Overview

Pike13 is scheduling, enrollment, payment and skill-tracking software for activity-based businesses. It suits studios and programs that need to coordinate classes, appointments, recurring billing and dependent accounts in one system. Its unlimited staff seats and client profiles are useful at scale, but the monthly plans carry a 12-month contract.

Key features

Scheduling covers classes, courses, appointments and recurring events, with capacity management, waitlists, instructor scheduling and client self-booking across web and mobile. That breadth fits businesses mixing group activities with individual appointments; recurring classes and waitlists also help manage routine enrollment and full sessions.

Billing supports automated recurring payments, prepaid plans, passes and gift cards, alongside payment-processing integrations. Family Accounts connect child profiles to a parent account, letting parents manage dependent bookings, payments and schedules—particularly relevant to swim schools, dance programs and other businesses serving children.

Integrations include Mailchimp, Zapier, Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, ClassPass, Smartwaiver, Perkville and Looker. Premium adds custom integrations and API access for enterprise workflows, giving teams a path to connect Pike13 with a broader stack. All plans include unlimited staff seats and client profiles, so seat or profile caps do not distinguish the tiers.

Pike13 says payment details are encrypted and tokenized, and that it does not store raw card data; payment data is held by partners such as Celero or Stripe. Multi-factor authentication is required for staff, managers and owners, while clients and limited staff can enable it optionally. Each new customer receives a dedicated onboarding specialist and access to the support team.

Pricing

Pike13 is paid software with a 7-day trial and no free plan. The pricing note gives a starting price of From $139/mo (annual), while the three plan prices are billed monthly under a 12-month contract:

Essential: 159.00 USD per month, billed monthly, with a 12-month contract. It is positioned for solo operators and small studios; unlimited staff seats and client profiles suit teams that do not need to ration accounts.
Advanced: 225.00 USD per month, billed monthly, with a 12-month contract. It is aimed at growing and multi-location businesses, with the same unlimited staff-seat and client-profile terms.
Premium: 286.00 USD per month, billed monthly, with a 12-month contract. It targets franchises and enterprise-level customization; custom integrations and API access make it the tier for more complex workflows.

The annual starting-price note differs from the monthly-billed plan prices, so buyers should confirm the applicable plan and term before committing. The 7-day trial offers a short evaluation window, while the 12-month contract is a meaningful commitment. Essential is the lowest priced plan, but it does not include Premium’s stated API access and custom integrations.

Platforms

Pike13 supports web, Android and iOS, plus an API. All plans include staff, client and kiosk apps for iOS and Android; the desktop portal runs in a browser without a download. API access for custom integrations is specifically included with Premium.

Who it's for

Pike13 is built for fitness studios, gyms, swim schools, martial arts academies, dance schools, education programs and recreation businesses. It is a strong fit where scheduling, billing and family-managed bookings need to work together. Teams requiring enterprise integrations can consider Premium; a solo studio may find Essential sufficient if its needs fit the included features.

It is less compelling for a business seeking a free tier or avoiding a year-long contract. Its pricing model and contract term make it a poor match for teams that need a no-cost starting point or short-term commitment.

Pros and cons

Pros: Unlimited staff seats and client profiles across all plans avoid account caps as a business grows.
Pros: Family Accounts connect dependent profiles to a parent-managed booking and payment account, a practical fit for youth programs.
Pros: Staff, client and kiosk apps are included on every plan, alongside a browser-based desktop portal.
Cons: Every listed plan requires a 12-month contract, limiting flexibility for seasonal or uncertain operations.
Cons: There is no free plan, and the 7-day trial is brief for evaluating a system that may need to support a full operating cycle.
Cons: API access and custom integrations are reserved for Premium, adding cost for businesses that need enterprise workflows.

Alternatives

TeamUp is worth considering for businesses whose pricing should track active customers: its plan for 101–200 active customers is 189.00 USD per month, and it also offers a Custom Branded App. Resovu is a lower-commitment option for small operations: its free plan allows 3 services, 45 bookings per month and 1 team member, with a card payment fee of 2,9 % + €0,15.

Waine Appointments may suit a solo operator looking for a free entry point, with one location, no staff accounts and unlimited appointments on its free plan. ClassWolf is an alternative for small course programs willing to work within a capped free tier: its Cub plan allows 3 courses, 3 disciplines, 3 teachers and 30 students, but excludes fee collection, reports, communications and online payments.

Momence is another paid option with custom pricing tailored to each business; contact sales for a quote. YogaCRM offers a free plan and a Solo Teacher plan for up to 1 team member with unlimited bookings and a 0% platform fee on online bookings. Arketa is a paid alternative with an Individual plan at 49.00 USD per month billed annually, plus a 3% transaction fee and Stripe fees. DANZ is another paid option, with DANZ Solo at 49.00 EUR per month excluding VAT and no monthly commitment.

Verdict

Pike13 is best for activity-based businesses that need robust scheduling, recurring billing and parent-managed family accounts, especially when unlimited staff and client accounts matter. Choose it for that integrated operating model and the option to add enterprise API access on Premium. Look elsewhere if a free plan, flexible monthly commitment or lower entry cost matters more than those capabilities.
