Overview

Onro is a courier-operations platform for delivery businesses that need dispatch, driver execution, and customer ordering and tracking in one system. It is best suited to teams handling varied delivery workflows; its breadth is compelling, but the Business plan’s 1,500-delivery allowance and potential extra costs deserve close attention.

Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Kaunas, Lithuania, Onro supports on-demand, scheduled, pickup-only, delivery-only, pickup-and-delivery, hub-based, and multi-stop operations. That flexibility is useful for businesses whose work spans several delivery patterns, rather than operators looking for a narrowly focused tool.

Key features

Dispatch and driver execution

Dispatchers can assign work automatically or manually, monitor orders and drivers in real time, and optimize multi-drop routes. Vehicle dispatch, territory management, and live location tracking round out the operational controls. The driver app supports route execution, barcode scanning, proof of delivery with signatures and photos, cash on delivery, and earnings tracking. Together, these tools cover both getting work to drivers and recording what happened on the route.

Customer experience and integrations

Customers can book and track orders through web and mobile apps, receive SMS, email, and WhatsApp updates, chat with the team and drivers, and pay through a payment gateway. This gives delivery businesses a broad set of customer-facing functions without requiring them to assemble each touchpoint separately.

Onro’s integrations directory spans 78 connections across payments, POS, support, CRM, mapping, email, VoIP, automation, and accounting, including Stripe, PayPal, Google Maps, Shopify, and WooCommerce. That breadth should help teams connect common business systems, though custom integration work may incur development costs.

Security and support

Onro says data is encrypted in transit and at rest, passwords are not stored in plain text, and role-based groups can control access. It says it does not sell customer data, limits sharing to service vendors, and provides GDPR rights to EEA residents with responses within a month. For healthcare delivery operations, Onro says it supports HIPAA workflows and will sign a Business Associate Agreement; listed safeguards include role-based access, encryption, optional call masking, and digital proof of delivery.

Onro says it provides timely support and releases product updates almost monthly. Its help center covers setup, customization, integrations, and troubleshooting, a useful resource for teams adapting the platform to their processes.

Pricing

Demo Free costs 0.00 USD per free and includes all features, unlimited orders, unlimited users, unlimited drivers, and full customization, with no credit card required. This is an unusually broad way to explore the product, but it is a demo plan rather than the priced operating tier.

Free Demo costs 0.00 USD per free and offers unlimited demo use without a credit card. Onro also advertises a 14-day trial. The two free-plan descriptions make it possible to evaluate the platform before committing, but the details for the paid tier matter for real delivery volume.

Business costs 239.00 USD per month, billed monthly, and includes 1,500 deliveries. It is the clear fit for a team that can operate within that allowance and wants the core platform. The cap is a meaningful budgeting constraint for higher-volume operators; app publishing costs extra, and custom integrations may add development costs.

Enterprise has custom pricing and includes everything in Business, plus white-label customer portal, customer apps and driver apps, custom domains, and removal of Onro branding. It is the better match for businesses that need their own branded experience, though it also has a minimal setup fee.

Platforms

Onro supports Android, iOS, web, and API access. Mobile apps serve drivers and customers, while web and API availability give teams options for operations and integration with their existing stack.

Who it's for

Onro identifies on-demand delivery firms, food delivery businesses, pickup-and-delivery companies, ecommerce businesses, couriers, beverage businesses, laundries, and pharmacies as potential customers. Its range of workflows and customer communication tools make it most relevant to operators coordinating multiple parties or delivery modes. A business with volumes above 1,500 deliveries should weigh the Business allowance and custom Enterprise pricing before choosing it.

Pros and cons

Pro: Automatic and manual dispatch, live monitoring, and multi-drop routing support different dispatch styles and routes.
Pro: Driver execution and proof-of-delivery tools cover signatures, photos, barcodes, cash collection, and earnings.
Pro: Customer booking, tracking, messaging, chat, and payment options bring multiple customer touchpoints together.
Pro: The Demo Free plan includes all features and unlimited orders, users, and drivers, enabling broad evaluation without a credit card.
Con: Business includes 1,500 deliveries, which may constrain higher-volume operations.
Con: App publishing, custom integrations, and Enterprise setup can add costs beyond the headline monthly price.
Con: White-label apps and removal of Onro branding are reserved for Enterprise, which uses custom pricing.

Alternatives

For a broader dispatch-software shortlist, see Dispatch Software; for delivery-focused options, compare Delivery Management Software.

Choose Shipday if a free forever plan capped at 300 orders per month and 10 driver accounts is a better starting point; it supports web and API and offers a 14-day free platform trial without a credit card.

Fieldified may suit teams seeking scheduling, invoicing, CRM, and reporting, with a free plan subject to usage limits or a Basic plan at 49.00 USD per month billed for 5 users.

Resgrid is worth comparing if a free plan for up to 10 entities and broad platform support matter; its free tier is limited to US-West/North America and has push notifications and email but no SMS.

Super Dispatch is another option to assess for a free Carrier TMS Lite tier with a driver app and limited dashboard; its free plan lacks advanced reporting and automated invoicing.

Consider Skedulo when appointment booking, resource assignment, dispatching, leave management, and calendar, Gantt, and map views are central requirements; its Schedulers plan uses custom pricing.

Bringg is another paid, API-supported alternative.

Detrack may be a fit if a lower-cost paid API option is preferable: its Pro plan is 29.00 USD per month, billed monthly, and includes unlimited sub-users, 10 photos per job, and five years of data storage.

DispatchTrack is another paid, API-supported alternative.

Verdict

Onro is a strong fit for delivery operators that need dispatch, driver tools, customer-facing order workflows, and integration breadth in one platform. Its best reason to choose it is the coverage across varied delivery models; its main drawback is the Business plan’s 1,500-delivery cap alongside additional publishing, integration, or Enterprise setup costs. Choose it when those workflows outweigh the pricing constraints, and look elsewhere if predictable costs at higher delivery volume are the priority.
