, with statuses tracked in one place. This is useful for distributed hiring teams that need the verification steps connected rather than managed separately.

Credentials and worker documents

Workers can upload credentials such as RN, LPN, BLS, ACLS, CDL, MA, EMT, and custom certifications. Administrators can review them and track expiration dates, which suits teams managing roles with recurring credential requirements.

Reusable templates with variable fields let administrators generate worker-specific contracts, NDAs, policy acknowledgments, and equipment receipts. Structured signature workflows enforce the intended signing sequence. Signed documents and verified credentials are retained with an audit trail and can be retrieved in seconds.

Integration and implementation

APIs, webhooks, and embeddable experiences support employee and contractor onboarding, worker data, timesheets, payroll, and pay-statement access. Everee lists integrations including LaborEdge, Bullhorn, ActivateStaff, NextCrew, Deputy, Fountain, Timeero, Employee Navigator, QuickBooks Online, and VimHR, among others. That breadth can help teams fit onboarding into an existing stack, though organizations should confirm that their specific systems are covered.

Everee says most customers are live in two weeks, with Customer Success helping configure documents and set up I-9 and E-Verify workflows. Everee also states that it uses industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information.

Pricing

Plan	Price	What it covers
Standard I-9 and onboarding workflows	Free	Standard I-9 and onboarding workflows, included at no additional charge.
Onboarding+	Custom pricing	Priced per new hire onboarded, based on workforce size and document complexity.

The free Standard workflows give teams a no-additional-charge starting point for standard I-9 and onboarding. They do not include the broader Onboarding+ additions: remote I-9 workflow, E-Verify, electronic signatures, audit trail, API access, and employee self-service are included with Onboarding+. Its per-hire pricing can suit organizations whose onboarding volume varies, but teams should weigh workforce size and document complexity when requesting a quote.

Platforms

Everee supports Android, iOS, web, and API access. The combination of mobile and web access is relevant to field teams, while APIs and embeddable experiences support organizations integrating onboarding and worker data into their own systems.

Who it's for

Onboarding+ is a strong fit for staffing, healthcare, and field-services operations onboarding workers across multiple clients, roles, or locations. Its credential tracking and configurable documents add value when teams manage varied worker requirements. A team that only needs an online E-Verify service, or has a simple single-site process, may not need the wider paid workflow.

Pros and cons

Pros

Connected verification: Remote Section 2 review and automatic E-Verify case creation keep related steps in one workflow.
Worker-document coverage: Credential expiration tracking, reusable templates, and sequenced signatures address more than initial form collection.
Integration options: APIs, webhooks, embedding, and a broad integration list give teams ways to connect onboarding with existing operations.
Free baseline: Standard I-9 and onboarding workflows are free, offering a no-additional-charge option before choosing Onboarding+.

Cons

Onboarding+ requires a quote: Per-new-hire pricing depends on workforce size and document complexity, making costs harder to compare without a tailored price.
Broader than basic verification: Teams seeking only simple online E-Verify may not benefit from the wider document and onboarding workflow.

Alternatives

Employment Eligibility Verification Software is a broader category directory for comparing options.

Symmetry I-9 is another paid option with custom pricing for payroll tax APIs and onboarding compliance software; consider it when that combination is the priority.
EMP Trust Electronic Form I-9 has a free trial and a Standard plan at 299.00 USD per month, billed $299/month; $3,588/year, with fair usage limits and a recruiting module for +$125/mo. Its Premium plan is 599.00 USD per month. Consider it when a published monthly starting price and trial matter.
GryphonHR offers a Basic plan at 50.00 USD per month on a one-year term, billed monthly, for 1 to 100 annual new hires and unlimited users. It is worth comparing when a stated entry price and annual hire band suit your needs.
i9 Intelligence has a Starter plan at 50.00 USD per month for up to 50 I-9s per year, unlimited users and locations, E-Verify, remote Section 2, compliance alerts, and an audit trail. Choose it when those defined I-9 limits and capabilities fit better than per-hire custom pricing.
E-Verify is a free web option for teams looking for a standalone alternative.
Veridia is another paid, web-based option.
OnBlick I-9 Assist has a free trial and an Emerging Plan at 50.00 USD per month, with up to 2 user licenses and 10 GB of document storage. Consider it if those plan limits align with a smaller team.
Onboarded is another paid option with API and web platforms.

Verdict

Choose Everee Onboarding+ if your team coordinates distributed or field workers and wants remote I-9, E-Verify, credentials, and custom documents connected to broader onboarding and payroll workflows. Its strongest reason to choose it is that combined operational scope; its main drawback is that the per-hire price depends on workforce size and document complexity. Look elsewhere if you need only basic eligibility checks or need a clear published price before engaging a vendor.
