Overview

Rayobyte brings proxy access together with scraping tools for teams collecting public web data across multiple workflows. It suits builders who want to combine proxy infrastructure with managed scraping or a self-hosted browser, though the right fit depends on each product’s traffic terms.

Its breadth is useful for varied collection needs, but it is not one uniform service: proxy plans and scraping products have distinct capabilities and limits.

Key features

Proxy networks and controls

Rayobyte offers residential, ISP, datacenter, and mobile proxy networks, with HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS5, SOCKS5 UDP, HTTP/3, and STUN support. Rotation is available in both forms, and relevant products support username-and-password authentication or IP whitelisting. The listed included bandwidth is 1 GB; buyers should not confuse that figure with individual plan traffic allowances.

Residential proxies include free city, region, or country targeting, sticky sessions, and unlimited threads and sessions. Rayobyte says its residential partners consent to participation, can restrict how their connections are used or opt out, and are compensated. Datacenter proxies have no thread or bandwidth limits, while static residential use is capped at 200 GB. That makes the datacenter option more predictable for high-volume work without a stated bandwidth ceiling; static residential users need to plan around its cap.

Scraping and browser tools

The Web Scraping API charges for successful scrapes and includes proxy and browser management, JavaScript rendering, and unlimited scalability. This bundles several operational pieces for teams that prefer an API workflow over managing them separately. Rayobyte also offers Web Unblocker and a self-hosted Chromium browser.

Browser integration documentation covers Playwright, Puppeteer, Scrapy, and OpenClaw, but not Selenium. Teams built around Selenium should look elsewhere or account for that gap before adopting the browser workflow.

Support

Support is available through tickets and email, with live-agent chat when an agent is available. Chat can be useful for immediate questions, but it is not presented as continuously staffed.

Pricing

Rayobyte uses a freemium model, with a free plan and free trial; the general paid starting point is $0.30. Proxy pricing spans several products, so buyers should match the traffic bracket and billing term to their workload.

Rotating Data Center Starter: 0.30 USD per month for 1–50 GB; a low-volume entry tier.
Rotating Data Center Personal: 0.28 USD per month for 51–150 GB, and Business: 0.25 USD per month for 151–350 GB. These lower per-month prices suit progressively larger traffic needs.
Rotating Data Center Corporate: 0.23 USD per month for 351–1000 GB. Enterprise covers 1000+ GB with custom pricing billed through sales.
ISP Rotating Starter: 3.75 USD per month for up to 15 GB; Personal: 3.50 USD per month for 15–50 GB; Consumer: 3.25 USD per month for 51–100 GB; and Professional: 3.00 USD per month for 101–250 GB.

Separate one-time Rotating Data Center IPs tiers are also listed: Corporate at 0.23 USD per once for 351–1000 GB, Business at 0.25 USD per once for 151–350 GB, and Personal at 0.28 USD per once for 51–150 GB. Their one-time billing distinguishes them from the monthly tiers; choose according to whether the intended traffic fits a single purchase or recurring use. No seat terms are stated for these plans.

The cheaper data-center tiers trade lower cost for smaller traffic ranges. Buyers needing more than 1000 GB must move to custom-priced Enterprise, while static residential users face a separate 200 GB cap. The Web Scraping API charges only for successful scrapes, but these proxy tier prices do not establish its cost.

Platforms

Rayobyte supports API, self-hosted, and web access. That mix gives teams options between programmatic integration, a locally managed browser, and browser-based product access.

Who it's for

Rayobyte is a strong fit for teams handling e-commerce extraction, AI development, ad verification, or SERP data analysis at volume, especially when they need both proxy access and scraping tools. Its API and protocol breadth suit varied stacks, while documented Playwright, Puppeteer, Scrapy, and OpenClaw integrations help teams using those tools. It is a weaker fit for Selenium-centered browser workflows or for buyers who need one clearly uniform traffic allowance across products.

Pros and cons

Pros: Residential targeting, sticky sessions, and unlimited threads and sessions give fine-grained routing control without a stated thread ceiling.
Pros: The Scraping API bundles proxy and browser management with JavaScript rendering and charges for successful scrapes.
Pros: Datacenter plans state no thread or bandwidth limits, and monthly tiers step down in price as traffic brackets rise.
Cons: Static residential usage is capped at 200 GB, so the uncapped datacenter terms do not apply across the proxy range.
Cons: Selenium is unsupported in the documented browser integrations, which rules out a direct fit for some existing stacks.
Cons: Enterprise datacenter pricing is custom, requiring a sales conversation for workloads above 1000 GB.

Decodo Residential Proxies is an option for buyers seeking a residential-proxy free trial and a 3 GB plan at 3.75 USD per month.
Bright Data Residential Proxies suits teams preferring usage-based Pay As You Go pricing at 4.00 USD per once with no commitment.
DataImpulse offers datacenter tiers at 5.00 USD per month for 10 GB, 50.00 USD per month for 100 GB, or 450.00 USD per month for 1 TB.
IPnivo Residential Proxies is an alternative for buyers seeking a residential-proxy free trial and API platform access.
Webshare is a freemium alternative with a free proxy server plan that includes 10 proxies and 1 GB monthly bandwidth.
Node4 Residential Proxies offers a free plan and residential traffic tiers beginning at 3 GB for 7.47 USD per month.
OctoProxy offers a residential trial/volume plan shown as free, with 100 threads and a 30-day duration.

Verdict

Choose Rayobyte if your team needs a broad proxy mix alongside scraping and browser-management options, and can work within product-specific traffic terms. Its strongest case is the combination of controls and an API that includes rendering and management while billing only successful scrapes. Look elsewhere if Selenium support is central to your stack, or if you need static residential traffic beyond its 200 GB cap.
