Overview

Sociocs brings SMS, MMS, and WhatsApp campaigns together with two-way messaging and a shared inbox. The inbox can also include Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Google Reviews, Web Chat, and Online Forms, giving teams a broader view of customer conversations than a texting-only tool. The tradeoff is that channel allowances are limited on the lower tiers.

For carrier connectivity, customers can link their own Twilio, Telnyx, or SignalHouse accounts. Sociocs says this lets customers pay provider rates without per-message markups. That model offers cost transparency, but teams need to account for their own carrier relationship as well as the Sociocs subscription.

Key features

Campaigns and shared conversations

Campaigns support contact lists and segments, scheduling, recurring sends, opt-out handling, and delivery reporting. These controls suit businesses that send planned announcements or promotions and need to manage recipient preferences. The shared inbox adds assignment, templates, internal notes, follow-up reminders, automations, and team presence, which can help staff coordinate replies rather than split conversations across individual accounts.

Connections, translation, and safeguards

Integrations include ActiveCampaign, Bubble, Customer.io, Keap, Webflow, WordPress, and Zapier. The API can start messages from an existing platform, while webhooks can forward incoming messages elsewhere; this makes Sociocs more relevant to teams fitting messaging into established workflows than to teams seeking a standalone campaign sender. Automatic conversation and bulk-message translation is available in more than 100 languages.

Sociocs states that it complies with HIPAA and maintains administrative, physical, and technical safeguards for protected health information, while also placing responsibility for each customer's own HIPAA compliance on that customer. Its privacy policy describes industry-standard security techniques and acknowledges that internet security cannot be perfect. Healthcare buyers should therefore treat the platform's stated safeguards as one part of their compliance assessment, not a substitute for their own obligations.

Pricing

Sociocs has a free plan, paid plans from $12/user/mo, and a 7-day trial. The published tiers show different combinations of channel access, seats, and monthly message allowances:

Plan	Price and term	Included
Free	0.00 USD per free; free forever	2 channels, 1 user, 1,000 messages/mo, unlimited templates
Standard	24.00 USD per month; billed monthly	2 channels, 2 users, 2,000 messages/mo; additional messages $1 per 1,000 messages
Premium	149.00 USD per month; billed monthly	Unlimited channels, 10 users, 50,000 messages/mo; additional messages $1 per 1,000 messages
Custom	Custom pricing; as per your needs	Unlimited channels, users and included messages based on monthly commitment, with additional messages at a discounted rate

Free is a practical way for one person to try two channels, but its 1,000-message ceiling and single seat limit its usefulness for a team. Standard doubles the seats and message allowance, yet still caps channels at two; it suits a small operation with a focused channel mix. Premium is the clearer fit for a larger team or one that needs multiple channels, with 10 users and 50,000 included messages. Its $1-per-1,000 overage rate is also stated, so higher-volume senders can estimate the marginal messaging charge. Custom pricing is aimed at organizations that need more users or committed volume. Premium includes premium onboarding service and high-priority support; WordPress integration support can also draw on technical experts.

Platforms

Sociocs supports Android, iOS, web, and API access. That combination accommodates mobile staff and teams integrating messaging into software they already use.

Who it's for

The product is presented for dental, medical, and veterinary clinics, online businesses, small and medium businesses, fitness studios, and hotels and motels. Its mix of campaign tools, shared customer conversations, and integration options is most compelling for organizations that need both outbound messaging and coordinated replies. A business needing only a simple SMS sender, or more than 10 users without a custom arrangement, may find the plan structure less suitable.

Pros and cons

Pros: SMS, MMS, WhatsApp campaigns and a multi-channel inbox cover outbound and conversational messaging in one product.
Pros: Customer-controlled carrier accounts offer a path to provider rates without Sociocs per-message markups.
Pros: API, webhooks, and named integrations support connecting messages to existing systems.
Cons: Free and Standard are both limited to two channels, and Free has just one user and 1,000 messages per month.
Cons: Customers remain responsible for their own HIPAA compliance despite Sociocs' stated safeguards.

Alternatives

For a different seat and pricing model, Heymarket has a paid Standard plan at 49.00 USD per year, billed annually at $49 per user/month, with a two-user minimum and two-way messaging, a shared inbox, unlimited contacts, and templates. Salesmsg offers a paid Basic plan at 25.00 USD per month with one seat and one number; extra seats cost $10.00 per month and extra numbers $5.00 per month.

Sinch Engage is another paid option, with Basics including 3,000 SMS/mo, one user, and three automation workflows, and Conversations including 10,000 SMS/mo and two users; both plans have custom pricing. For a larger stated text allowance, Text Request has an Enterprise plan at 575.00 USD per month, billed monthly, with 20,000 included texts and 10 dashboards, plus $0.032 per additional text.

SMS-Magic is worth comparing if its SMS Automation plan at 582.00 INR per month or SMS Conversational Messaging plan at 1415.00 INR per month better matches a buyer's budget and requirements. Textline has an Essentials plan with a 600-message-credit minimum per month, three agents, and three-year conversation history, and offers HIPAA-compliant plans for an additional charge.

TextUs suits buyers considering a five-number, 5,000-message plan: Pro costs 299.00 USD per month, with monthly billing available on a 12-month or longer commitment and extra volume at $0.02 per message. MessageDesk is a freemium alternative, though its stated Team (yearly) plan costs 29.00 USD per year per user per month on an annual contract with a three-user minimum.

Verdict

Choose Sociocs if your team needs campaigns and shared, multi-channel customer conversations, especially when connecting messaging to existing systems or using a customer-controlled carrier account. Look elsewhere if the two-channel entry tiers are too restrictive, if you need a straightforward one-seat texting service, or if your team needs more than Premium's 10 users without negotiating a custom plan.
