Overview

Kassly brings checkout, stock management, and workflows for different business types into one system. Multiple businesses can be managed under one account, and the POS can store transactions locally for up to 72 hours without internet before syncing when connectivity returns. That finite offline window can help with intermittent outages, but it is not a substitute for reliable connectivity over longer disruptions.

For businesses that need BIR-accredited sales documentation, Kassly is not the right system: it states that it is not a BIR-accredited CAS/POS system, and its transaction records are not official receipts or sales invoices.

Key features

Checkout and online ordering

The POS supports cash, credit and debit cards, GCash, Maya, bank transfers, store credit, and split payments. Online ordering has a narrower set: cash on delivery, GCash, or Maya. Kassly does not dispatch deliveries or handle merchants’ money, so the business must manage fulfillment and funds itself.

Inventory and business workflows

Inventory tools include stock levels, suppliers, purchase orders, transfers, expiry alerts, and warehouse tools, though some capabilities are paid add-ons. Food businesses can use a Kitchen Display System, station pairing, tables and floor plans, and order modifiers. Other packs target gym, service-job, beauty, repair, and retail workflows. This modular approach lets businesses choose a closer fit, while the cost of the relevant pack matters for operators who need more than basic inventory.

Security and support

Kassly says it encrypts account data in transit and at rest, and keeps business accounts isolated. It does not sell or rent personal information, though it may share data with service providers or when required by law. Support runs Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Philippine Time; a user manual and PDF are also provided.

Pricing

The Free plan costs 0.00 PHP per free, billed Forever. It covers one branch, two users, 50 products, full POS, basic inventory and reports, and offline mode. That is a useful entry point for a small operation, but the branch, user, and product caps constrain growth and the included inventory is basic.

Paid plans are billed per branch per month and include a 30-day free trial:

Negosyo Starter — 449.00 PHP per month: cash and expenses, plus business reports; a fit for operators needing those tools without a named specialized workflow.
Gym Pack — 799.00 PHP per month: customer memory, cash and expenses, and reports.
Service Jobs Pack — 849.00 PHP per month: job orders, customer memory, and reports.
Tindahan Pack — 1099.00 PHP per month: Inventory Pro, customer memory, cash and expenses, and reports; the clearest step up for retail stock operations.
Beauty Pack — 1099.00 PHP per month: appointments, commissions, customer memory, and reports.
Repair Pack — 1149.00 PHP per month: job orders, Inventory Pro, customer memory, and reports.
Kitchen Pack — 1399.00 PHP per month: kitchen display and tables, Inventory Pro, recipe costing, cash and expenses, and reports; the most directly aligned option for food-service operations.
Everything — 2999.00 PHP per month: all 14 add-ons and unlimited users, for businesses that need several workflows or have outgrown the free user cap.

Every paid price is per branch, so multi-location businesses should account for that recurring cost. The paid plans name different bundles rather than a single escalating feature ladder; choose by workflow, not just by price.

Platforms

Kassly supports Android, iOS, macOS, web, and Windows. It says no special hardware is required and that it works in browsers on phones, tablets, laptops, or desktops. 58mm or 80mm thermal printers can print transaction records. Reports can be exported to CSV, and Kassly names GCash, Maya, bank transfers, and card payments among supported methods.

Who it's for

Kassly is a plausible fit for Philippine retail, food and beverage, and service businesses that want POS and inventory together, need offline operation for short outages, or value business-specific packs. It is less suitable for businesses that require official BIR receipts or sales invoices from their POS, or need uninterrupted offline operation beyond 72 hours.

Pros and cons

Pro: The free plan includes full POS and offline mode, making it possible to start without a subscription, within its one-branch, two-user, and 50-product limits.
Pro: Payment support includes cards, e-wallets, transfers, store credit, and split payments, covering varied checkout arrangements.
Pro: Food-service tools such as kitchen display, tables, and modifiers make the product relevant beyond basic retail checkout.
Con: The 72-hour offline limit may not cover extended connectivity outages.
Con: Kassly's records are not official receipts or sales invoices, ruling it out for businesses that require those documents from the system.
Con: Some inventory tools are paid add-ons, and paid subscriptions are priced per branch.
Con: Online ordering leaves delivery and handling of merchant funds to the business.

Alternatives

For a barber-focused operation, Barbershop Software is a category to compare. BARBER-OS has a free online booking and scheduling plan, so it may suit a barber prioritizing bookings over Kassly's POS and inventory. Salonist offers a free plan with 50 appointments per month, online booking, calendar and scheduling, and staff shift management, making it an option for appointment-led salons. Barbería Club has a free tier capped at 30 bookings a month, one barber, and two services, with WhatsApp notifications and schedule blocking; it suits a small barber operation focused on booking limits and scheduling. Pronto has a free plan with one staff member, 100 clients, 50 bookings per month, and 100 products, combining appointment caps with a small product allowance. Apoynt is a paid booking option with a free trial and a Starter plan for two staff, one calendar, and one location. BarberCore is another web-based barber alternative. GlossGenius is a paid salon option with a free trial and a Standard plan that includes a booking website, client notifications, marketing, and inventory. Openfront Law Firm is a freemium, self-hosted and web-based option with API access.

Verdict

Choose Kassly if a Philippine business needs a broad POS and inventory base, short-term offline capability, and a pack tailored to retail, food service, or service work. Its free tier makes a small-scale start practical, while the paid plans add clearer operational tools. Look elsewhere if official BIR receipts or sales invoices are essential, or if the business needs more than 72 hours of offline operation.
