Overview

Founded in 2006, ezyVet serves general, specialty, emergency and multi-location veterinary practices. Its scope brings clinical and administrative work into one system, from patient records and diagnostic orders to invoicing and client communication. That breadth is useful for teams trying to coordinate workflows across the practice; it also means that price and infrastructure fit deserve attention before committing.

The cloud platform is accessible across devices and receives automatic software enhancements. ezyVet uses encryption, role-based access controls and two-factor sign-ins on AWS infrastructure, and has SOC 2 Type 2 compliance based on an independent audit.

Key features

Clinical and operational workflows

Automated billing adds charges for exams, treatments and notes as work is completed. That can help keep charges aligned with recorded care rather than relying on a separate manual billing step. Clinical records sit alongside inventory, reporting and client communications, giving practices a broad operational base in one product.

Diagnostics and extensibility

Through IDEXX VetConnect PLUS, teams can order IDEXX tests and return normalized results directly to patient records. More than 100 certified partner integrations span diagnostics, payments, communications and other workflows. API access lets practices build custom tools, integrations and reporting, making ezyVet a better fit for teams with integration needs than a closed system would be.

Mobile and AI-assisted notes

ezyVet Go supports recording clinical care information offline, a practical option when connectivity is unavailable during mobile work. AI-Assisted notes is in beta and free during the beta period; it is optimized for English input and requires client consent before recording. Those conditions matter for practices considering it as part of their documentation process.

Pricing

ezyVet is paid, with no free plan. The Starting package is 199.00 USD per month, with package pricing that varies by hospital or practice size. It includes cloud veterinary practice management software, scheduling and online booking, a Customer Portal, clinical records and client communications. That gives practices a core set of practice-management functions, but the size-based pricing makes the starting figure a baseline rather than a universal quote.

The ezyVet plan is 260.50 USD per month, billed per month. It includes all features and the latest updates, 100+ integrations and unlimited 24/7 support through in-product help, email or phone. Practices that need the integration breadth and round-the-clock assistance have a clear reason to consider this tier; smaller teams should weigh those additions against the lower-priced package.

Scheduling supports booking through a website and client portal, reminders by email and SMS, telehealth, recurring appointments and calendar sync. The mobile apps are available for iOS and Android. Pricing includes support, but no free plan is offered.

Platforms

ezyVet supports Android, iOS, macOS, web and Windows, as well as API access. The primary internet connection requirement is at least 20 Mbps for small organizations and 50 Mbps for large ones. Supported computer operating systems include Windows 11 and macOS. Direct printing through ezyPrint requires at least one Microsoft Windows device, a constraint for practices whose computer environment is entirely Mac-based.

Who it's for

ezyVet suits veterinary practices of varied sizes and specialties that want clinical and operational workflows in a cloud platform, especially those that value diagnostics integration, custom API work or mobile care recording. Its connectivity thresholds and Windows requirement for direct printing are important fit checks; teams unable to meet them should look elsewhere.

Pros and cons

Pros: More than 100 certified integrations and API access support practices with diverse systems or custom workflow needs.
Pros: Offline care recording in ezyVet Go can support mobile work when an internet connection is unavailable.
Pros: Unlimited 24/7 support is included in the ezyVet plan, with in-product, email and phone channels.
Cons: Package pricing varies with practice size, so the 199.00 USD per month starting price may not represent a larger practice's cost.
Cons: Direct printing through ezyPrint requires a Windows device, limiting fit for Windows-free practices.
Cons: The stated internet requirements—20 Mbps for small organizations and 50 Mbps for large ones—may rule it out where connectivity falls short.

Verdict

Choose ezyVet if your veterinary practice needs a broad cloud practice-management platform with substantial integration options, API access and offline mobile care recording. Its main draw is the combination of clinical and operational workflows with ways to connect or extend them. Look elsewhere if the practice-size-based pricing, internet thresholds or Windows requirement for direct printing do not fit your operation.
