Overview

JetEmail serves developers, businesses and hosting providers, including SaaS teams, agencies, ecommerce businesses and managed service providers. It was founded in 2024 and is headquartered in Australia. The product spans three distinct jobs: marketing campaigns, outbound transactional email and inbound filtering. That breadth can simplify a stack, though each workload has its own plan limits and should be evaluated on its own terms.

The web interface and API are the stated platforms. Outbound mail can use SMTP or a REST API, drawing from the same allowance. The maker says its anycast network spans Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore, Amsterdam and New York, and that its team can inspect delivery logs and investigate problems because it operates the sending network, IP pools and filtering.

Key features

Marketing and audience tools

The Marketing Suite includes campaigns, templates, segments, custom fields, signup forms and automations. Reporting covers opens, clicks, bounces and unsubscribes. This is a coherent set for teams running recurring campaigns and targeting parts of a list, rather than a bare bulk-sending service. Paid marketing plans provide unlimited marketing sends, leaving subscriber count—not campaign volume—as the principal stated tier boundary.

Transactional sending and controls

The email API supports attachments up to 40 MB, batches of 100, scheduled sends up to 30 days ahead, idempotency keys and signed delivery webhooks. Those capabilities suit application mail and integration workflows where duplicate requests, delivery events or scheduled messages matter. API keys can also carry monthly quotas, IP restrictions and approved sending domains, giving teams practical controls over usage and where keys can operate.

Inbound filtering and integrations

Inbound filtering can block spam, phishing and malware, quarantine messages, then deliver filtered mail by SMTP, webhook or forwarding. It is priced separately from the marketing and outbound tiers: the first domain is free, with an additional $3 per month for each additional domain and no message-volume charge. Integrations include cPanel, DirectAdmin, Enhance and WordPress; SDKs are listed for Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby, Go and Rust. The cPanel plugin supports AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux and CloudLinux, but not Ubuntu, which rules it out for Ubuntu-based hosting environments. JetEmail labels the service GDPR compliant.

Pricing

JetEmail is freemium, with no time-limited trial; product free tiers do not expire. The Marketing Suite Free plan costs $0.00 USD per free tier and supports 1,000 subscribers with 1 GB of image storage. It is a sensible starting point for a small list, but the subscriber cap and storage allowance are clear constraints.

Marketing Suite Starter (5,000 subscribers) costs $29.00 USD per month. It includes unlimited marketing sends, unlimited template-based transactional email on paid plans, 100 AI requests per month and 1 TB of image storage. That is the entry point for a growing list and combines substantial image storage with a defined AI-request allowance. The separate Outbound Pro plan also costs $10.00 USD per month: it allows 50,000 emails per month, then charges $0.20 per 1,000, with unlimited domains, a premium IP pool and 120-day data retention. Outbound Free is $0.00 USD per free tier for 3,000 emails per month, five domains, a shared IP pool and 30-day data retention. It is useful for modest sending, but both the volume cap and shared pool distinguish it from Pro.

For larger marketing lists, Marketing Suite plans are $49.00 USD per month for 10,000 subscribers, $99.00 USD per month for 25,000, $199.00 USD per month for 50,000 and $350.00 USD per month for 100,000; each includes unlimited marketing sends. The 1,000,000-subscriber plan is $2250.00 USD per month, with plans increasing in 100,000-subscriber steps. These tiers suit teams whose audience justifies the capacity; the price rises with list size even though send volume remains unlimited.

Outbound Scale costs $75.00 USD per month for 500,000 emails per month, then $0.15 per 1,000, with unlimited domains, a premium IP pool and 120-day data retention. It fits higher-volume transactional workloads better than Outbound Pro, but still has a monthly allowance and overage charge. Inbound filtering has custom pricing beyond the first free domain, at $3 per month for each additional domain, with no charge based on message volume.

Platforms

JetEmail is available on the web and through an API. SMTP is also supported for outbound delivery, and the listed integrations and SDKs give developers and hosting providers several ways to connect it to existing systems. The Ubuntu gap in the cPanel plugin is material for hosting teams standardized on that distribution.

Who it's for

JetEmail is most compelling for teams that need marketing, application email and inbound filtering together, especially SaaS businesses and hosting providers able to use its API, SMTP options or listed integrations. Marketing teams with frequent sends can benefit from unlimited marketing volume on paid tiers, provided the subscriber-based price fits their list. It is less suitable for a small-list user who needs more than 1 GB of free image storage, an Ubuntu cPanel deployment, or an outbound workload that does not fit the stated monthly allowances.

Pros and cons

Pros: Marketing, transactional delivery and inbound filtering share one platform, reducing the need to source each capability separately.
Pros: Paid marketing tiers have unlimited sends, while subscriber-based plans make audience capacity easy to identify.
Pros: API controls, signed webhooks, idempotency keys and multiple SDKs support integration and operational safeguards.
Cons: The free Marketing Suite stops at 1,000 subscribers and 1 GB of image storage.
Cons: Outbound plans impose monthly email limits and overage rates, so high-volume sending requires monitoring.
Cons: The cPanel integration does not support Ubuntu.

Alternatives

Apache SpamAssassin is the better fit when the need is free, self-hosted Linux spam filtering through command-line tools and Perl modules rather than a combined hosted email platform. Mailprotector is an alternative for teams seeking email security products, with a free email security check and product pricing available from an account manager. MailChannels Inbound Filtering is another inbound-filtering option for teams willing to contact sales for pricing. Retarus Transactional Email suits teams that prefer a defined evaluation period: its free trial lasts 30 days and is capped at 5,000 emails and 200 emails per hour, with no load testing.

Mailinblack Protect is an alternative for teams considering inbound and outbound protection with integrated controls and SIEM enrichment. SpamHero Business Email Security is worth comparing for per-domain inbound email security: its Lite plan is $5.00 USD per month per domain at an introductory annual-prepayment rate, then $7.00 USD per month on annual billing or $8.00 USD per month on monthly billing. MailWasher is a desktop and mobile alternative for individuals who want a free plan limited to one email account, or a paid Pro option. Rspamd is a self-hosted alternative for Linux or macOS environments that want an open-source filtering engine.

Verdict

JetEmail is a strong fit for developers, SaaS teams and hosting providers that want marketing, transactional email and inbound filtering in one API- and web-accessible service. Its breadth, developer controls and unlimited paid marketing sends are the main reasons to choose it. Look elsewhere if Ubuntu cPanel support is essential, if the free marketing allowance is too small, or if your outbound volume and budget do not fit its quota-based plans.
