Overview

Upload JPG, PNG, or WebP images and choose 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x, or custom dimensions. LetsEnhance supports outputs up to 512 megapixels and can prepare images for 300 DPI printing. The combination of batch processing and an API makes it more relevant to repeat workflows than a desktop-only tool, though there is no desktop app.

Key features

AI enhancement modes: Prime, Gentle, and Old Photo address different enhancement needs. Face enhancement and old-photo restoration are also supported, giving users options beyond straightforward enlargement.
Scale and output: Custom dimensions and factors up to 16x allow flexibility, while a 512-megapixel maximum can suit large-format work. The free plan's output ceiling is much lower at 8 megapixels.
Batch and API: Both are supported, a practical advantage for teams integrating image processing or handling repeated jobs.
Formats and storage: JPG, PNG, and WebP are supported. Free users get unlimited storage for six months, but their images carry a watermark.
Support: Email and chat support are available, with priority chat on paid plans.

Pricing

The free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and gives new users 10 credits without a card. One image uses one credit. Free inputs may be up to 24 megapixels or 50 MB, but output is capped at 8 megapixels and includes a watermark. It is useful for a limited trial, not a clean-output production workflow.

Paid plans are billed annually at the stated monthly rates:

Starter — 9.00 USD per month: 100 credits per month, up to 600 unused credits, 64-megapixel or 50 MB inputs, and 256-megapixel output. A fit for modest recurring volume where the Pro output ceiling is unnecessary.
Pro — 24.00 USD per month: 300 credits monthly, up to 1,800 unused credits, the same input limit, and 350-megapixel output. It raises both throughput and output headroom for heavier workflows.
Max — 34.00 USD per month: 500 credits monthly, up to 3,000 unused credits, 64-megapixel or 50 MB inputs, and 512-megapixel output. Choose it when the higher output ceiling and monthly volume justify the additional spend.

Paid plans remove the watermark. Unused credits roll over only while a subscription is active, and remaining credits expire when it ends; cancellation also ends unused credits and membership benefits at the end of the billing period. Payments are accepted by credit card and PayPal. LetsEnhance says it uses Stripe and does not store card data.

Platforms

LetsEnhance supports API access, with no desktop app. That favors developers and teams building image processing into an existing workflow over users seeking a native desktop application.

Who it's for

Choose LetsEnhance for recurring image enlargement, batch jobs, API integration, or restoration work where selectable modes and large output dimensions matter. It is less suitable for occasional users who need watermark-free results without a subscription, or teams whose required output and input sizes exceed their chosen plan's limits.

Pros and cons

Pro: Batch processing and API access support repeatable, higher-volume workflows.
Pro: Custom sizing, multiple enhancement modes, and outputs up to 512 megapixels cover more than basic enlargement.
Con: The free tier limits output to 8 megapixels and adds a watermark, so it is a constrained evaluation path.
Con: Credits expire when the subscription ends, making cancellation costly for users with unused balance.
Con: Paid inputs are capped at 64 megapixels or 50 MB, even on Max.

Alternatives

For comparisons across the category, browse Image Upscaling Software, AI Photo Enhancer Software, AI Image Restoration Software, and AI Image Upscalers.

PixelPanda Image Upscaler is worth considering for extension or web access alongside its API, or for one-time credit purchases rather than a subscription.
Upscale.media offers a monthly allowance of three free credits and downloads, a better fit for very occasional use.
PicWish Image Upscaler is an alternative with limited daily non-HD downloads on its free plan and daily HD downloads on Pro.
Krea Enhancer offers a free daily compute-unit allowance and a monthly Basic plan, for readers comparing compute-based pricing.
SupaRes starts with a one-time free quota of 10 processing credits, 64 megapixels, and one user; consider it for a small initial workload.
Bigjpg supports multiple platforms including mobile and desktop operating systems, unlike LetsEnhance's API-only platform listing.
Upsampler is another API option, with a free Starter tier that includes concurrent and queued job limits.
Topaz Labs API is an API alternative with per-credit pricing on its Starter plan and a Developer plan.

Verdict

LetsEnhance is a strong fit for teams that need API-based batch upscaling, multiple enhancement modes, and high-resolution output. Its main reason to choose it is the breadth of scale and workflow support; its main reason to look elsewhere is the credit-expiry policy, especially if usage is irregular or cancellation is likely.
