Overview

Sayduck combines a product configurator, interactive 3D viewer, app-less augmented reality, and virtual photography. Shoppers can change colors, materials, sizes, and components with visual feedback, while teams manage models and their variants, scenes, materials, and configurations in a shared library. The breadth is useful for brands that want more than a static product viewer, though the experience depends on having appropriate 3D models.

The viewer runs in modern mobile and desktop browsers through WebGL, requires no plug-ins, and is stated to be less than 500 kB. This keeps the interaction browser-based rather than asking customers to install an app. Sayduck also describes secure cloud storage for assets in its proprietary 3D format.

Key features

Configuration and visualization

No-code tools let users build product variations from colors, materials, sizes, and component combinations. That gives shoppers a more informative way to compare configurable products, and avoids requiring developers to code each variation. The API can support custom interfaces and navigation, making Sayduck more adaptable for teams that need their own presentation layer.

AR and virtual photography

Customers can preview a product in their own space from a mobile browser without downloading an app. The same 3D models can also produce product photos and lifestyle scenes, which may make the platform more useful than an AR-only tool for teams creating catalog imagery as well as interactive product views.

Assets, integrations, and requirements

Sayduck supports OBJ, glTF, and GLB uploads, and its library brings models, variants, materials, scenes, and configurations together. Embeds are described for Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, and custom stacks; the BigCommerce app syncs product data and supports real-time updates to pricing, images, and inventory. CAD import is supported, but neither integrations nor import remove the need for suitable 3D assets: a model is required for the interactive viewer and AR. Sayduck offers modeling services, with one iteration round included in production and additional model moderation available for an extra charge.

GDPR rights for people in EU member states are described in Sayduck’s privacy policy. Its main server is in the United States, and personal data may be transferred there with safeguards described in the policy. The terms say user content is deleted from Sayduck’s servers when service provision ends.

Pricing

Sayduck uses paid subscription plans with custom pricing, billed monthly or annually and invoiced at the beginning of each subscription period. Plan limits apply, additional services or tiers may cost extra, and prices exclude VAT. A free 14-day trial gives teams a short window to assess the fit before committing, but there is no free plan described.

Because plan prices and limits vary, teams should confirm the subscription terms, quotas, and any additional service charges before choosing a tier. 3D model creation is a separate potential cost: prices start at 179 USD for very simple models. That matters most to teams without assets ready to upload; production includes one iteration round, with further model moderation charged extra.

Platforms

Sayduck is available through web and API. Browser support covers most modern mobile and desktop browsers; the app-less AR experience is specifically described for mobile browsers.

Who it's for

Sayduck is a strong candidate for eCommerce brands and manufacturers selling products with meaningful options, especially when customers benefit from seeing a configuration or checking its scale and placement in a room. It also fits teams that can reuse 3D models for both interactive sales experiences and product or lifestyle imagery. It is a weaker fit for teams without 3D assets, with little appetite for modeling costs, or seeking a free tier with transparent fixed subscription pricing.

Pros and cons

Pros

One platform for three product experiences: Configuration, browser-based AR, and model-generated imagery can serve both product exploration and catalog content.
Flexible presentation: No-code variations and an API for custom interfaces give teams a choice between ready-made configuration and a tailored frontend.
Commerce connection: BigCommerce product-data sync and real-time pricing, image, and inventory updates can reduce friction in keeping the product experience aligned with the store.
Browser-first viewing: A plug-in-free, sub-500 kB viewer avoids an app download for shoppers and is supported by most modern mobile and desktop browsers.

Cons

3D assets are a prerequisite: The viewer and AR require models; teams without them must account for modeling services, which start at 179 USD for very simple models.
Model production can add cost: One iteration round is included, but additional model moderation costs extra.
Subscription costs need confirmation: Plans use custom pricing, apply limits, exclude VAT, and may incur charges for added services or tiers.
US data hosting matters for some teams: The main server is in the United States, so organizations assessing data transfers should review the safeguards described in the privacy policy.

Alternatives

3DBAE is worth comparing for teams seeking a free entry point: its Hobby plan is free forever, with 100 MB storage, one project, up to two models and two environment assets, and no AI credits.

Spheri may suit a team that wants to start with a free single-product plan and can accept no live configurator, a watermark, and limited storage and CDN use; its paid Studio plan is 149.00 EUR.

Cylindo is an alternative for teams prepared to compare quote-based platform and 3D design options against their catalog size and sales channels.

KeyShot is a paid option with a free trial and a professional plan that includes real-time ray-tracing preview and support for 34+ CAD formats through native plugins.

Zolak may be a better fit for teams wanting monthly-priced CMS access, cloud infrastructure, and 3D asset management, with its Platform Fee at 25.00 USD per month.

3D Product Config is a lower-cost option for teams whose needs fit its Starter plan at 29.00 USD per month, which includes 20 configurators, 100 3D model files, 200 texture files, and a 3D viewer and configurator.

Mazing is another paid option for teams comparing hosted 3D/AR models and monthly AI-generated models, lifestyle renderings, and product videos.

Spellexo offers a free plan for one product or variant, but that plan requires the .spellexo format.

Verdict

Choose Sayduck if your eCommerce team wants one system for product configuration, browser-based AR, and 3D-generated imagery, and can supply or budget for the required models. Its combination of no-code variations, API customization, and commerce integrations is the case for choosing it. Look elsewhere if you need a free plan, fixed published subscription pricing, or a solution that does not depend on 3D assets.
