Overview

Hubble brings study planning, participant recruitment, research and analysis into one workspace for UX teams. It is best suited to teams combining prototype research with feedback from their own products. Its breadth is a strength, but the Free plan’s response and seat limits make it a sampler rather than a broad team plan.

Key features

Researchers can choose among unmoderated and AI-moderated research, moderated studies, surveys, in-product surveys, and diary and concept studies. In unmoderated tests, participants complete tasks on their own time using a prototype or live website, leaving recordings and feedback for researchers to review. That asynchronous setup avoids scheduling every participant, while moderated studies serve work that calls for a researcher-led session.

Hubble’s AI can tag interview transcripts, surface recurring themes and synthesize findings across interviews. Hubble MCP can assist with study creation, interviews and feedback analysis, while users approve each change or suggestion during research planning. These capabilities support work from planning through synthesis, but the plan allowances differ: Free includes AI study generation and rephrasing, Pro includes one AI report per month, and Enterprise includes unlimited AI reports.

Recruitment features include screening questions, scheduling, consent-document sharing and incentives through Tremendous or participant credits. Hubble names Respondent, User Interviews and Cint as panel providers, with Prolific coming soon. Figma integration supports prototype research. For product feedback, the JavaScript Web SDK can embed surveys, target users by attributes and trigger surveys from tracked events; web and mobile SDKs can also embed survey modals and collect responses.

Hubble states that it is SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA and GDPR compliant. Enterprise adds Okta or Microsoft Enterprise SAML SSO and role-based access control. Developers can turn to the community Slack group for additional support.

Pricing

The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and provides one seat, 10 responses per month, one prototype per study, AI study generation and rephrasing, Figma integration and research templates. It is useful for an individual evaluating the workflow, but 10 monthly responses and a single seat constrain ongoing or collaborative research.

Pro costs 120.00 USD per month, billed per seat per month billed monthly. It includes 100 responses per month, up to three seats at $120 each, one prototype per study, video and audio recording, a custom question bank and one AI report per month. The higher response allowance and recordings make it more practical for regular studies, but seat-based billing reaches $360 monthly at three seats, and the one-prototype and one-report limits remain relevant.

Enterprise has custom pricing, with custom seats and responses, moderated studies, custom templates, unlimited AI reports, participant panel access, SSO, role-based access control and enterprise security documents. It fits organizations needing those access controls or tailored capacity; teams should weigh custom pricing against Pro’s defined seat and response allowances.

Platforms

Hubble supports Android, iOS, web and API. Its documented SDKs make in-product survey collection relevant to teams that want to gather feedback inside web or mobile products, rather than relying only on standalone studies.

Who it's for

Hubble is a strong fit for UX teams that want recruitment, planning, prototype and live-site research, in-product surveys and AI-assisted analysis in one workspace. Teams with a small response volume can start on Free; teams running regular studies should consider Pro’s per-seat cost and monthly response ceiling. Organizations that need SSO, role-based access or custom capacity are better matched to Enterprise. It is less compelling for teams that need more responses or seats at a lower predictable cost.

Pros and cons

Pros: Multiple study formats, participant recruitment tools and analysis sit in one workspace, supporting a range of research workflows.
Pros: Web and mobile SDKs can bring surveys into a product and trigger collection based on tracked events or user attributes.
Pros: Enterprise includes SSO and role-based access control for organizations that need those controls.
Cons: Free is limited to one seat and 10 responses per month, restricting team use and study volume.
Cons: Pro’s 120.00 USD per month price is per seat, with a maximum of three seats and 100 responses per month.
Cons: Pro limits users to one prototype per study and one AI report per month; unlimited reports require Enterprise.

Alternatives

Usability Testing Software is a useful starting point for comparing options in the broader category.

Maze is another freemium option with a free trial and Android, API, iOS and web support; consider it when you want to compare a different plan structure.
QuestionPunk offers a free-forever Basic plan with 20 responses per month, AI interviews and follow-ups, templates, report export and community support. Choose it if those features and a higher stated free response allowance suit your needs.
User Interviews is a paid option for teams focused on recruitment, with Recruit Essential priced at 41.00 USD per year and session-based terms. Consider it when participant recruitment is the main requirement.
Lyssna has a Free plan with three seats, unlimited quick studies and 15 self-recruited test and survey responses. It may suit teams prioritizing quick studies and self-recruitment on a free plan.
Trymata offers a no-subscription PayGO plan where users buy test credits as needed and results are stored for up to six months. Consider it when a pay-as-needed testing model is preferable.
Userfeel has a Free plan with three credits per month, one admin and support for bringing your own tester. It may fit occasional studies with an existing participant source.
UXArmy offers a Free plan with one full seat and 15 monthly credits, but no recordings or participant panel. Consider it if those omissions are acceptable for a small research workflow.
UXtweak has a Free plan with all research tools subject to limitations, one active study at a time, 15 responses per month and 14 days of results access. It may suit users whose priority is trying different research tools within those limits.

Verdict

Choose Hubble if your UX team wants a single workspace for recruiting, varied studies, in-product feedback and AI-assisted synthesis. Its breadth and SDK support are the main reasons to choose it; the main reason to look elsewhere is the cost and response ceiling once multiple seats or regular research are involved. Free is suitable for a limited individual trial, Pro for teams that can work within its per-seat and monthly caps, and Enterprise for organizations needing custom capacity or access controls.
