Overview

Students can book through a public link at any time, choosing a service and available slot; front-desk staff can register walk-ins in the same system. That combination helps prevent double-booking across online and in-person demand. Businesses can set service duration, price and booking limits, while coaching batches can enforce participant caps.

The tutor-oriented presets cover one-to-one academic tutoring, exam preparation batches, trial classes and parent-teacher consultations. Confirmations can include calendar invitations with classroom details or video meeting links. These workflows make Pynath relevant to a tutoring practice that handles several appointment types, though calendar sync is one-way.

Key features

Self-booking and walk-ins: A 24/7 public booking link reduces the need to coordinate every appointment manually; recording front-desk visits in parallel addresses a common source of scheduling conflicts.
Lesson and class controls: Custom durations, pricing and booking limits accommodate varied services. Hard attendee limits are useful for keeping batches within a chosen size, and recurring lessons and group classes are supported.
Developer integrations: The developer portal offers a REST API, real-time webhooks and an MCP Server for AI-agent integrations, including Claude. That gives teams integration options beyond the booking interface.
Payments and data: Online payments are optional, with gateway fees of approximately 2% charged by the provider. Card and bank details are handled by PCI-DSS-compliant gateways rather than Pynath’s servers. Both plans include CSV and JSON customer-data export.
Security: Pynath states that web traffic uses HTTPS/TLS and application databases are encrypted at rest.

Pricing

Pynath uses a freemium model. The Free Plan costs 0.00 INR per free and allows 3 active services, 10 attendees per slot and a 7-day activity log. It includes a public booking link and QR code, CSV/JSON export and 0% platform commission. Those limits suit a solo provider starting online appointments, but the short log and small service and attendee caps constrain a growing schedule.

The Pro Plan is 9999.00 INR per year, billed ₹9,999/year. It raises the allowance to 2,000 bookings per month, 100 active services, 10 team member profiles, 100 attendees per slot and a one-year activity log, while retaining 0% platform commission. It is the stronger fit for a small team or a center running many services and larger batches. Organizations needing more than 10 staff accounts or dedicated SLA support must contact the team for custom pricing.

Optional online payments add standard gateway fees of approximately 2%; that charge comes from the payment provider, not as platform commission. The pricing note also gives a paid-from figure of $14.99/mo, alongside the Pro plan’s annual INR price.

Platforms

Pynath Booking is available on web and through an API. Its one-way calendar sync may be a limitation for teams that need changes in an external calendar to update the booking schedule.

Who it's for

Solo tutors, freelancers and small practices can start on Free; coaching centers that need multiple team profiles, more services or larger class capacities have a clearer case for Pro. The API, webhooks and MCP Server are relevant to teams that want to connect scheduling with other software or AI agents. Pynath is less suitable for organizations that require more than 10 staff accounts without a custom arrangement, or two-way calendar synchronization.

Pros and cons

Pros: Online appointments and walk-ins share scheduling workflows, helping avoid double-booking.
Pros: Free includes a public booking link, QR code, data export and 0% platform commission, giving solo providers a functional starting point.
Pros: Pro combines a 2,000-booking monthly quota with 10 team profiles and limits of up to 100 attendees per slot.
Cons: Free is capped at 3 active services, 10 attendees per slot and a 7-day activity log, so it may not stretch far for an established practice.
Cons: Pro is capped at 10 team member profiles; larger organizations and those needing dedicated SLA support must contact Pynath.
Cons: Calendar sync is one-way, and optional online payments carry gateway fees of approximately 2%.

Verdict

Pynath Booking is a sound fit for solo tutors and small coaching teams that need online self-booking, walk-in coordination and class-size controls in one scheduling workflow. Its free plan lowers the barrier to starting, and Pro adds substantial capacity without platform commission. Look elsewhere if two-way calendar sync is essential, or contact Pynath if your staff needs exceed 10 profiles or you require dedicated SLA support.
