Overview

Routinery turns a routine into an ordered series of tasks rather than a checklist to consult on your own. Users can schedule routines for particular weekdays and times, then review daily, weekly, and monthly completion analytics. Popular and celebrity-recommended routines offer starting points for those who would rather adapt a template than build every sequence from scratch.

The design is most compelling when prompts and timing help users follow through in the moment. People who only need to capture tasks, or who want a broad desktop planning workspace, may find its mobile-first routine focus too specific.

Key features

Timed, adjustable guidance

Voice alerts and push notifications guide users through timed steps. The timer can pause, skip, advance automatically, or have its duration adjusted; white noise is also supported. These controls make it possible to keep a routine moving while adapting when a task takes longer or needs to be skipped. For users who prefer to work from an untimed list, the guidance may add little.

Scheduling and habit tracking

Routines can recur on chosen weekdays and at particular times of day, and calendar sync is supported. Daily, weekly, and monthly tracking with completion analytics helps users review consistency as well as complete an individual sequence. Custom reminders add another way to fit prompts to a routine.

AI assistant access and privacy

Through MCP, ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI assistants can view, create, and edit routines. OAuth 2.0 is used, and changes require explicit confirmation before they are applied. Connecting an assistant also shares routine data with the AI platform the user selects, a material trade-off for anyone putting personal schedules into an external service. Routinery’s Korean privacy policy says it does not sell personal information and describes consent-based use of marketing and nonessential tracking.

Pricing

The free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and allows two routines with unlimited checklists. That is enough to try the timed workflow or keep a small set of core routines, but users with more than two active routines will need a paid plan.

Premium Monthly costs 5.00 USD per month, billed monthly. It suits users who want paid access without committing for a year. Premium Annual costs 36.00 USD per year, billed annually, making it the lower-cost option for users prepared to pay for a year upfront. The pricing note includes a 7-day trial; recurring schedules are supported. The plan details do not give a separate paid routine quota, so the clearest practical dividing line is the free plan’s two-routine cap.

Platforms

Routinery is available on Android and iOS, with the App Store listing also supporting iPad and Apple Watch. Its mobile availability suits routines carried through the day, but readers seeking a listed web or desktop app should consider another planner.

Who it's for

Routinery is a strong fit for people who want a timed prompt through recurring tasks and a record of whether habits are sticking. It can suit users managing ADHD or busy schedules, as well as anyone trying to establish habits. It is less suited to people who need many routines on a free plan, primarily use desktop software, or do not want routine data shared with an AI provider when using MCP.

Pros and cons

Pros: Timed steps, voice prompts, notifications, and flexible timer controls support active follow-through rather than passive list keeping.
Pros: Weekday and time scheduling, calendar sync, and completion analytics connect daily execution with longer-term habit review.
Pros: MCP access can let users manage routines through supported AI assistants, with explicit confirmation required for changes.
Cons: The free plan stops at two routines, a meaningful constraint for users organizing several parts of their day.
Cons: MCP shares routine data with the selected AI platform, so users sensitive to that exchange may prefer not to connect an assistant.
Cons: Android and Apple mobile support do not make it a fit for users who need a web or desktop workflow.

Verdict

Choose Routinery if timed prompts, adaptable routine steps, and habit completion analytics are the tools you need to make recurring tasks stick. The two-routine free cap is the main reason to look elsewhere if you manage several routines, while MCP’s data sharing deserves consideration before connecting an AI assistant.
