Overview

TackQuote combines quote creation with a buyer portal, approval workflows, e-signatures, and order conversion. Buyers can review line items, comment, request changes, download a PDF, or sign through a unique link without setting up an account. That removes a buyer-side access step, while the platform’s caps on quotes, users, and integrations may constrain teams as usage grows.

Security features listed across the plans include row-level tenant isolation and multi-factor authentication. The company also describes trusted devices and IP allowlisting. For AI, customers bring their own provider key, which TackQuote describes as using a private model.

Key features

Quote building and buyer review

The quote builder supports contract price books, bundle rules for CPQ, tiered pricing, and optional add-ons. Those tools are relevant to sellers whose quotes depend on negotiated prices or configurable packages, rather than a simple fixed-price document. Buyers can then review and respond through the portal without an account, including requesting changes before signing.

Approvals, signing, and integrations

Approval workflows and multi-party e-signatures connect internal review with customer acceptance. E-signature is reserved for Pro in the plan comparison, so teams that require signing should account for that tier rather than assume it comes with the lower-priced portal plans.

TackQuote advertises 83 native connectors spanning commerce, ERP, CRM, accounting, and other systems, including Shopify, HubSpot, Salesforce, Xero, and QuickBooks. Two connectors are marked not yet available. Connector quotas vary by plan, so the headline breadth does not mean every integration is usable at every tier.

Developer access and limits

The developer platform provides a REST API and real-time quote lifecycle webhooks with HMAC signature validation. The Free plan has no API access, making it a poor fit for teams that need programmatic workflows from the outset. Quote, team-member, and integration limits are enforced; reaching a cap requires an upgrade before creating the next item.

Pricing

TackQuote is freemium, with monthly paid plans and a 14-day trial. The free tier is billed forever, but its 25 quotes per month, one team member, two integrations, and single Flow suit evaluation or very small workloads more than a growing sales operation.

Free — 0.00 USD per free, billed forever: 25 quotes per month, one team member, two integrations, and One Flow; no API access. It is the entry point for a narrow workflow, but not for API-dependent teams.
Basic — 29.00 USD per month, billed monthly: 50 quotes per month, three team members, three integrations, buyer portal, PDF quote export, and PDF generation. This is the lowest paid tier with buyer-facing review and document output, but its small quote and connector allowances leave little room for expansion.
Starter — 79.00 USD per month, billed monthly: 300 quotes per month, 10 team members, five integrations, and read-only HubSpot sync. It raises capacity substantially over Basic, though the stated HubSpot sync is read-only.
Pro — 199.00 USD per month, billed monthly: 750 quotes per month, 25 team members, 15 integrations, approval workflows, e-signature, analytics, CPQ bundles, storefront checkout, AI deal scoring, and priority support. This is the tier for teams that need the fuller sales process and quoting features, not just quote generation.
Agency — 399.00 USD per month, billed monthly: 2,500 quotes per month, 50 team members, 50 integrations, a white-label portal and custom domain, client sub-workspaces, and priority support. Its client separation and branding make it the clearest fit for agencies and consultancies.
Enterprise — 499.00 USD per month, custom pricing: unlimited quotes, team members, and integrations; SSO / SAML / OIDC; NetSuite integration; white-label portal; a dedicated customer success manager; and a 99.9% SLA. It targets complex operations that need unlimited capacity and enterprise identity or support commitments.

Plan selection is driven by more than quote volume: users and connectors are capped too, and upgrades are required before adding items once a limit is reached. Teams should match all three quotas to expected usage, particularly if they need API access, which the free tier lacks.

Platforms

TackQuote is available on web and through an API. The API and webhook support suit teams connecting quote events to existing systems, while the free plan’s lack of API access limits that option to paid tiers.

Who it's for

TackQuote fits small teams starting with buyer-facing PDFs, growing sales teams that need more quote capacity, and revenue teams that want approvals, signing, analytics, or CPQ bundles. Agencies can use client sub-workspaces and white-label branding on Agency. Enterprise is better suited to complex B2B operations needing SSO, NetSuite integration, unlimited quotas, and a defined SLA.

It is less compelling for teams that need API access on a free plan, require more capacity than a lower tier permits, or only need straightforward quote documents without a broader negotiation and order workflow.

Pros and cons

Pro: Buyers can comment, request changes, download, and sign without creating an account, reducing friction in the review step.
Pro: Price books, tiered pricing, add-ons, and CPQ bundle rules address more involved B2B quote structures.
Pro: REST API and signed lifecycle webhooks give developers a route to connect quote activity to other systems.
Con: The free plan has no API access, while the paid plans impose explicit quote, seat, and integration caps that can force an upgrade mid-growth.
Con: E-signature and approval workflows begin at Pro, so Basic and Starter do not cover the full approval-to-signing process.
Con: Two advertised connectors are not yet available, and connector allowances are tier-dependent.

Verdict

TackQuote is a strong fit for B2B sellers who need structured pricing, account-free buyer review, and a route from quote negotiation to signed order. Its API, webhook, and integration breadth strengthen the case for teams connecting that workflow to an existing stack. Look elsewhere if free API access is essential or if enforced seat, quote, and connector ceilings do not match expected growth; otherwise, choose the tier by the workflow features and quotas the team actually needs.
