Overview

Futureworks connects strategic priorities to goals owned across departments, teams and individuals. Its 360 Vision tree makes those links visible, while filters and alignment status help teams inspect how goals relate to the wider strategy. Check-ins, progress reviews, reporting dashboards, cascading goals and advanced permissions extend the platform beyond setting objectives into ongoing oversight.

The combination is most useful when leaders need to trace execution across organizational layers. Teams with simpler planning needs may find the same breadth adds structure they do not need.

Key features

Strategy alignment

The 360 Vision tree maps how strategic priorities connect to departmental, team and individual goals. Filters and alignment status support review of those connections, making the approach a fit for organizations where accountability crosses multiple levels.

From strategy documents to OKRs

The AI Context Engine turns uploaded PowerPoint, Word or PDF strategy documents into actionable OKRs. This can help teams move from written plans to trackable objectives, though it does not replace the need to decide which goals best express the strategy.

Structured meetings

Meeting Mode combines templates and timed agenda items with a Good News round, OKR status updates and action tracking. It gives teams a defined way to bring progress and follow-up into meetings rather than treating objectives as a separate planning exercise.

Integrations, access and security

Integrations include Jira, GitHub, Microsoft Planner, Azure DevOps, Google and Microsoft SSO, Microsoft Teams, SCIM 2.0, webhooks and a REST API. Slack is listed as an integration, but Slack reminders are coming soon, so teams relying on that workflow should not assume reminders are ready.

Futureworks says integration tokens are encrypted, permissions are scoped, and data is encrypted at rest and in transit. GDPR compliance, SSO support, SCIM provisioning and role-based OKR permissions address access and administration needs in larger or more accountable organizations.

Pricing

Futureworks offers free access for 1–5 users without a credit card, as well as a 30-day trial. Paid pricing is billed annually and excludes VAT; the per-user monthly rate falls as the seat tier grows:

1–25 users: 15.00 EUR per month, billed annually.
26–50 users: 13.00 EUR per month, billed annually.
51–100 users: 11.00 EUR per month, billed annually.
101–200 users: 9.00 EUR per month, billed annually.

More than 200 seats require custom pricing. The free access is a useful way for very small groups to start without payment details, while organizations above five users move to annual paid pricing. The listed plans include 25 users, and the sliding rate makes larger deployments less expensive per user, but the annual billing term and VAT exclusion matter when budgeting.

Platforms

Futureworks supports web, iOS and Android, plus an API. Users can check in and update progress from either mobile platform, while the REST API supports custom integrations. That combination suits distributed teams that need mobile updates or want to connect the platform to an existing stack.

Who it's for

Futureworks is a strong fit for Nordic organizations and public institutions that need to connect strategic priorities to execution across a complex accountability structure. Teams that already work through meetings, reviews and layered goals can use its alignment and tracking features together. A small team seeking only basic OKR tracking, or an organization that depends on Slack reminders, should consider whether the added structure and current integration limitation fit its workflow.

Pros and cons

Pro: The 360 Vision tree connects priorities to goals across organizational levels, supporting oversight where accountability is distributed.
Pro: Document-based OKR creation and Meeting Mode link strategy work to goal tracking and meeting follow-up.
Pro: Mobile check-ins, REST API access, SSO and SCIM support both distributed use and administrative integration.
Con: Slack reminders are coming soon, which leaves a gap for teams that expect reminder workflows through Slack.
Con: The paid tiers are billed annually and exclude VAT, a consideration for teams moving beyond the 1–5-user free access.

Alternatives

OKR Software is the broader category to compare if you want to survey more options before choosing a platform.

ROKR suits a small team looking for a free web and API option: its free plan covers 5 users, 1 team, 5,000 API calls per month, goals, key results, check-ins and social login.
Devokr is worth considering for teams wanting a free, self-hosted-capable option; its Starter plan is free forever for up to 10 users and 5 teams, with unlimited OKRs and core OKR, feedback, meetings and c.
Operately offers a free plan for up to 10 users with 10 GB storage, core features and community support, making it an option for teams prioritizing a free, self-hosted-capable platform.
Perdoo may fit teams that want a free plan for up to 5 users with strategy maps, OKR and KPI tracking, meetings, Slack and Teams integrations, and an AI assistant and coach.
Weekdone is an option for teams of up to 3 users that want its free plan, which includes full features and lists live chat and OKR coaching/support.
Workpath is another paid option with a custom modular enterprise plan; its minimum contract is one year and pricing depends on modules, license types and volumes.
Oboard is a paid alternative without a free plan; its Essential monthly plan is 325.00 USD per month for the 51–100-user tier and includes unlimited objectives and key results, multiple key result types and private objectives and key results.
Tability is an option for teams seeking a paid platform with a free trial; its Basic plan is listed at 6.00 USD per year, billed yearly, with OKRs and check-ins, a strategy map, initiatives and dependencies, and Slack, Teams, Jira and Linear integrations.
