Overview

RankCart is an SEO and AI search optimization platform for public-facing eCommerce stores, with web and API access. It is best suited to founders, marketers, and store operators who want prioritized, plain-language fixes rather than an expert-only SEO workflow. Its tier structure makes it possible to start small, but marketplace sellers and stores needing more than the plan’s store allowance should look elsewhere.

Key features

RankCart audits on-page SEO, structured data, images, page speed, and broken links, then ranks issues and estimates their revenue impact. That combination helps teams decide what to address first instead of treating every audit finding as equally important. Its AEO checks assess readiness for AI search tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity; the dedicated AEO Optimizer and Revenue Opportunity Detector are reserved for Growth.

The platform supports public-facing stores and offers platform-aware fix guides for Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, and Magento. Marketplaces including Amazon and eBay are not supported, so this is for a store website, not marketplace listings. Shopify merchants also get product-title and image-alt-text scans with AI-generated suggestions that they review before applying.

Audits crawl publicly accessible pages and do not access store admin, customer data, or order information. RankCart says it uses HTTPS/TLS, Supabase authentication, Stripe payment processing, and database row-level security. Account data remains while an account is active; personal data is removed within 30 days after account deletion. Support typically replies within 24 business hours.

Pricing

The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free, billed Forever free. It allows 5 audits/month and includes an SEO score overview, AI Readiness score, issue titles, a weekly email summary, and a basic audit report. It is a useful way to establish a baseline, but issue titles rather than full recommendations limit its value for teams that need guidance to make fixes.

Starter costs 19.00 USD per month, billed USD /month, with a 14-day free trial. It raises the allowance to 50 audits/month for 1 store and adds full issue recommendations, broken-link detection, an image alt-text optimizer, PDF reports, and email reports with fix guides. This is the practical entry tier for one store that needs actionable audit work, though it does not include the AEO Optimizer or revenue tools.

Growth costs 59.00 USD per month, billed USD /month, with a 14-day free trial. It includes unlimited audits across up to 3 stores, plus AEO Optimizer, Revenue Opportunity Detector, Competitor Intel, Schema Validator, and weekly auto-reports. It suits operators managing several stores or wanting the broader optimization toolkit.

Pro costs 129.00 USD per month, billed USD /month, with a 14-day free trial. It supports up to 10 stores and adds white-label PDF reports, keyword-level Revenue Intelligence, API access, and priority support. The API and branded reports make this the tier for teams that need to incorporate RankCart into wider workflows; smaller single-store operations may not need its expanded capacity. The free tier’s 5-audit cap and Starter’s 50-audit cap are the main constraints to weigh before upgrading.

Platforms

RankCart is available on web and via API. Its platform-aware guidance covers Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, and Magento, while its Shopify app focuses on product titles and image alt text. The listed platform support does not extend to Amazon or eBay marketplaces.

Who it's for

RankCart is aimed at founders, marketers, and store operators rather than SEO specialists. Plain-language explanations and step-by-step fix guides make it a better fit for teams that need practical direction; teams focused on marketplace listings or requiring the Pro API without paying for that tier should consider alternatives.

Pros and cons

Pros: Audit findings are prioritized and paired with revenue-impact estimates, helping non-specialists focus effort.
Pros: AI search readiness checks extend the audit beyond conventional SEO, with more advanced AEO tools on Growth.
Pros: The Free plan provides 5 monthly audits, so a store can assess the basics without a paid commitment.
Cons: Amazon and eBay are unsupported, ruling out marketplace-only sellers.
Cons: Free users see issue titles only, while full recommendations begin with Starter.
Cons: API access is limited to Pro, making lower tiers less suitable for teams that need programmatic integration.

Alternatives

For a broader selection of store-focused tools, browse Ecommerce SEO Software. Choose SEOPress if unlimited sites on its free plan or a 1-site annual Pro option fits better. Yoast SEO is an alternative with a free plan that includes real-time SEO and readability analysis, structured data, and indexing controls. AIOSEO offers free-plan availability and paid tiers organized by site counts, from 1 to 10.

Magento operators considering a paid extension can compare Mageplaza SEO Extension, with a Standard plan at 99.00 USD per year and a 60-day money-back guarantee, or MageWorx SEO Suite Ultimate, which has a 299.00 USD one-time Magento 2 Open Source option with no recurring payments and one year of updates and support. Mirasvit Advanced SEO Suite is another paid Magento extension, with an Open Source option at 179.00 USD once for the first year and then 108 USD per year for updates and support.

SEO Stack may suit teams comparing a paid web-and-API platform with a trial; its Basic tier costs 129.99 USD per month and includes 10 websites, 5 team members, 2M AI tokens, and 750 tracked keywords. Verbolia is another paid web-and-API option.

Verdict

RankCart is a strong fit for eCommerce operators who want store audits that turn SEO and AI-search findings into prioritized, revenue-aware actions. Its approachable guidance and free starting tier lower the barrier to getting useful audit direction, while Growth and Pro add meaningful capacity and workflow options. Choose another tool if marketplace coverage is essential, or if the Free and Starter limits do not match the number of audits and stores you need.
