Overview

Marketbridge by Hykmah is a marketplace operations platform for businesses coordinating multiple vendors, commissions and payouts. It suits operators who want vendor administration, payment handling and fulfilment workflows together, especially those whose marketplace needs connect to accounting, commerce and payment systems. Its breadth is appealing, but the plan limits and onboarding hours deserve close scrutiny before choosing a tier.

Key features

A central dashboard supports vendor onboarding and monitoring, with controls for permissions, territories and product approvals. That gives operators a way to manage vendor access and catalog standards from one place; commission rules cover flat, category-based, vendor-tier and fixed-plus-percentage structures, useful when sellers or product categories require different economics.

Stripe Connect splits checkout payments between the marketplace and its vendors, while payouts can be scheduled daily, weekly or monthly. Vendors can manage products, pricing, inventory and orders in a branded self-service portal. Order routing can account for location, inventory or fulfilment capacity, with real-time inventory visibility across vendors. These workflows are relevant for marketplaces where sellers fulfil orders independently, though the stated payment split is tied to Stripe Connect.

Marketbridge describes automated GST/VAT collection and remittance, regional vendor tax ID verification and automatic tax invoices. It also includes workflows for disputes, refunds and chargebacks across vendors. These functions address operational work that can otherwise span sellers, but businesses should ensure the tax and payment workflows match their regions and requirements.

Integrations span accounting systems Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, NetSuite and Sage; payment services Stripe, Square, PayPal, Adyen and eWAY; and commerce platforms Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce and Magento. Other listed connections include Salesforce, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Australia Post, FedEx, DHL, Aramex, Twilio, Slack, Microsoft Teams and SendGrid. Hykmah says its pre-built connectors support bi-directional sync, OAuth2 security and webhook automation, a useful mix for teams fitting the platform into an existing stack.

Pricing

Marketbridge has a free tier and paid monthly plans priced in AUD. The FAQ describes a free Startup tier with up to 10 vendors, 100 products, basic marketplace setup, a vendor portal, email notifications and one user account. The Free plan table separately gives 1 product, 100 records, 100 transactions per month, 1 GB of storage, docs support and no onboarding. Those limits make the free option a constrained starting point rather than a broad operating tier; the differing product caps are worth resolving before relying on it.

Professional costs 50.00 AUD per month and includes up to 2 products, 1,000 records, 1,000 transactions per month, 10 GB storage, email and phone support, and 2 hours of onboarding. It fits a small operation needing more capacity and direct support, but the two-product cap may be restrictive for varied catalogs.

Premium costs 350.00 AUD per month and raises the limits to up to 5 products, 10,000 records, 10,000 transactions per month and 100 GB storage. Priority support with a dedicated account manager and 8 onboarding hours add more assistance for a growing operation. The higher transaction and storage allowances are substantial, but product capacity still tops out at five.

Enterprise has custom pricing, all products, unlimited records, transactions and storage, a 4-hour SLA and custom onboarding. It is the clearest fit for larger or more demanding marketplace operations that exceed the published caps. Monthly billing is stated for the priced plans; no trial term or renewal condition is given.

Platforms

Marketbridge is available via API and web. Its integrations may help it connect to a broad operational stack, but teams needing a mobile app or a self-hosted deployment should look elsewhere.

Who it's for

The product identifies artisan and niche marketplaces, B2B industrial and trade marketplaces, equipment and rental marketplaces, and SaaS and platform operators as target users. It is most compelling for teams that need vendor controls, commission flexibility, split payments and order routing in the same system. It is less suited to operators whose catalog needs exceed the low product limits of the published paid plans or whose payment setup does not center on Stripe Connect.

Pros and cons

Pro: Commission rules span flat, category, vendor-tier and compound rates, giving operators room to reflect different seller arrangements.
Pro: Vendor self-service, routing, inventory visibility and dispute workflows cover several recurring marketplace operations in one platform.
Pro: The integration roster covers accounting, payments, commerce, marketing, logistics and team communications, with stated OAuth2 and webhook support for connectors.
Con: Free includes only 1 product in the plan table, and paid plans cap products at 2 or 5; catalog-heavy marketplaces may need Enterprise.
Con: Stripe Connect is the stated mechanism for split checkout payments, limiting the fit for marketplaces centered on another payment provider.
Con: Free has no onboarding, while Professional includes 2 hours and Premium 8; teams needing extensive setup guidance may need Enterprise's custom onboarding.

Alternatives

For a broader comparison, start with Online Marketplace Software. Consider Litekart if you want a free, self-hosted option with full source code and all features included. MarketplaceKit offers a free self-hosted Community Edition, though it is a lighter version without customer support; its Hobby plan is 15.00 USD per month.

Mercur is a free, MIT-licensed, self-hosted marketplace core for teams prepared to handle implementation, deployment and maintenance themselves. Arcadier is another API and web option, with marketplace configuration across staging and production environments. Choose Digivance Marketplace Platform if a paid plan with a 2999.00 USD per month Starter tier, up to 100 active vendors and flat-rate commissions better matches your scale.

Kreezalid is worth considering for a paid API and web platform with a free trial and a Basic plan at 99.00 EUR per month, including one staff account, 100 user accounts and 100 listings. Sharetribe has a free trial and a Build plan at 39.00 USD per month with 1M usage credits per month, unlimited test users and listings, and test-mode API access. Tamaranga is an alternative with a Standard service renewal priced at 2600.00 USD per half-year.

Verdict

Marketbridge is a strong candidate for marketplace operators who need structured vendor administration, configurable commissions, Stripe Connect payouts and operational workflows linked to a broad software stack. Choose it when those capabilities outweigh the tight product caps on Free, Professional and Premium. Look elsewhere if self-hosting, mobile access, a different split-payment provider or more catalog capacity on a lower tier is essential.
