Overview

The system combines a member database with tools for dues, events, bookings and email. Records can use custom fields, membership levels and tags; self-registration, QR code cards and a member portal add ways for members to interact with the organization. That makes Mybers a broader operational fit than a dues-only tool, particularly for groups that run recurring activities.

Mybers says organizations control their members' data and that it does not use customer data to train third-party foundation models. Its privacy policy describes encryption in transit and scoped access controls; it stores payment identifiers and amounts rather than full card numbers.

Key features

Member engagement and operations

Events can be in-person, virtual or hybrid, with ticket sales, registrations and check-ins. Recurring classes and appointments extend the product to studios and gyms, while automated dunning can help manage overdue payments. These capabilities suit organizations coordinating participation as well as membership, though they may be unnecessary overhead for teams seeking only a simple member directory.

Payments and email

Payments run through the organization's own Stripe account, with funds going directly to it. Self-serve plans charge a flat 1% on dues and 2% on class passes, so organizations should include those fees in their cost comparison, especially when class-pass volume is material. Email broadcasts support audience filters, merge fields, scheduling and delivery tracking, with CAN-SPAM-compliant unsubscribe links. The monthly email allowance, not member count, is the salient published capacity limit.

AI, integrations and developer access

Mynd includes an AI phone agent for inbound calls and renewal outreach, plain-English queries against member data, drafted communications and a setup assistant. These functions could help teams handle routine member interactions, but Pro is the plan that explicitly includes AI voice/SMS usage credits. The feature page names HubSpot, Mailchimp, Stripe, Slack, Zapier and QuickBooks; integrations may be self-serve, managed or custom depending on plan.

Developers get scoped API keys, a REST API and HMAC-signed webhooks. The key caveat is delivery: each webhook is sent once, with no automatic retry. A team that depends on event notifications should plan to handle missed deliveries rather than assume the platform will resend them.

Pricing

Mybers offers a free plan, paid plans from $39/mo, and a 14-day trial. Published plan prices are monthly, and payment methods are card.

Plan	Price	What it includes	Best fit
Starter	0.00 USD per free; free forever	Unlimited members; 500 emails/mo	Small groups testing the workflow or operating within a modest email allowance.
Club	39.00 USD per month	Unlimited members; 5,000 emails/mo; 1% on dues; 2% on class passes	Organizations needing more email capacity and the core paid membership toolkit.
Pro	79.00 USD per month	Unlimited members; 10,000 emails/mo; 1% on dues; AI voice/SMS usage credits; 2% on class passes	Teams with heavier email needs or a reason to use voice and SMS AI credits.
Enterprise	Custom pricing	Unlimited members	Organizations considering a tailored arrangement.

Starter's lack of a member cap is generous for a free tier, but 500 emails a month can constrain regular outreach. Club raises that allowance fivefold; Pro doubles it again and adds AI voice/SMS credits. Both self-serve paid plans retain the stated transaction fees, so the upgrade decision is not just about email volume. Branded organization apps start at Club; installations from the browser are available on iOS, Android and desktop without an app store.

Platforms

Mybers supports web, iOS, Android and API access. Browser-installed use avoids an app-store install for members, while branded organization apps are included on Club and above.

Who it's for

The company describes an initial audience of small to mid-sized associations with 50–5,000 members, and also names gyms, nonprofits, clubs, congregations and other member groups. Unlimited member counts across the published plans make the email quota a more immediate constraint for growing organizations. Groups that need branded apps, significant email volume or AI voice/SMS credits should compare the paid tiers against their actual use; teams that prioritize reliable automatic webhook retries should look elsewhere or build their own recovery process.

Pros and cons

Pros

Unlimited members on the free and paid plans avoid per-member plan ceilings.
Member records, events, classes, payments and email sit together, which suits organizations running activities as well as collecting dues.
API keys, REST access and signed webhooks give developers integration options.
Migration supports imports from other platforms or CSV with field mapping, a dry-run preview and one-click undo within 24 hours.

Cons

Free Starter is capped at 500 emails per month, making outreach volume a likely reason to upgrade.
Self-serve plans charge 1% on dues and 2% on class passes, adding variable costs to payment processing.
Webhooks are delivered once without automatic retry, creating recovery work for integrations that cannot miss events.
Integration modes vary by plan, so teams should confirm whether their required connection is self-serve, managed or custom.

Alternatives

Choose Intavera if its free Starter tier's limit of 100 members, events and RSVPs, member directory and email support better match a small group than Mybers' broader feature set. GatherAMS is worth comparing for organizations willing to pay for a Club plan at $45.00 USD per month billed yearly, with up to 250 contacts, unlimited admins, live chat and any processor.

WildApricot is another paid option, with a 100 Contacts plan at $66.00 USD per month on monthly billing, for organizations that prefer a contact-sized starting tier. Consider membermojo if a 100-member plan at 50.00 GBP per year, with prices inclusive of VAT, is a better fit for a smaller group.

MembershipWorks offers a free tier capped at 50 accounts and a plan for up to 300 accounts at $35.00 USD per month, useful when account-based limits suit the organization. Paid Memberships Pro is the alternative to consider for a self-hosted option whose core plugin and Add Ons are open source under GPLv2 and can run on as many sites as desired.

ChamberedIn is another option to evaluate for organizations comparing membership platforms. Associatify is worth a look for teams comparing web-based freemium alternatives.

Verdict

Mybers is a strong fit for small and mid-sized member organizations that want one system for records, dues, programming and communications, especially if unlimited member counts and API access matter. Its main draw is the breadth of that toolkit; its main cautions are the email ceilings, percentage fees and one-shot webhook delivery. Choose it when those trade-offs suit the workflow, and look elsewhere if dependable automatic webhook retries or a lower variable payment cost is central.
