Overview

One account can connect an employer with schools across a network of more than 500 institutions, letting recruiters post to selected schools or broadly across the network. Global Search surfaces opted-in students and recent graduates through filters including major, degree, graduation date, and school. That makes the product particularly relevant when campus recruiting is a recurring program rather than an occasional vacancy.

Recruiters can also manage information sessions, career fairs, employer events, and on-campus interview schedules. The tradeoff is that school connections and posts may require verification or approval; the process can take up to five days, usually less. Posts are designed to run for 30 days, may receive a seven-day review grace period, and can be extended by 15 days for a fee.

Key features

Candidate reach and sourcing

Global Search gives recruiters a way to find opted-in early-career candidates using meaningful academic filters, rather than relying only on inbound applications. Smart Invites adds AI sourcing with job postings sent to five or more schools at no additional cost. Starter includes up to five recommended candidates per post, Pro raises that to 25, and Premium to 100; the increasing caps make the higher plans more compelling for teams that want recommendations at scale.

Events, branding, and integrations

Event management and interview scheduling cover key campus recruiting logistics in the same platform as job posting. Employer profiles and posts can use video, images, social links, and other branded content, but enhanced branding costs extra outside the Premium package. Premium includes integrations with select applicant tracking systems. Public APIs support on-campus interview data flowing to ATS platforms and jobs flowing into Recruit, a useful fit for teams coordinating these workflows with existing systems.

Symplicity says its security program is independently audited and certified, including ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II. For support, it recommends filing an issue through the Help Center after logging in when possible.

Pricing

The pricing model is freemium, with a free plan and paid options. The free account includes unlimited school connection requests, a company profile, career fair access, interview scheduling, event management, and limited resume database access. It is a sensible way to establish school connections and organize campus activity, but limited resume access makes it less suited to employers depending on active candidate sourcing.

Starter: 55.00 USD per once, billed per job post per school when targeting 1–4 schools. Employers can buy individual posts or prepaid job packs; Smart Invites is included for postings to five or more schools, and each post gets up to five recommended candidates. Enhanced branding costs extra. This suits selective hiring at a small number of schools, but per-school billing can add up as reach expands.
Pro: 329.00 USD per month, starting at that monthly price. It includes one standard job post per month to up to 10 schools, 100 resume downloads, 50 direct student messages, and up to 25 recommended candidates per post. This is a clearer fit for a steady campus program that needs direct outreach and a defined monthly posting allowance; teams needing more than one standard post monthly should weigh that cap carefully.
Premium: custom pricing for a customized annual subscription. It includes 25+ enhanced job posts to 100+ schools, unlimited Global Search, 6,000+ direct messages, up to 100 recommended candidates per post, analytics, team collaboration, dedicated account management, and select ATS integrations. Its reach and collaboration tools target larger, sustained programs, but the annual commitment and custom pricing call for a clear enterprise need.

A free trial is offered. School approvals can affect timing across plans, and the post extension is a separate purchase.

Platforms

Symplicity Recruit supports web and API access. The API coverage is specific to jobs flowing into Recruit and on-campus interview data flowing to ATS platforms, rather than a claim of broad integration coverage.

Who it's for

It fits small teams testing school-based hiring through the free account or occasional Starter posts, and employers with repeat early-talent needs who can use Pro's monthly posting and outreach allotments. Premium is more appropriate for large programs spanning many schools that need extensive search, messaging, analytics, and team coordination. It is a weaker fit for employers seeking guaranteed posting speed or enhanced branding without added cost.

Pros and cons

Pro: A single account reaches a network of more than 500 institutions, supporting both focused and broad school targeting.
Pro: Campus events, interview scheduling, job posting, and student search address several connected early-talent workflows.
Pro: Smart Invites is included at no additional cost when postings target five or more schools.
Con: School verification and post approvals can delay campaigns, with the process taking up to five days.
Con: Starter's per-post, per-school billing and extra branding fee make wider reach and polished posts less predictable in cost.
Con: Pro is capped at one standard post monthly, while the broader Premium package has custom pricing and an annual subscription.

Alternatives

For a broader comparison of Campus Recruiting Software or Recruiting Events Software, compare tools against the mix of school reach and event coordination your program needs.

GradLeaders is a paid alternative with Android, iOS, API, and web platforms; consider it if mobile access is a priority.
Handshake offers a free Basic plan with 10 messages monthly, a simple company presence, and limited talent matching of 100 matches per job, plus a $450.00 USD per month Pro plan. Choose it if that free matching-and-messaging allowance or its mobile apps suit your program better.
JobTeaser has a free plan with regional job-ad and institution caps over twelve months, and web access. It may suit teams comfortable with those bounded posting allowances.
PakkaPlacement is a free web option for companies and recruiters with job posting, talent search, aptitude tests, direct offers, and Google Meet interviews; it is worth considering when those tools meet the need without a paid plan.
Flarebox offers a free-forever plan with three AI mock interview sessions and three AI practice tests monthly, along with career-preparation tools. It is oriented toward candidate practice rather than employer campus recruiting.
RippleMatch has a free candidate network and custom-priced employer subscriptions; consider it if a quote-based employer subscription is preferable.
TPO Bridge is a free mobile and web option with unlimited job posts and campus drives and no subscription or per-post charges; it may suit teams prioritizing uncapped posting without those charges.
Rakuna offers event-oriented pricing options; consider it if event-focused recruiting is the priority.

Verdict

Symplicity Recruit is a strong choice for employers building a repeatable student and recent-graduate hiring program across connected schools, especially when event operations and candidate search belong in the same workflow. Its school network and event tools are the main reasons to choose it; approval delays, posting caps, and extra branding costs are reasons to look elsewhere if campaigns require fast, predictable execution.
