Overview

Infogram supports infographics, charts, maps, reports, dashboards, slides and social graphics in one publishing workflow. Projects can include tooltips, clickable elements, videos, GIFs and animation, then be shared or embedded without coding. Embedded visuals update when edited, which helps keep a published chart current without replacing it manually.

Founded in 2012, Infogram is part of Prezi. Its breadth is useful for teams producing several kinds of visual content, though businesses will need to weigh paid-plan limits and costs before settling on it.

Key features

The platform offers more than 35 customizable chart types and more than 800 maps overall. Basic includes 13 map types, while Pro raises that access to 800-plus; the distinction matters if a project depends on geographic coverage rather than charts alone. Infogram’s AI can create visuals, recommend charts, adjust content and convert images into data. Pro also includes an AI image maker.

Connections span Google Drive spreadsheets, Dropbox and JSON feeds, as well as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Amazon Redshift, Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server. That range makes Infogram relevant to teams bringing data from existing sources into visuals, but SQL connectors are a Business feature rather than part of the lower tiers.

Named media integrations include YouTube, SlideShare, Flickr, Giphy and IFrame. Brand assets, basic analytics and collaboration arrive at higher plan levels, so the platform’s content breadth does not mean every workflow is included at entry price. Infogram says it is SOC 2 Type 2 compliant and uses firewalls, intrusion detection and encryption for data in transit and at rest. It also lists WCAG 2.2 Level accessibility among its features.

Pricing

Infogram is freemium, with paid plans starting at 19.00 USD per month billed annually. The free Basic plan is described as suited to personal use; its one-user allowance, 10-project cap, five-page-per-project limit and 13 map types are restrictive for ongoing professional publishing.

Plan	Price and terms	What it includes
Basic	Custom pricing	One user, 35+ interactive chart types, up to 10 projects, up to five pages per project, 13 map types and online publishing.
Pro	19.00 USD per month, billed annually	Up to 100 projects, 100+ premium templates, 800+ map types, AI image maker, HD image and video downloads, and privacy controls.
Business	67.00 USD per month, billed annually	Up to 1,000 projects, unlimited pages per project, brand logo, colors, fonts and image assets, basic analytics, SQL connectors and IFrame integrations.
Team	149.00 USD per month, billed annually	One team with 3–10 users, up to 3,000 projects, real-time collaboration, commenting and content engagement analytics.
Enterprise	Custom pricing	Multiple teams, 10+ users, custom branded theme, SSO, API support and HTML export.

Pro is the practical step up for a solo creator who needs a larger project allowance, expanded maps or downloadable HD assets. Business fits organizations that need SQL data, unbounded pages or brand controls. Team is for groups that need live collaboration and engagement analytics, while Enterprise adds multi-team scale, SSO and API support. The annual billing terms matter: these monthly prices are billed annually, not month-to-month rates.

Platforms

Infogram is available on the web and through an API. Its web publishing supports both sharing and embedding; Enterprise includes API support, so developers should not assume API access is part of the lower paid plans.

Who it's for

Infogram suits data communicators, organizations and professionals who need to turn connected data into interactive visuals and keep those visuals current after embedding. It is less suited to a casual user seeking a generous free workspace, or a team that needs collaboration and SQL access without moving to higher-cost tiers.

Pros and cons

Pros: Interactive embeds update when edited, avoiding manual replacement of published visuals.
Pros: The broad chart and map selection, plus spreadsheet, feed and database connections, supports varied data storytelling workflows.
Pros: Business and higher plans add branding, analytics, collaboration and enterprise controls as needs grow.
Cons: Basic is capped at 10 projects, five pages per project and 13 map types, limiting sustained business use.
Cons: SQL connectors are reserved for Business, while API support is tied to Enterprise.
Cons: Team costs 149.00 USD per month billed annually and starts at three users, a substantial commitment for small groups needing collaboration.

Verdict

Choose Infogram if your work depends on interactive, embeddable data visuals, connected sources and a path from solo publishing to team or enterprise workflows. Its strongest reason to choose is the combination of varied formats, data connections and editable embeds. Look elsewhere if you need meaningful collaboration, SQL or API access without paying for higher tiers, or if Basic’s project and page caps would constrain regular publishing.
