Overview

Immersity AI is a focused image-to-video service, not a broad text-to-video generator. That focus is useful when a workflow starts with still images and needs motion, while API access gives teams a way to connect conversions to other software. The free tier can support non-commercial experimentation, but its watermark and 720p ceiling rule it out for polished commercial output.

Key features

Image-to-video conversion: The service animates existing images, which suits teams working from product photography, artwork, or other still assets. It is less suitable when the starting point is a text prompt rather than an image.
Resolution up to 4K: Paid plans allow conversion up to 4K, compared with a maximum of 720p on Free. The higher ceiling is useful for output where resolution matters, but it does not remove the need to manage credits.
API access: An API makes Immersity AI relevant to teams integrating image animation into a software workflow rather than treating it only as a standalone creative tool.
Commercial-use separation: Paid plans include commercial use and remove watermarks. Free conversions are watermarked and non-commercial, so the free tier is best treated as a preview route.

Pricing

Immersity AI is freemium. Free costs 0.00 USD per free, billed monthly, and provides unlimited watermarked conversions up to 720p for non-commercial use. “Unlimited” removes a stated conversion quota, but not the watermark, resolution cap, or usage restriction; it is not a substitute for a paid production plan.

All paid plans are billed monthly and include no watermarking, conversion up to 4K, and commercial use. The difference is the monthly conversion-credit allowance:

Image: 4.99 USD per month for 500 credits. The entry paid tier is the lowest-cost way to get commercial rights and 4K conversion, but its smaller allowance makes it a better fit for occasional work than sustained high volume.
Image Pro: 14.99 USD per month for 1,700 credits. It offers over three times the Image plan’s quota for teams with more regular image-animation needs.
Video: 24.99 USD per month for 3,300 credits. This is a middle tier for workloads that have outgrown the smaller monthly allowances.
Video Pro: 49.99 USD per month for 7,500 credits. It suits higher-volume use where the lower tiers’ quotas would be restrictive.
Video Max: 99.99 USD per month for 20,000 credits. It provides the largest stated allowance and is the relevant tier for substantial monthly conversion volume, at a markedly higher monthly commitment.

The plans distinguish volume rather than commercial rights or maximum resolution: all paid tiers share those terms. Buyers should estimate how many conversions their work requires before moving up the ladder, since the plan descriptions provide credit totals rather than a fixed number of conversions.

Platforms

Immersity AI is available as an API. That makes it a natural candidate for programmatic workflows, though teams seeking a documented web or mobile app should not assume those platforms are included.

Who it's for

Immersity AI is strongest for creators, agencies, and product teams that already have still images and want to turn them into video, especially when API integration matters. It also works for commercial users who can pick a monthly allowance aligned with their expected conversion volume. It is a weaker fit for text-first video creation, or for users who need commercial output but cannot accept a recurring paid plan.

Pros and cons

Pro: Paid plans combine 4K conversion, watermark-free output, and commercial use, so the least expensive paid tier can cover core production rights.
Pro: API access gives software teams an integration path beyond a standalone conversion workflow.
Con: Free use is limited to non-commercial, watermarked output at up to 720p, making it unsuitable for finished business deliverables.
Con: Paid plans are organized around credit quotas, so teams with unpredictable demand must choose between risking a tight allowance and paying for more capacity.

Alternatives

For a broader set of options, compare the Photo Animation Software, AI Photo Animation Tools, and AI video generators lists.

Free.ai Text to Video is a freemium API option with daily free tokens and one free video clip every two days; choose it when token-based text-to-video generation is a better match than animating still images.
Hedra offers web and API access, with a Basic plan at 20.00 USD per month including 2,000 credits/month, slower generations, and commercial use. It is an alternative for teams prioritizing that combination of web access and monthly credits.
Viggle has a free plan with five videos per day, one simultaneous generation, and seven-day asset and generation storage; consider it when those daily limits and storage terms fit better than Immersity AI’s conversion-credit model.
Higgsfield is another freemium option, with API and web access and paid plans beginning at 9.00 USD per month for 120 credits; it may suit readers comparing a different credit-based tier structure.
Nero AI Face Animation offers a free trial of 10 Nero Credits, with standard video generation costing 2 credits and Nero AI Plus generation costing 4; it is worth considering for a small trial before committing to a paid plan.
D-ID is a paid API option with a free trial.
Deep Nostalgia offers free access to several general animations through a MyHeritage sign-up and supports Android, iOS, and web; choose it when those platforms and free animations meet the need.
Motionleap is a freemium Android and iOS app with some editing tools at no cost and additional Pro tools requiring in-app purchase; it suits users looking for mobile editing rather than an API-centered workflow.

Verdict

Choose Immersity AI if your work starts with still images, needs image-to-video conversion, and benefits from API access or paid 4K commercial output. Its paid ladder offers a clear way to scale monthly credits, but the free tier is only for watermarked non-commercial use and the credit structure requires volume planning. Look elsewhere if you need text-first generation or a workflow not centered on image conversion.
