Overview

GloriaFood combines online ordering for delivery, takeaway and dine-in with table reservations and pre-ordering. It is aimed at restaurants, coffee shops and food trucks that need a broad set of ordering channels without a recurring platform fee.

Its open-ended free plan is compelling for operators keeping costs down, but the scheduled end of life makes it difficult to recommend as the foundation for a new long-term system.

Key features

Ordering and reservations

The free service plan covers website and mobile ordering, QR code ordering, scheduled orders, table reservations, reports, promotions and third-party integrations. Restaurants can share smart ordering links through Google Business Profile, Yelp, TripAdvisor, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. That gives customers several routes to an order without requiring a separate ordering setup for each channel.

The iOS and Android order-taking app lets staff accept orders and bookings, mark items out of stock, pause services and print accepted orders with a thermal printer. These shift-level controls are useful when a kitchen runs out of an item or needs to stop taking orders temporarily. Unlimited orders and locations, with no commission per order, remove common cost and scale limits from the free tier.

Integrations, payments and APIs

GloriaFood lists POS and delivery integrations including Clover, Focus, Wolt, Lightspeed and Shipday. Its Food Order API returns order details after a manager accepts an order, while the menu API provides the latest restaurant menu to third-party systems. These interfaces can help teams connect ordering data and menus to other systems, though the order API's accepted-order condition is a meaningful boundary for workflows that need earlier order data.

Online payments are an optional paid service that connects GloriaFood to a payment gateway, with funds going directly to the restaurant's account. That suits operators who want online payment without routing proceeds through the platform. GloriaFood's terms put password and account protection on the user and instruct users to report unauthorized use to Oracle.

Pricing

GloriaFood uses a freemium model. The Free service plan costs 0.00 USD per free and includes unlimited orders, unlimited locations, no commission per order and no monthly fee, as well as the ordering, booking and promotional features described above. For a small operator or a multi-location business testing direct ordering, that is a strong cost structure; the tradeoff is the platform's April 30, 2027 end-of-life date.

Restaurant POS System: 49.00 USD per month, billed per location, with a 2-year commitment and a free POS starter kit. This is the paid option for restaurants seeking the POS system, but the per-location charge and long commitment raise the cost of changing course.
Online / Credit Card Payment Service: 29.00 USD per month. It enables online payments that go directly into the restaurant's account, a fit for operators who need that payment path.
Table Reservation Deposits: 0.50 USD per month, billed only for accepted bookings. It adds reservation deposits while tying charges to bookings the restaurant accepts.
Advanced Promo Marketing: 19.00 USD per month, adding client segmentation and target profiling across multiple promotions. It is aimed at businesses that need more targeted promotion than the free plan provides.

The listed price for the POS system is per location and carries a two-year term; the other paid services have monthly prices. The free plan's lack of order and location caps is unusual, but it does not offset the finite support horizon for new adopters.

Platforms

GloriaFood supports Android, iOS, web and API access. The combination covers staff mobile order handling, browser-based ordering and integration work for teams connecting restaurant systems.

Who it's for

GloriaFood is a fit for independent restaurants, coffee shops and food trucks that want to offer delivery, takeaway or dine-in ordering alongside reservations. It is particularly attractive where avoiding per-order charges and monthly fees matters more than committing to a platform with a long future runway. Teams making a durable stack decision should weigh the end-of-life date heavily.

Pros and cons

Pro: The free plan includes unlimited orders and locations without a monthly fee or order commission, so growth does not trigger a volume-based platform charge.
Pro: Website, social-link, QR and mobile ordering are paired with bookings and scheduled orders, giving smaller operators several customer entry points.
Pro: The menu and food order APIs, plus named POS and delivery integrations, offer routes into existing systems.
Con: The April 30, 2027 end of life and support cutoff make it a risky choice for a new long-lived deployment.
Con: The POS system requires a two-year commitment and is billed per location, limiting flexibility for operators with multiple sites.

Alternatives

For a free option with explicit menu and location caps, Quiteful offers a Free plan at 0.00 GBP per month with 20 active items, one menu and one location, but no analytics dashboard or POS integrations. Choose it when those limits are acceptable and its free trial or API, iOS and web coverage suits the stack.

WowMenu is a paid option with a free trial and a Menu plan at 79.00 USD per month for up to 20 tables, 500 AI sessions per month and one branch. It is a possible alternative for a business comfortable with a paid plan and those stated caps.

RestioX offers a free trial package with 100 dishes, 10 categories, 100 delivery orders per month, two staff members, one branch and 100 MB of storage. Consider it when a capped trial package is preferable to GloriaFood's unlimited free order and location allowance.

UpMenu Delivery is a paid alternative whose Delivery POS plan costs 29.00 USD per month and includes order management, POS and kitchen integration, and delivery dispatching. It may suit teams prioritizing those delivery operations in a paid package.

Deliverect Dispatch is another API-based, paid alternative.

Fee Free Ordering has a free Core ordering platform capped at 100 orders per month and a Custom Domain plan at 9.99 USD per month. Pick it when a custom domain is worth a low monthly charge and the free order ceiling is sufficient.

Ordering.Tools has a Free plan at 0.00 EUR per free, capped at 20 orders per month, with no commission and usage limits on AI assistant questions and AI voice calls. It is a narrower-volume alternative for operators who can work within that monthly order cap.

Prestau Menu Author offers a free plan and a Standard Plan at 49.00 USD per month per restaurant, with order management, POS integration, day-parting, advanced scheduling, time travel and priority support. It is worth considering when those menu-authoring and operational additions justify a paid per-restaurant plan.

Verdict

GloriaFood is best for restaurants and food businesses that need ordering, bookings and API access at no monthly fee or per-order commission. Its broad free plan is the central reason to choose it; the scheduled April 30, 2027 end of life is the central reason to look elsewhere when selecting a system for the long term.
