Overview

FindLume is a discovery and shopping-assistance platform for online stores, bringing visual search, recommendations and merchandising into one service. It is best suited to merchants that want catalog-aware discovery across storefronts and APIs. The breadth is useful, but monthly search and chat quotas, seat caps and limited support on lower tiers make plan fit important.

Shoppers can upload an image to find products by color, style and shape, while hybrid ranking combines visual similarity with text relevance. A catalog-based assistant answers questions and recommends products. Together, these tools serve shoppers who browse by appearance as well as those who need help narrowing a choice.

Key features

Search and assistance

Visual search is based on image uploads, so it suits stores where customers can show the look they want rather than describe it. Hybrid ranking fuses vector similarity with text relevance, connecting visual and written search signals. The assistant uses a store’s catalog and knowledge base to answer questions and suggest products; its usefulness at scale depends on the plan’s monthly chat allowance.

Merchandising and analytics

Merchants can pin, boost, bury or hide products in search results, with a real-time preview. These controls let teams shape visibility directly rather than relying only on ranking. Analytics track searches, clicks, zero-result queries and conversion rates, giving merchants practical signals for refining discovery.

Integrations, data and service

FindLume supports Shopify, Magento, Shopware and any platform, and offers both web and API access. Shopper data is processed on servers in Germany; catalog imports run on the maker’s hardware in Bulgaria. Habitat Creative Ltd. provides a GDPR Article 28 Data Processing Agreement. FindLume says website-specific models are not combined across merchants and Microsoft does not use Azure OpenAI data to train its models.

Support is by email, with priority support on Scale; Enterprise offers dedicated support and an SLA. There is no availability guarantee outside a written Enterprise agreement. If a monthly quota is exhausted with no pack balance, requests of that type are refused until the quota resets, so shops with variable demand should plan around those caps.

Pricing

FindLume has a free plan and a 14-day trial. The pricing note gives paid pricing from €79/mo (annual), while the specified monthly plans are Build at 99.00 EUR per month, Grow at 249.00 EUR per month and Scale at 549.00 EUR per month.

Free: 0.00 EUR per free. It offers quotas and limits, with no support commitment. This is a low-commitment way to assess fit, but the caps and lack of committed support make it a poor basis for a store that depends on reliable discovery.
Build: 99.00 EUR per month for one website, up to 10,000 products, 10,000 searches per month, API access, one team member, visual search and the AI shopping assistant. It fits a small shop that needs the core tools, but its single seat and search allowance constrain team use and traffic.
Grow: 249.00 EUR per month for three websites, up to 50,000 products, 150,000 searches and 2,000 AI chats per month, merchandising rules and up to 10 team members. This is the more practical tier for a multi-site operation or a team that needs search controls, though chat and search still have monthly ceilings.
Scale: 549.00 EUR per month for 10 websites, up to 250,000 products, 400,000 searches and 6,000 AI chats per month, up to 25 team members, 180-day data retention and priority support. It suits larger teams needing more capacity and a stronger support commitment, but remains quota-bound.
Enterprise: custom pricing, tailored to requirements. It includes unlimited websites, products and team members, custom search and chat volume, custom data retention, dedicated infrastructure, SSO, custom integrations, dedicated support and an SLA. It is the fit for organizations that need those controls and contractual service terms.

Platforms

FindLume is available on the web and through an API. Its supported shop platforms include Shopify, Magento, Shopware and any platform, making it relevant to both common commerce systems and custom storefronts.

Who it's for

It is a stronger fit for teams able to match their expected traffic and catalog size to a paid tier than for shops that need uncapped usage at a fixed lower price. Teams requiring an availability guarantee should consider Enterprise’s written agreement and SLA.

Pros and cons

Pros: Visual search, hybrid ranking and a catalog-aware assistant cover distinct product-discovery needs within one platform.
Pros: Pin, boost, bury and hide controls with real-time preview give merchants direct influence over search results.
Pros: Shopify, Magento, Shopware, any-platform support and API access accommodate varied shop stacks.
Cons: Paid plans cap searches, chats, products, websites and seats; exhausted quotas stop further requests until reset unless a pack balance exists.
Cons: Free has no support commitment, and only Scale includes priority support; dedicated support and an SLA require Enterprise.
Cons: FindLume provides no availability guarantee outside a written Enterprise agreement.

Verdict

Choose FindLume if your online store needs visual search, catalog-based assistance and merchandising controls across a web or API stack, and you can size a plan to its quotas. Its main advantage is the breadth of discovery features in one service; look elsewhere if uncapped requests, a guaranteed availability commitment on lower tiers or a smaller fixed-cost starting point matters more.
