Overview

Wodify is gym-management software for gyms, studios and martial arts academies, including CrossFit and boutique fitness businesses. It suits operators who want billing, scheduling and member tools in one system, with API access reserved for higher plans. Its breadth is useful, but the $199-per-month entry price and processing fees make plan fit and payment costs central to the decision.

Key features

Wodify brings billing, class scheduling, client management, digital waivers and contracts together. Online booking and automated billing address recurring operational work, while the member app lets clients book classes and appointments, view workouts, and track performance and attendance. That combination is a practical fit for businesses that want members to handle routine interactions in the same platform.

Accelerate adds lead management, insights dashboards, family billing, pre-built automations, email campaigns and an on-demand media library. These tools make it the more relevant tier for operators focused on turning inquiries into memberships and communicating with members at scale. Performance tracking, custom websites, unlimited automations, branded apps and 24/7 access appear as add-ons, so buyers should distinguish core plan features from optional capabilities.

Integrations include QuickBooks, Slack, Facebook Leads, Google Analytics, MyZone and Zapier. API access is available on Accelerate and Ultimate, where admins can generate keys for third-party tools or custom integrations. That opens up more room to connect Wodify to an existing stack, but Essentials is not the choice for teams that require API access.

Card processing can be as low as 2.7% + 30¢ and ACH as low as 1.5% + 30¢, with no monthly processing fees. Standard processing typically takes 2–3 business days; Ultimate includes 1-day payouts. The lower processing rates are conditional on being as low as those figures, so payment volume and payout needs belong in the plan comparison.

Pricing

Wodify has no free plan. Essentials costs 199.00 USD per month, with month-to-month billing for services; a current promotion reduces the price to $99/month per location. It includes unlimited clients, unlimited employees and two automations. This is the defined entry point for a single-location operator that needs core gym administration, but the two-automation cap limits how much routine work it can automate.

Accelerate has custom pricing and includes 15 automations, plus its lead, marketing, analytics, family-billing and media features. Ultimate also has custom pricing and unlimited automations; it is the fit for teams that need the highest automation allowance and 1-day payouts. Multi-location support is included, though the plan terms provided do not assign it to a particular tier.

Platforms

Wodify supports web, Android and iOS, along with API access on Accelerate and Ultimate. The mobile app gives members booking, workout, performance and attendance functions. Google Play states that app data is encrypted in transit and that the app may collect personal and financial information; app support is directed to support@wodify.com.

Who it's for

Wodify is aimed at gym, studio and martial arts academy operators, including CrossFit and boutique fitness businesses. It is strongest for organizations seeking joined-up billing, scheduling and member engagement, and for larger or growth-minded teams that can use lead management, automations or API connections. A business looking for a free starting tier, or one needing API access at the entry level, should look elsewhere.

Pros and cons

Pros: Core billing, scheduling, client management, waivers and contracts sit in one platform, reducing the need to piece together basic gym operations.
Pros: The member app supports bookings, workouts, performance and attendance, covering several common member tasks.
Pros: Accelerate and Ultimate provide API keys, and the named integrations include tools for accounting, messaging, analytics and automation.
Cons: Essentials allows only two automations, while unlimited automations are reserved for Ultimate.
Cons: Accelerate and Ultimate use custom pricing, so their cost cannot be compared from a fixed published monthly figure.
Cons: Processing fees apply, and standard payouts typically take 2–3 business days; 1-day payouts require Ultimate.

Alternatives

Choose PushPress if a free plan matters: its free tier has no monthly fees and includes unlimited leads, admins, members and staff, though credit-card processing is 4.99% + .30 and ACH is 2.89% + .30. Its listed Pro plan is 159.00 USD per month.

ABC Trainerize is a freemium option with a free Basic plan limited to one coaching client and one client seat; it is a better match when starting with individual coaching rather than Wodify’s gym operations scope. My PT Hub is another alternative for coaches: its Starter plan is 22.50 USD per month when paid monthly on an annual term, with three clients, 50 workouts, 50 nutrition plans and payment processing.

SharkFit offers free meal and workout logging for individuals, while its business/gym plan is quoted per gym and includes branded member and coach apps. GymKonex is worth comparing for its free trial and Starter plan at 149.99 XAF per year, which covers one location, five staff accounts and 50 members.

Funxtion FXMOBILE is an alternative to consider for its Content Only plan, which provides API access, 3,500+ exercises, content uploads and standard support. EGYM Branded Member App is another option for teams comparing member-app products. Exercise.com Websites offers custom packages for businesses that want a quoted website package.

Verdict

Wodify is a strong fit for gym, studio and martial arts operators who want core operations and member engagement under one roof, with higher plans opening API access and deeper growth tools. Choose it when that breadth is worth a paid starting plan; look elsewhere if a free tier, fixed pricing for advanced features or entry-level API access is essential.
