Overview

WellnessLiving is an operations and client-engagement platform for fitness and wellness businesses, from independent studios to multi-location gyms. It suits operators looking to bring scheduling, payments, staff and retention tools together; its strongest fit is a business that can use the broader suite rather than only basic appointment booking.

Its combination of client and staff apps, marketing tools and virtual services gives studios room to manage more of the customer relationship in one place. The key trade-offs are a one-staff limit on Starter and API access that requires approval.

Key features

Bookings and payments: Class and appointment booking, online booking, POS and card processing, and automated billing cover core studio workflows. That breadth can reduce the need to separate scheduling and payment operations, while the Starter seat limit makes it unsuitable for a team with multiple staff.
Forms and client records: Forms support intake, surveys, questionnaires and waivers, with signed documents stored on client profiles. This is useful for businesses that want client paperwork attached to their records rather than handled as a separate workflow.
Marketing and loyalty: Business adds email and text marketing, lead management, events and rewards. Those tools make the higher tier more relevant to studios actively managing acquisition and repeat visits, not just scheduling.
Apps and discovery: Achieve serves clients and Elevate serves staff. Custom-branded apps can be launched on Google Play and the App Store for iOS and Android. The Explorer business listing is included with a subscription and is intended to help prospective clients find and book services.
Virtual services: FitLIVE supports live virtual sessions, while FitVID provides customized on-demand video channels. These are useful additions for businesses offering services beyond in-person appointments.
Integrations and API: Official partners include Google Reserve, ClassPass, Wellhub, Zoom, Zapier, GoHighLevel, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, QuickBooks, Brivo and Spivi. API access requires approval and credentials arranged through an Account Executive, so teams that depend on self-serve API onboarding should account for that constraint.
Infrastructure and onboarding: WellnessLiving says it uses Amazon Web Services, strives for 99.9% uptime and follows PCI compliance protocols; it has also announced SOC 2 compliance covering security, availability and confidentiality controls. Plans include free onboarding with a dedicated specialist, a kickoff call and two one-hour training sessions.

Pricing

WellnessLiving is paid software, with a free plan for its Achieve client app. The business plans are billed annually, so the displayed monthly rates require an annual commitment.

Starter — $62.00 USD per month, billed annually: Includes one staff member, class and appointment booking, Achieve Client App, Elevate Staff App, POS and credit card processing, and free data migration. It is a practical entry point for a solo operator, but the one-person cap rules it out for even a small staffed studio.
Business — $35.00 USD per month, billed annually: Includes unlimited staff, rewards and loyalty, event scheduling, email and text marketing, and lead management. It is the more suitable choice for a team that needs those growth and retention tools. The plan also displays $179/mo and a promotion to save 80% for two months.
BusinessPro — $62.00 USD per month, billed annually: Includes everything in Business plus a white-label Achieve Client App. It fits businesses for which a branded client app is worth the added spend; its displayed comparison price is $314/mo, with a promotion to save 80% for two months.
Enterprise — custom pricing: Includes unlimited clients and unlimited staff. It is aimed at operations whose scale exceeds the lower tiers, though no other Enterprise inclusions are given.

Achieve Basic is free and includes no competitor ads, appointment and class booking, client reviews, rewards and loyalty, and digital signatures. It offers a no-cost client-facing option, but it is not a substitute for the paid business platform's operations and staffing features. Achieve White Label costs $209.00 USD per month, billed monthly, and includes dedicated app-store downloads, custom branding, client account registration, asset booking, event registration and push notifications. A free trial is available, but its length is not given.

Platforms

WellnessLiving supports Android, iOS and web. The mobile apps address both clients and staff, while custom-branded client apps are available for both major mobile platforms. Multi-location support is included, which makes the platform relevant beyond a single studio.

Who it's for

WellnessLiving is strongest for fitness and wellness operators that need scheduling, payments, client records and engagement tools under one roof, especially businesses with multiple locations or plans to add staff and marketing workflows. It is less compelling for a solo business seeking only simple booking, or for a technical team that needs immediate, self-service API credentials.

Pros and cons

Pro: Bookings, payments, staff operations, forms and client loyalty sit in one system, which can consolidate routine business work.
Pro: Multi-location support and unlimited staff on Business give growing teams a path beyond the single-staff Starter tier.
Pro: Virtual services, branded apps and a discovery listing extend the offering beyond in-person scheduling.
Con: Starter allows only one staff member, despite including core booking and payment functions.
Con: Business and BusinessPro display promotional prices alongside higher comparison rates, and both require annual billing at the stated monthly rate.
Con: API access depends on approval and an Account Executive, which adds friction for integrations built around direct API access.

Verdict

Choose WellnessLiving if a fitness or wellness business wants one system for operations, client engagement and virtual services, with multi-location support and room to add staff on Business. Look elsewhere if a one-person Starter seat is too restrictive or API access must be available without an approval process.
