Overview

Focus Keeper pairs timed focus sessions with a task list and progress tracking. It suits people who want a record of work across devices, rather than a standalone countdown. Its automatic logging and synced history are useful strengths; the trade-off is that canceling a subscription does not refund the active billing cycle.

The service is web-based and supports Android, iOS, and macOS. Users can sign up for free, but premium features may require a subscription.

Key features

The timer’s default rhythm is 25 minutes of focus, a 5-minute short break, and a 25-minute long break. Custom intervals let users change that schedule, and breaks can start automatically. That flexibility suits people who want a familiar Pomodoro structure without manually managing every transition; those who need only a basic countdown may not benefit from the surrounding tracking tools.

A built-in task list puts planned work alongside the timer. Focus Keeper automatically logs work sessions and uses charts to show focus time and work patterns. It also describes tools for identifying focus patterns and tracking habits, which can help regular users review their routines rather than rely on memory. The value of that analytics layer depends on whether users revisit their history and act on it.

Tasks and sessions are saved automatically, and history can be accessed on any device. This supports switching between the web and mobile apps without losing continuity. The service may collect account details such as name, email, and password, as well as task details, session durations, custom settings, IP address, and browser activity. Users retain ownership of personal data, but permanently deleted data cannot be recovered. Focus Keeper says it takes reasonable measures to protect personal information while acknowledging that absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Pricing

Focus Keeper has a free plan and a freemium pricing model. The free signup makes it a low-commitment option for users who want to try the timer and task workflow, but premium features may involve subscription payments.

Subscriptions can be canceled at any time, with premium access continuing through the current billing period. The current cycle is nonrefundable, so canceling does not recover payment for unused time. That policy matters most to users who are unsure they will keep using the service or who expect prorated refunds.

Platforms

Focus Keeper covers web, Android, iOS, and macOS. Its cross-device history is a practical fit for people who move between desktop and mobile; it is not a fit for teams whose required platform is Windows or Linux.

Who it's for

Choose Focus Keeper if you want a configurable Pomodoro timer connected to tasks, automatic work logs, charts, and history that follows you between devices. It is less compelling if you want only a timer, need published premium pricing before evaluating the cost, or depend on a platform outside its stated coverage.

Pros and cons

Pro: Automatic session logging and cross-device history reduce manual tracking and keep work records accessible across platforms.
Pro: Custom intervals and auto-start breaks let users adapt the timer and automate transitions.
Con: Premium features may require a subscription, and the current billing cycle is nonrefundable after cancellation.
Con: The service may handle detailed account, task, usage, and browser data, while acknowledging it cannot guarantee absolute security.

Verdict

Focus Keeper is a sound choice for individuals who want a flexible Pomodoro routine tied to tasks, automatic logs, and cross-device history. Its clearest reason to choose it is that connected workflow; look elsewhere if you need a platform beyond web, Android, iOS, and macOS, or if you require clear premium pricing and refund terms before committing.
