Overview

Ordoro combines order operations with shipping, inventory, purchase orders, kitting, and dropshipping. Its integrations span Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Walmart, USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, and QuickBooks Online. That mix is useful for merchants connecting storefronts, carriers, and accounting, though plan limits and feature tiers make it important to map requirements before committing.

The service runs in a browser with an internet connection and requires no download. API access is included on Shipping Premium, Inventory plans, and Dropshipping plans. Ordoro is software, not a 3PL: it does not own warehouses or physically fulfill orders. Ordoro says it allows HTTPS traffic, requires password logins, and uses controlled facilities managed by providers including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Rackspace. Its databases are in the United States; accessing the service from outside the country entails consent to transfer personal data there.

Key features

Shipping

Shipping plans include discounted carrier rates, barcode scanning, pack verification, quick ship, and return labels. Paid tiers add automation rules and batch processing. Rate shopping, label printing, and shipment tracking address core shipping workflows; the free plan is useful for a small operation, but its 100-label monthly ceiling and single-user, single-channel setup are restrictive. Exceeding 100 labels temporarily locks the account until an upgrade or the next billing cycle.

Inventory and dropshipping

Inventory tools cover kitting and bundling, automation, analytics, allocation, and warehouse transfers. Premium adds purchase orders, bills of materials, manufacturing orders, stocktakes, and custom forecasting, making it the more relevant tier for teams managing purchasing and production as well as stock. Dropshipping plans include order routing, tracking writeback to sales channels, and automation; Premium adds supplier feeds and vendor portals. These specialized workflows are valuable when needed, but they come at a much higher price than shipping alone.

Support

Ordoro describes its support as U.S.-based, covering setup, troubleshooting, questions, and everyday workflows. That can matter for teams implementing operational processes, though the service does not replace a fulfillment partner.

Pricing

Ordoro uses a freemium model, with a free plan, paid plans from $59/mo, and a 15-day trial. Pricing differs by workflow, so a shipping price should not be treated as the cost of the full inventory or dropshipping operation.

Shipping Essential: 0.00 USD per free, with 100 labels/mo, 1 sales channel, 1 ship-from location, and 1 user. It is a narrow starting point for low-volume sellers; the label lock and single-seat limit make it a poor fit once activity grows.
Shipping Advanced: 59.00 USD per month, billed $59/mo, with 3,000 labels/mo, 5 sales channels, 5 ship-from locations, and unlimited users. This is the practical step up for a growing shipping operation that needs automation and batch processing.
Shipping Premium: 149.00 USD per month, billed $149/mo, with unlimited monthly orders, sales channels, ship-from locations, and users. It fits larger shipping operations needing room to scale without those listed capacity caps.
Essential: custom pricing, with 100 orders per month, 1 sales channel, 1 ship-from location, and 1 user.
Advanced: 59.00 USD per month, billed monthly, with 3,000 orders per month, 5 sales channels, 5 ship-from locations, and unlimited users. It fits businesses whose order volume and channel footprint remain within those limits.
Premium: 149.00 USD per month, billed monthly, with unlimited sales channels, ship-from locations, and users. Consider it when those capacities matter, while checking which other workflow-specific limits apply.
Dropshipping Advanced: 299.00 USD per month, billed $299/mo, with 1,000 dropshipments/mo and unlimited sales channels, dropship locations, and users. It gives supplier-routing operations room across channels, but the shipment quota remains a constraint.
Dropshipping Premium: custom pricing, with custom monthly dropshipments and unlimited sales channels, dropship locations, and users. It is the higher-capacity option for dropshipping teams whose volume exceeds Advanced.
Inventory Advanced: 349.00 USD per month, billed $349/mo, with 1,000 orders/mo and unlimited warehouses, sales channels, and users. It suits multi-warehouse teams that need inventory workflows without the Premium feature set.
Inventory Premium: 499.00 USD per month, billed $499/mo, with 1,000 orders/mo and unlimited warehouses, sales channels, and users. Its higher price is justified for operations needing the additional purchase, manufacturing, stocktake, and forecasting tools.

The cheaper tiers give up capacity, users, locations, or specialized features; match the quota to the relevant workflow rather than assuming each plan measures volume the same way.

Platforms

Ordoro supports web and API access. Browser access avoids a desktop download, while API access on specified plans is relevant to teams integrating operational workflows with their existing stack.

Who it's for

Ordoro is a strong fit for ecommerce merchants coordinating shipping across multiple sales channels, or teams that need inventory and dropshipping workflows alongside order operations. It is less suitable for a shop that can stay within a basic shipping allowance but needs many users or locations, and it is not the answer for businesses seeking a provider to store and ship their goods.

Pros and cons

Pro: Shipping, inventory, and dropshipping tools sit within one platform, with integrations across major storefronts, marketplaces, carriers, and QuickBooks Online.
Pro: Shipping Premium and the inventory and dropshipping plans include API access, useful for teams connecting Ordoro to other systems.
Pro: Inventory Premium extends beyond stock control into purchasing, manufacturing, stocktakes, and forecasting.
Con: Shipping Essential is capped at 100 labels monthly and one user, channel, and ship-from location; exceeding the label limit temporarily locks the account.
Con: Inventory and dropshipping are separate paid plan families, with entry prices well above shipping's $59/mo tier.
Con: Ordoro does not operate warehouses or physically fulfill orders, so merchants still need their own fulfillment arrangement.
Con: Data access from outside the United States entails consent to transfer personal data to U.S.-located databases.

Alternatives

For a narrower free multichannel option, Sellbrite offers a Forever Free plan with up to 30 orders per month, unlimited integrated sales channels, SKUs, and users; choose it when those order limits and its stated scope are a better fit than Ordoro's shipping and inventory breadth.

Manhattan Active Inventory Replenishment is a paid web and API option for readers evaluating inventory replenishment software instead. Extensiv Order Manager may suit teams looking for a Core plan that includes one external 3PL warehouse, unlimited sales channels, inventory and order management, analytics, and integrations.

Fabric Order Management is an enterprise order and inventory management alternative with demo-based details. ChannelEngine uses tailored pricing based on GMV and integration requirements, with a monthly license fee and a success-based fee on incremental marketplace GMV growth.

Fulfil uses custom pricing tailored to order volume, channels, and operational complexity. OpenOMS is worth considering for teams seeking a self-hosted option or a SaaS starting price of 99.00 PLN per month with no per-order or volume fees. Descartes Sellercloud offers an annual subscription of 1349.00 USD per year, based on order volume and add-ons.

Verdict

Choose Ordoro if your ecommerce operation needs connected shipping and order workflows, with inventory or dropshipping capabilities available as the business requires them. Its breadth and API access on selected plans are the case for it; the plan splits, significant costs for specialized workflows, tight free-tier cap, and lack of physical fulfillment are reasons to look elsewhere.
