Overview

Made by Rezi, founded in 2015 and based in Gangnam, Seoul, Rezi combines resume creation with tools for targeting and career-document writing. Its focus is the application process, not just document layout: it formats resumes for ATS compatibility as users type, evaluates sections, and helps identify keywords tied to a job description. That makes it a more useful choice for an active search than for someone who needs only a static, one-off resume.

Key features

ATS formatting and resume scoring: Rezi applies ATS-compatible formatting during drafting. Rezi Score assesses resume quality section by section and suggests improvements, giving applicants a structured way to revise rather than relying only on their own review.
Job targeting: AI Keyword Targeting scans a job description for missing resume keywords. It can focus editing on a particular opening, but candidates still need to ensure each addition accurately reflects their experience.
Career-document writing: AI tools support resume writing and editing, summaries, cover letters, and resignation letters. Resume import is supported, which may help applicants start from an existing document. Rezi also lists interview practice and job search among its career tools.
Exports and integrations: Paid plan comparisons include PDF and Microsoft Word downloads and Google Drive export. A free Chrome extension can autofill job applications, and Rezi Resume MCP is offered for managing resumes in LLMs. These extend the product beyond drafting, though the free plan's small PDF allowance limits repeated export.
Privacy and security: Rezi says users can permanently delete their data by closing their account from the dashboard and that it does not sell private personal information. The company site displays an AICPA SOC 2 Certified badge. Support is available at support@rezi.io.

Pricing

Rezi uses a freemium model. The free plan costs 0.00 USD per free, billed $0, and includes one resume, one AI interview, three PDF downloads, and Standard Format templates. That is enough to explore the workflow or prepare a single application, but the one-resume and three-download limits are restrictive for a sustained search.

Pro costs 29.00 USD per month, billed $29 / month. It includes unlimited resumes, unlimited AI interviews, unlimited PDF downloads, all templates, and a free monthly review. This is the practical choice for applicants revising several versions or exporting regularly; the paid step primarily removes the free plan's volume constraints and opens the full template set.

Lifetime costs 149.00 USD per month, billed one-time payment. It provides permanent access to Pro features, unlimited resumes, full AI tools, and unlimited downloads. The one-time billing term distinguishes it from recurring Pro, but its upfront cost is best suited to users who expect ongoing use and prefer not to renew monthly.

Enterprise costs 99.00 USD per month, billed $99 / month per 200 users. It includes everything in Pro plus SSO, webhooks, and team roles, for universities, agencies, and career sites serving job seekers. Its organization features make it the relevant option for teams rather than individual applicants.

Platforms

Rezi is available on web and iOS, with a browser extension. The Chrome extension can autofill job applications and is free to use. This combination suits applicants who want to work across resume creation and application submission, while the extension is a distinct tool rather than a replacement for the resume builder.

Who it's for

Rezi is best for individual job seekers who tailor resumes to multiple openings and want structured prompts for formatting, scoring, and keyword edits. Pro fits applicants who need more than one resume or frequent downloads. Universities, agencies, and career sites serving job seekers are the audience for Enterprise's organization controls. Someone seeking only a single polished file may find the free tier's limits manageable, but may not need a recurring plan.

Pros and cons

Pro: ATS-compatible formatting, section-level scoring, and job-description keyword targeting address distinct stages of resume revision.
Pro: Pro removes the free plan's resume and PDF-download caps and adds all templates and a monthly review.
Pro: The free extension adds application autofill, while paid plans include PDF, Word, and Google Drive export.
Con: The free plan permits only one resume and three PDF downloads, limiting its usefulness for applicants tailoring and submitting many versions.
Con: Pro's 29.00 USD per month recurring price is a meaningful commitment for someone who needs only a one-time document.

Alternatives

For a broader comparison, see AI Resume Builders, Resume Builders, and Resume Design Software. For a cover-letter-focused shortlist, browse AI Cover Letter Generators or Cover Letter Software.

Kickresume is another freemium resume and cover-letter option, with Android, iOS, and web support and free templates for both documents; choose it if mobile platform coverage and its free template set matter more than Rezi's stated scoring and keyword-targeting tools.
OphyAI has a free plan and free trial, with a one-time five-credit allowance and an application tracker; choose it if that tracker and trial are more relevant to your workflow.
Teal offers unlimited resume creation on its free plan, ten free templates, basic analysis, and the top five job-description keywords; choose it if unlimited free resume creation matters more than Rezi's free interview and export allowances.
AI Job Agent lists usage quotas for auto-applies, autofills, cover letters, and ATS refinements; consider it if those job-application quotas are the primary fit you are seeking.
ApplyMate Cover Letter Generator offers one complete letter free without a password, card, or subscription; choose it for a single cover letter without taking on a plan.
Cover Letter Tailor offers two free letters per day with tone options and quick or detailed modes; choose it if cover-letter drafting is the main need.
CoverAI offers five free cover letters and five resume PDF downloads daily, with a paid plan at 199.00 INR per month; consider it if those daily free allowances suit your workflow.
Cvali Cover Letter Generator includes a cover-letter tool among a free plan's scan, rewrite, template, export, tracker, and extension allowances; consider it if that combination is a better match for your application process.

Verdict

Choose Rezi if you are actively tailoring resumes and want ATS-oriented formatting, section-level revision guidance, and job-description keyword prompts in one workflow. Its main advantage is the connection between resume building and targeted editing; its main drawback is that meaningful repeated use pushes individual applicants toward a $29 monthly plan after a tightly capped free tier. Look elsewhere if you need only a one-off document, or if application tracking or cover-letter output is your priority.
