Overview

Teachers can award points to students and classes, choose their own rewards, and record positive or negative news, sanctions, reports, comments and other events. That range makes the system useful for more than recognition alone, provided staff maintain consistent records.

Staff can refer news to colleagues and add follow-up information. Classes, forms and houses can be monitored for week-by-week improvement, giving school leaders a way to look beyond individual events at broader patterns. The product is designed for school behaviour management, not general-purpose rewards tracking.

Key features

Points, events and analysis

Custom rewards let teachers align recognition with their own approach, while incident tracking accommodates concerns as well as positive behaviour. Monitoring classes, forms and houses over time adds context to those records. The school plan extends analysis to whole-school and department views and includes homework and report tracking, making it the more relevant option for teams coordinating beyond a single classroom.

Communication and data handling

News referrals and follow-up notes support continuity between teachers. The school plan adds parent access; parents can view reports and receive automatic updates daily, weekly or termly. This makes the paid tier the fit for schools that want families involved through the system.

The product says data is protected in transit with SSL encryption and stored in the European Economic Area; the privacy policy specifies secure servers in the United Kingdom. Sixth Domain says the school owns identifiable student information and that it will not sell student information obtained through the software. Its policy states that the company is GDPR compliant and registered as a data controller with the ICO (Z3164232).

Pricing

Reward System uses a freemium model. For Teachers is 0.00 USD per free and includes behaviour tracking, analysis of forms and classes, referrals to other teachers, behaviour improvement tools and data security. It is a sensible starting point for teachers who need classroom-level records, but it does not include the parent access, whole-school and department analysis, homework and report tracking, MIS integration or 9-5 support offered in the school plan.

For Schools costs 480.00 GBP per year, billed per school per year. It suits schools that need those broader functions and support rather than just teacher-level tracking. The annual school charge is the key trade-off: schools without a need for parent access or wider coordination may find the free plan more appropriate.

Platforms

Reward System is available on the web, with online access described as possible from anywhere. That fits staff who need browser access, but the listed platform coverage does not include mobile or desktop apps.

Who it's for

Teachers can use the free plan for points, event records and class or form analysis. Senior leaders and schools are better served by the paid plan when they need whole-school reporting, parent communication, MIS integration or 9-5 support. Parents are users of the access provided through the school plan.

Pros and cons

Pros: Free teacher access includes behaviour tracking and class/form analysis, giving teachers a way to start without a school subscription.
Pros: Points, custom rewards and incident records cover positive reinforcement and behaviour concerns in one tool.
Pros: The school plan combines parent access, broader analysis, MIS integration and 9-5 support for schools that need coordinated use.
Cons: Parent access and whole-school functions require the £480.00 GBP per year school plan, which may be unnecessary for classroom-only use.
Cons: The platform is web-only, and the MIS integration is not tied to named systems.

Verdict

Reward System is a practical fit for teachers and schools that want points, incident records and progress analysis in a school-focused web tool, with a free teacher plan as an accessible starting point. Choose it when the school plan's parent access, MIS integration and broader reporting justify £480.00 GBP per year; look elsewhere if classroom tracking alone is not enough or web-only access does not fit the team's needs.
