Overview

Janney brings creator matching, outreach and negotiation, campaign tracking, analytics and creator payments together. It searches creators across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, making it a fit for teams managing partnerships across those networks. Search, pagination, similar-creator lookup and profile viewing are free; contact reveals and other takeout actions use credits. That split lets teams research before committing credits, but puts a finite resource between finding a creator and acting on the lead.

Key features

Discovery and campaign work

AI-powered matching and automated outreach and negotiation extend the product beyond a searchable creator directory. Teams seeking a single workflow from discovery through campaign execution may value that breadth. The trade-off is that free search alone does not unlock contact details, and paid credit allowances matter for sustained outreach.

Tracking and integrations

Included content tracking records views, likes and comments once daily for up to 90 days. This gives teams a defined window for reviewing campaign performance, while longer windows and higher tracking volume require a Custom plan. Gmail and Outlook are listed as email integrations.

API and security

The REST API and hosted MCP server come with Growth and Custom. Janney positions the API for teams building agency dashboards, CRMs, data pipelines, marketplaces or AI agents around creator search; teams that need those building blocks must look beyond Starter. Janney says it uses technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, does not sell it, and may share it with service providers, business partners with user consent, or when legally required. It also does not guarantee absolute security.

Pricing

Janney has a free plan and paid plans starting at $99/month. The free tier is a useful way to search and view profiles, but its 10 one-time credits constrain contact reveals and other takeout actions. It includes self-serve support.

Free: $0.00 USD per free, with 10 one-time credits. Best for initial exploration rather than recurring outreach.
Starter: $99.00 USD per month, billed $99/month. It includes 300 credits/month, up to 5 seats, priority email support and content tracking at 0.05 credits per post per day. The seat cap and tracking charge make it a measured starting point for small teams, but ongoing tracking also draws on credits.
Growth: $299.00 USD per month, or $199/month billed annually ($2,388/year). It includes 900 contact credits/month, unlimited team seats, the REST API and hosted MCP, plus priority AI processing and support. The larger allowance and integration access suit teams building workflows around creator search, though the annual option commits the team to $2,388 per year.
Custom: custom pricing, billed from $15,000/year. It includes a custom allowance, client-level workspaces, custom integrations, longer tracking windows and larger tracking volume. This is the relevant tier for organizations that outgrow standard tracking or need client separation, but it is a substantial annual commitment.

Platforms

Janney is available on web and through an API. API access is included with Growth and Custom, not Starter; the hosted MCP server is also included on those plans.

Who it's for

Janney is best suited to brands, agencies and marketing teams that want discovery, campaign management and performance tracking in one workflow. Starter can serve a small team with modest contact and tracking needs. Growth better fits teams that need unlimited seats or want to integrate creator search into their own systems. Teams with larger tracking needs, custom integrations or client-level workspaces will need Custom pricing. It is less compelling for teams whose main requirement is unrestricted contact access at no cost.

Pros and cons

Pros: Free search and profile viewing let teams assess creators before using credits.
Pros: Discovery, outreach, negotiation, campaign tracking, analytics and payments cover multiple stages of influencer work.
Pros: Growth combines unlimited seats with API and hosted MCP access, useful for teams embedding creator search in their own tools.
Cons: Contact reveals and other takeout actions consume credits, so free discovery does not amount to free outreach.
Cons: Starter is capped at five seats and charges 0.05 credits per post per day for tracking.
Cons: Standard included tracking ends at 90 days; longer windows and greater volume require Custom, from $15,000/year.

Alternatives

For a broader comparison, see Influencer Marketing Platforms. Choose KALO IQ instead if its free access to 100M+ hand-verified US creators, basic previews and core discovery filters better fit a discovery-first need.

Elev8or is an alternative if a free plan with one workspace, one active campaign and one team member is the right scale; its free plan also has 20 one-time credits. Infloxy may suit teams looking for a free plan with 10 AI credits per month, 10 creators and one campaign, pitch, contract template and contract per month. Kleepa is worth considering for free browsing and shortlists across 100,000+ verified creators, with jobs, booking and payment requiring an upgrade.

Teams that prefer a paid platform can consider Storyclash, whose Starter plan is €499.00 per month for 10+ monthly collaborations. Influencer Marketing AI offers a paid Personal plan at $129.00 per month with one seat, 20 creator unlocks, five creator analyses and 25 email exports monthly. IQFluence is another paid option: its Starter plan is displayed at $236/month on a yearly plan and includes 10,000 search results, 200 profile analyses and 200 email unlocks per month. For teams focused on attribution, Spark offers a self-serve plan at $199.00 per year, billed annually at $2,388/year, with unlimited partners, campaigns and attribution.

Verdict

Choose Janney if your brand, agency or marketing team wants creator discovery connected to outreach, campaign work and analytics, and can budget for credits as activity grows. Growth is the clearest fit for teams that need unlimited seats or API and MCP access. Look elsewhere if free contact access is essential, or if a 90-day tracking window and credit-based takeout do not fit the workflow.
