Overview

Loxo combines candidate sourcing, recruiting CRM, applicant tracking, outreach, people data and AI agents for recruiting and executive-search firms. It suits teams that want candidate discovery and workflow support in one platform, while keeping hiring decisions with people. Its strongest case is breadth; the main trade-offs are per-user annual billing and, on Professional, a shared monthly credit pool.

Loxo spans Candidate Relationship Management Software, Recruitment Agency Software, Recruiting CRM Software, AI Recruiting Software and Candidate Sourcing Software.

Key features

Search and candidate data

Loxo says its proprietary talent graph contains more than 850 million people. Natural-language, relevance-ranked AI search is included in every plan, alongside contact enrichment, bulk export and candidate outreach. That combination gives sourcing teams a way to move from search into follow-up without treating Loxo as only a database. The mixed talent database is worth weighing against the needs of a particular recruiting team; graph size alone does not establish that its candidate data fits every search.

Agent-supported recruiting

Loxo's agents can assist with job intake, drafting job descriptions and Skill DNA, building candidate longlists and shortlists, outreach and other recruiting tasks. The workflow stops at the shortlist, leaving candidate decisions to a person. That boundary makes the automation an aid to recruiter throughput rather than a replacement for human selection.

Integrations and access

The marketplace includes Arrange, Indeed, Ringover, Workday, Greenhouse, HubSpot, Okta and Zoom. Core includes a Chrome extension, while API access is a Professional feature. Teams that need API connectivity should account for the Professional tier rather than assume it comes with the lower-cost plan.

Pricing

Loxo is freemium, with a free plan and a 7-day trial. The trial provides full Professional access and does not require a credit card.

Core: 149.00 USD per month, billed annually and paid up front, per user. It includes unlimited jobs, candidates and companies, a Chrome extension, and free migration for teams with at least three seats. Smaller teams get guided self-serve migration tooling instead. Core is the lower-cost fit for teams wanting the central recruiting workflow, but it does not include the Professional plan's API access or stated monthly credits.
Professional: 199.00 USD per month, billed annually and paid up front, per user. It includes 2,500 monthly credits per seat, pooled across the team and refreshed each cycle. Unused credits do not carry over, so teams should consider whether their usage can fit the recurring allowance. API access makes this the relevant paid tier for teams that need it.
Enterprise: custom pricing under custom annual agreements. It adds SSO/SAML, advanced governance, advanced roles and permissions, a dedicated success team and priority support. Those controls and support make it the tier to consider for teams with enterprise governance requirements.

Core and Professional are annual commitments paid up front despite their monthly price presentation. The free plan is an option for teams avoiding paid seats, while the trial offers a week to evaluate Professional before an annual purchase.

Platforms

Loxo supports web, API and extension access. The Chrome extension is included in Core; API access is listed for Professional.

Who it's for

Loxo is aimed at recruiting and executive-search firms. It is strongest for teams that want sourcing, candidate relationship management, tracking and agent-assisted workflow in one place, particularly when human review at the shortlist is important. Teams needing API access should budget for Professional; those requiring SSO/SAML and advanced governance should look at Enterprise. Organizations seeking only a focused messaging tool or a separately priced recruiting workflow may prefer an alternative.

Pros and cons

Pros

Broad recruiting workflow: sourcing, CRM, ATS, outreach, people data and agent tasks sit within one platform.
AI search in every plan: teams can use natural-language, relevance-ranked search without moving to Professional.
Human decision boundary: agents stop at shortlisting, preserving recruiter judgment on candidates.
Migration support: Core includes free migration for teams of three or more seats, with guided self-serve tooling for smaller teams.

Cons

Annual upfront billing: paid Core and Professional plans are billed annually and paid up front, limiting their fit for teams seeking month-to-month terms.
Professional credits expire each cycle: the pooled 2,500 credits per seat do not roll over, requiring teams to manage usage.
API access costs more: teams that need the API must move beyond Core to Professional.

Alternatives

For teams comparing recruiting and talent CRM options, Eightfold Candidate Relationship Management is part of Eightfold Talent Acquisition with no additional technology purchase; consider it when that broader suite is already the intended platform. Beamery uses enterprise subscription pricing that can depend on contacts, email sends, users, products and added features, making it an option to evaluate when those pricing dimensions suit the buying process.

Sense has a paid SMS/WhatsApp Messaging plan starting at 500.00 USD per month with 1:1 and bulk messaging, conversation search, templates and shared inboxes; choose it when those messaging functions are the priority. MyTalent CRM is another paid recruiting CRM option with subscription pricing. Phenom Talent CRM offers enterprise pricing through a Phenom expert.

HireOnboard CRM charges 200.00 USD per once per job credit, with unused credits carrying forward; it is worth comparing when pay-per-use credits better fit the hiring workflow. Untap Talent has a Starter plan at 250.00 USD per month with unlimited submissions, programs and users, plus one training session monthly; consider it when those program and submission terms match the work.

SmartRecruiters offers an Essential plan starting at 14995.00 USD per month with applicant tracking, CRM, onboarding, SMS messaging, job distribution and dynamic scheduling; it is an alternative for teams evaluating that broader listed package.

Verdict

Choose Loxo if your recruiting or executive-search team wants candidate sourcing, CRM, ATS and agent assistance in one platform, with human decisions retained after shortlisting. Its breadth and search in every plan are the clearest reasons to choose it. Look elsewhere if annual upfront billing, Professional's non-carryover credits or the need to pay for API access do not fit your stack or budget.
