Overview

HProxy brings four proxy network types together with a REST scraper API. It says its network contains more than 30 million IPs, and supports HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, with rotating and sticky IP options. That breadth is useful when a team needs to match proxy type to task without splitting its account across providers.

Products draw from a shared prepaid balance, with no subscription and no expiry. That is friendlier to intermittent workloads than a recurring commitment, though pay-as-you-go billing and per-IP rates still require attention to usage. A live public proxy list, checker and IP lookup are available without an account, offering practical utilities before purchase.

Key features

Proxy range and scraper API

Residential Lite covers more than 200 countries and over 4 million residential IPs. Residential Premium adds sticky sessions from three minutes to 24 hours, 150 IP whitelist addresses and a 30-day statistics window. Premium Classic supports sessions up to seven days, but is kept on sale by request, making it a less straightforward choice for teams that want a standard offering.

Rotating ISP proxies provide a fresh ISP IP per request, country targeting and HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5 support. Static ISP and IPv4 options include unlimited bandwidth, while mobile proxies have a one-gigabyte minimum and sticky sessions up to seven days. These distinctions let buyers prioritize rotation, persistence or bandwidth, but the advertised starting rates should not be mistaken for a uniform price across countries and periods.

The scraper API returns structured JSON from REST calls and includes proxies, retries and parsing. HProxy describes 23 platforms and 116 documented endpoints for its web scraper offering. This integrated route is appealing when a team wants the response handling and proxy layer together rather than assembling those parts separately.

Setup, support and compliance

Setup guides cover Python Requests, cURL, Selenium, Playwright, Puppeteer, Scrapy and Axios, as well as browser extensions and tools including AdsPower, Multilogin, GoLogin, Dolphin Anty and Kameleo. The range is useful across common scraping and browser-automation stacks. The pricing page says the team replies the same day, and API setup help is available at support@hproxy.com.

HProxy identifies web scraping, market research and ad verification as use cases, while prohibiting activity such as unauthorized access, credential stuffing, payment fraud, mass fake-account creation, spam and denial-of-service. Card payments are screened before delivery; identity documents may be requested after a fraud signal or where legally required. HProxy says those documents are encrypted with AES-256-GCM and deleted 90 days after review.

Pricing

HProxy uses a paid model with a free plan and a published starting point of $0.10. Products are funded from the shared balance rather than a subscription. The listed plan rates are:

IPv6 Proxies: 0.10 USD per month, per-IP prices vary by country and period; unlimited bandwidth and up to 1 Gbps port speed. Best for buyers whose target workloads suit IPv6 and who want bandwidth without a stated cap.
IPv4 Proxies: 1.34 USD per month, with per-IP prices depending on country and period; unlimited bandwidth and up to 1 Gbps. This is the IPv4 option, but its country- and period-dependent rate needs checking against the intended deployment.
Residential Lite: 0.50 USD per month, pay as you go; rates reach $0.44/GB at 2,000+ GB. Its 200+ countries and 4M+ residential IPs make it the broad entry point, while the lowest volume rate requires substantial usage.
Residential Premium: 1.49 USD per month, with volume rates reaching $1.00/GB at 1,000+ GB. It suits users who need the stated session controls, whitelist capacity and statistics window; the volume rate is tied to high consumption.
Residential Premium Classic: 1.49 USD per month, with sticky sessions up to seven days. It is the continuity-focused option, but is sold by request rather than as a regular plan.
ISP Proxies Rotating: 0.65 USD per month, no subscription. A fresh ISP IP on every request, country targeting and three supported protocols favor rotation without a recurring commitment.
ISP Proxies Static: 2.50 USD per month, with per-IP prices depending on country and period and unlimited bandwidth. It suits persistent ISP access, with the same need to verify the applicable per-IP rate.
Mobile Proxies: 1.50 USD per month, pay as you go, with a 1 GB minimum and sessions up to seven days. The minimum makes it less suitable for very small trials.
Web Scrapers: 1.49 USD per month, pay per successful call from the prepaid balance; the plan includes 1,000 successful calls, 23 platforms and 116 documented endpoints. It is the clearest fit for teams buying structured scraping calls rather than proxy access alone.

Because these plans mix per-IP pricing, volume rates, usage billing and a mobile minimum, buyers should choose on the basis of their actual traffic pattern rather than the headline starting figure.

Platforms

HProxy supports API, extension, iOS, web and Windows. Its setup guides span browser automation, scripting libraries, browsers and proxy-management tools, so it can fit a range of existing workflows without requiring a single client environment.

Who it's for

HProxy is best suited to developers and teams running scraping, market research or ad-verification workflows that may need more than one proxy type, or want structured scraper responses from the same prepaid account. The non-expiring balance is particularly useful when demand is irregular. Teams with highly predictable usage should still compare their expected volume against the applicable country rates, volume thresholds and minimums; those needing a narrowly defined free quota should confirm whether the free plan fits before relying on it.

Pros and cons

Pro: One non-expiring prepaid balance covers products without a subscription, which reduces commitment for uneven workloads.
Pro: Four proxy network types, both rotation and sticky options, and three protocols give buyers meaningful ways to fit access to a task.
Pro: The REST scraper API combines proxies, retries and parsing, and documents coverage across 23 platforms and 116 endpoints.
Pro: Public proxy-checking and IP lookup tools work without an account, and setup guides cover common developer and browser-automation tools.
Con: Several plan prices are qualified by country, period, volume or minimum usage, so the starting rate alone is a weak budgeting basis.
Con: Residential Premium Classic is request-only, limiting its predictability as a standard purchase option.
Con: Payment screening can lead to identity-document requests, a material consideration for teams with strict onboarding or data-handling requirements.

Alternatives

For a wider comparison of proxy vendors, see Proxy Software or the focused Residential Proxy Services directory.

Webshare is an alternative with a free proxy server offering 10 proxies and 1 GB monthly bandwidth, for teams that value a defined free allowance.
Bright Data Browser API may suit teams focused on browser API access, with a free tier of 5K credits and 1GB monthly, plus pay-as-you-go pricing at $8/GB.
Decodo SERP Scraping API is a SERP-oriented alternative, with a 49.00 USD per month plan and stated request allowances for standard and premium proxy modes.
DataImpulse offers datacenter plans beginning at 5.00 USD per month for 10 GB for new users, then 50.00 USD for 100 GB and 450.00 USD for 1 TB; it may suit teams comparing defined traffic tiers.
IPRoyal is another paid proxy provider for teams weighing a separate provider option.
Proxy-Cheap is another paid proxy provider for teams comparing monthly residential plans.
ProxyEmpire is an alternative with a free trial and rotating residential plans, including a 1 GB pay-as-you-go option.

Verdict

Choose HProxy if your team needs several proxy types, an integrated scraper API and prepaid spending that does not expire. Its breadth and flexible balance are compelling for varied or intermittent workloads. Look elsewhere if your priority is a simple, predictable quota or if payment screening and possible identity checks do not fit your operating requirements.
