Overview

LatitudeLearning combines role-based onboarding, product and operational training, certifications, compliance management, and progress tracking. Administrators can organize learning across organizations, geographies, brands, field networks, and learner roles. Skills profiles, accreditation, and individual or organizational performance metrics help teams assign and evaluate training rather than treating completion as the only measure.

Founded in 2003 and based in Saline, Michigan, LatitudeLearning says its LMS has served more than 3 million people across 3,000 organizations. Those figures point to experience with extended-enterprise programs, but the platform's broad administrative scope is likely excessive for a small internal training team.

Key features

Learning and assessment: Course authoring, assessments, certificates, and custom branding cover core LMS needs. They are useful for organizations that need to deliver and recognize role-specific training across a network.
AI learning support: An AI assistant retrieves approved company resources to provide contextual operational guidance. AI course tools include study guides, course-specific coaches, and assisted assessment generation. This approach is suited to organizations with approved internal material to draw on.
Connections and access: Standard, new, and custom third-party connectors support user access management, while standard and custom single sign-on can provide one-click access from third-party applications. Custom connector and SSO requirements make the integration package a consideration for teams with specialized systems.
Dedicated deployment: A dedicated instance can be tailored to a customer's geolocation and security needs, with its own database and system administrator tools. That option fits organizations with specific control requirements, but it is more involved than a standard shared setup.
Support resources: The support center serves administrators, managers, instructors, and students, and includes release notes and FAQs.

Pricing

LatitudeLearning has no free plan. Its license pricing is based on a three-year contract billed annually, so the per-year rates should be weighed against a multi-year commitment rather than treated as a short-term subscription. User licenses are priced by active-user band:

100 users: 11.25 USD per year for 100 active users.
101–1,000 users: 10.75 USD per year for 101–1,000 active users.
1,001–5,000 users: 9.40 USD per year for 1,001–5,000 active users.
5,001–10,000 users: 8.65 USD per year for 5,001–10,000 active users.
10,001–25,000 users: 7.90 USD per year for 10,001–25,000 active users.
25,001–50,000 users: 7.15 USD per year for 25,001–50,000 active users.
Over 50,000 users: custom pricing.

Enrollment licenses are an alternative when annual learning activity is a better fit than an active-user count. These also use a three-year contract billed annually:

100–1,000 annual enrollments: 5.35 USD per year.
1,001–5,000 annual enrollments: 4.85 USD per year.
5,001–10,000 annual enrollments: 4.30 USD per year.
10,001–25,000 annual enrollments: 3.30 USD per year per enrollment, with unlimited active users.

The enrollment model can suit programs with many learners but bounded annual enrollments; user licensing is more direct when active-user counts are predictable. The listed enrollment tiers stop at 25,000, while the over-50,000 user tier uses custom pricing. SurefireSetup implementation packages add a separate cost: Express is $5,000, Standard is $20,000, and Advanced is $40,000. Different packages have different durations and capabilities, so teams should match the package to their rollout needs.

Platforms

LatitudeLearning supports web access and an API. API access is useful for teams integrating the LMS with their existing stack; the platform's connector and single sign-on options add routes for user access management.

Who it's for

LatitudeLearning is best suited to organizations that train people outside their own employee base and need administration across partner organizations, brands, locations, or roles. Its certifications, compliance management, performance measures, and AI support are relevant when training needs to be assigned and evaluated consistently at network scale. A small organization with a simple course library, few external learners, or a preference for a short commitment should consider whether the administrative breadth and three-year contract are justified.

Pros and cons

Pro: Supports training administration across organizations, brands, geographies, and partner networks, which fits extended-enterprise programs better than a single-group setup.
Pro: Combines course authoring, assessments, certificates, compliance, and performance metrics, supporting programs that must track more than course completion.
Pro: AI tools can use approved company resources for operational guidance and assist with study guides, course coaches, and assessment generation.
Con: License pricing is tied to a three-year contract billed annually, limiting flexibility for programs that need to start with a brief commitment.
Con: Implementation packages cost $5,000 to $40,000, which adds a material rollout expense alongside license fees.
Con: Custom connector and dedicated-instance options require additional scoping, making specialized integration or security needs part of the buying decision.
