Overview

Trusys AI brings agent assessment, security checks, runtime oversight, and governance controls into one platform, with Argus coordinating the lifecycle. It is best suited to teams accountable for production agents across engineering, security, and compliance. The breadth and customer-data handling are notable strengths; per-user charges and usage ceilings make capacity planning central to the decision.

Teams seeking a shared assurance workflow can use Trusys from evaluation through production monitoring. It is a stronger fit for organizations with formal governance responsibilities than for small projects needing only a single test or guardrail.

Key features

TruEval measures tool use, multi-turn reasoning, memory persistence, delegation, and collaboration across more than 75 scoring metrics. This gives engineering teams several ways to assess agent behavior, while the monthly metric allowance on Professional means frequent or broad evaluations can bring extra costs.

TruScout automates security testing and compliance validation for vulnerabilities, jailbreaks, and harmful outputs. In production, TruPulse traces agent actions and lineage and watches for behavioral drift, memory corruption, and policy violations. These capabilities connect pre-release checks with operational visibility, though their value depends on teams incorporating evaluation and monitoring into their workflows.

TruGuard applies policies at input, output, and action layers, including checks for prompt injection, confidential-data exposure, and unauthorized tool use. Evaluations are logged and versioned for on-demand compliance reports, and the site lists GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2 compliance alongside frameworks including the EU AI Act, ISO 42001, NIST, and OWASP Top 10.

SaaS agents connect through an API, custom agents through an SDK, and coding agents through MCP. LangGraph, CrewAI, and AutoGen are listed integrations. Trusys offers managed cloud hosting and self-hosting in a customer data center. The maker states it is SOC 2 Type II certified, encrypts evaluation data at rest and in transit, and keeps prompts, datasets, and results in the customer environment without using them to train its models. Those commitments may suit teams with tighter data controls; deployment and integration choices still need to match the existing stack.

Pricing

The freemium plan starts with Starter at 0.00 USD per free, billed forever. It allows 1 application, unlimited functional and security evaluations, 5,000 metrics/month, 30,000 production spans, 30 days of data retention, and unlimited prompt libraries and datasets. That is a useful no-cost way to begin evaluating the workflow, but the single-application limit and short retention window constrain broader production use.

Professional costs 69.00 USD per month, billed per user/ per month. It expands capacity to 5 applications, 30,000 metrics/month, 200,000 production spans, and 180 days of data retention. Over-quota metrics and spans cost extra, so teams should account for both user count and usage rather than treating the monthly rate as a flat team price.

Enterprise has custom pricing and includes 365 days of data retention, unlimited applications and projects, on-prem hosting, and dedicated support. It fits organizations needing those deployment and scale provisions; 24/7 enterprise support is advertised.

Platforms

Trusys supports API, web, and self-hosted use, with hybrid deployment also offered. This range gives teams options to connect services and keep deployment closer to their infrastructure, while the choice between managed cloud and customer-data-center hosting will matter most where operational control is a requirement.

Who it's for

AI and ML engineering teams can use the evaluation and tracing capabilities to assess agent behavior and production changes. CISOs, Chief AI Officers, GRC and compliance leaders, and platform engineering leads are the stated audience for the security, policy, reporting, and governance functions. Teams without production agents or formal assurance needs may find this lifecycle breadth more than they need.

Pros and cons

Pros: Evaluation, security testing, monitoring, and policy enforcement span the agent lifecycle, reducing the need to assemble those functions as separate workflows.
Pros: Customer-environment data handling, encryption, and self-hosted or on-prem options address concerns about sensitive evaluation data and deployment control.
Pros: Starter includes unlimited functional and security evaluations, making it possible to explore those workflows without a subscription.
Cons: Starter is limited to one application, 5,000 metrics/month, 30,000 production spans, and 30 days of retention, restricting sustained or multi-agent use.
Cons: Professional is priced per user and charges extra for over-quota metrics and spans, making total cost dependent on team size and activity.
Cons: Enterprise pricing is custom, so organizations needing unlimited projects, on-prem hosting, or longer retention cannot estimate cost from the listed plan rate.

Alternatives

For a broader comparison, browse AI governance tools. Choose Verisum if a freemium API and web option with a free-forever Explorer plan is a closer fit. Openlayer Guardrails is another freemium API, self-hosted, and web option; its Basic plan includes one member, five projects, and 20,000 inference logs/month.

Prufer offers a free plan with audit data retained for seven days and no uptime guarantee or SLA credits, which may suit teams willing to accept those limits. AI Verify is a free, open-source toolkit under the permissive Apache 2.0 license, a distinct option for teams prioritizing open-source tooling.

OneTrust Third-Party Management is a paid alternative centered on third-party management. Deeploy is a paid API, self-hosted, and web option with seat-based pricing and a three-seat minimum on its Core plan. AIGovernr has a freemium model and a Professional plan at 79.00 USD per month that includes website scans and governance reports. SAS/STAT is a paid alternative with a free trial and pricing available by contacting SAS.

Verdict

Choose Trusys AI if your organization needs one platform for evaluating, securing, monitoring, and governing production agents, especially when customer-environment data handling or self-hosted deployment matters. Its lifecycle coverage and deployment flexibility are the main reasons to choose it. Look elsewhere if you need predictable team-wide costs without usage overages, or only require a narrower governance or testing tool.
