Overview

Skema3D brings conversational design, visual generation and product-development outputs into one workspace. Users describe fabric, fit and garment details in plain language, then refine the design through chat. The practical appeal is continuity: a concept can lead to garment visuals, model imagery and a tech pack rather than stopping at an isolated image.

The workspace also connects designs to manufacturing options: users can request factory samples from a tech pack and view partner pricing, lead times and production tiers. That makes it relevant to teams exploring production, though the available facts do not establish the scope or availability of factory partners.

Key features

Design and visualization

Garment variations and image-to-design are supported, alongside chat-based refinement. Model photos can be generated with choices for pose, setting and model type. These tools suit teams that need to explore looks and create product imagery; they do not replace native vector artwork when precise editable assets are required.

Tech packs and commerce

Generated tech packs combine flat sketches, fabric swatches, colorways, measurements and construction notes, and can be exported as PDFs for manufacturers. Skema3D can also export garment renders, product descriptions and basic specifications to Shopify listings, a useful bridge from design work to store content.

Security and support

Skema3D says it encrypts data in transit and at rest, limits production-system access to authorized personnel, and does not use uploaded designs or generated content to train AI models unless users opt in. Support can be reached at support@skema3d.com, with a stated aim to respond within 24 hours.

Pricing

Skema3D has a free plan for starting design generation, with premium features on paid plans. Commercial use is supported. Its paid subscriptions are not accepting new subscriptions, so the published tiers do not currently offer a straightforward route for new customers to buy a subscription.

Plan	Price	What it includes	Best fit
Free	Free	Start design generation; premium features are paid.	Trying the design-generation workflow before committing.
Starter	20.00 USD per month	1,333 credits per month, approximately 133 images. Not accepting new subscriptions.	A smaller design workload, if subscription access reopens.
Pro	100.00 USD per month	4,000 credits per month, approximately 400 images. Not accepting new subscriptions.	Higher-volume image generation, if subscription access reopens.
Enterprise	Custom pricing	Unlimited team members, custom AI model training, API access, custom integrations, SSO and advanced security.	Organizations needing team scale, integrations or enterprise controls.

The lower paid tier gives up most of Pro’s monthly generation capacity, while Enterprise shifts to custom pricing and adds team, integration and security provisions. No seat count or renewal terms are given for Starter or Pro. The free plan’s specific usage caps are not established, so it is difficult to judge how far a team can take a project without paying.

Platforms

Skema3D is available on web and through an API. Its PDF tech-pack export and Shopify workflow support delivery into manufacturing and commerce processes. For Illustrator workflows, exports are high-resolution PNGs, not native vectors; teams that depend on editable vector files will need another step or a different tool.

Who it's for

Skema3D is aimed at startup fashion brands, independent designers, product-development teams, and fashion students or beginners. It is the strongest fit for people who value a connected path from garment idea to tech pack and product imagery. It is a weaker fit for teams whose core requirement is native vector editing, or those who need to onboard through a currently available paid subscription.

Pros and cons

Pro: Chat-based design can flow into garment visuals and structured tech packs, reducing the handoff between concept and product documentation.
Pro: Tech packs include practical manufacturing details, and PDF export gives teams a shareable production document.
Pro: Shopify exports connect renders, descriptions and basic specifications to store listings.
Con: Starter and Pro are not accepting new subscriptions, limiting access to the published paid tiers.
Con: Illustrator workflow exports are PNGs rather than native vectors, limiting editability for vector-dependent teams.
Con: Free-plan usage caps are not established, making it hard to plan sustained work around free access.

Alternatives

For other options, see AI Fashion Design Generators.

Fashion Diffusion is worth considering when a lower monthly entry point and developer API access matter: its Starter plan is 12.00 USD per month for 100 credits, with Android, iOS, macOS, web and API support.
The New Black AI may suit a small team that wants seats included at a lower price: its Starter plan is 15.00 USD per month and includes 200 credits and 3 seats, with Android, iOS, web and API support.
Kleiders is an option for teams looking for pattern-generation exports such as SVG, DXF and PDF; its free trial lasts 7 days and includes limited generation requests.
Textile Designer AI is another option for textile-design needs, with web, macOS, Windows and API support.
AIT AI Tools may fit users seeking a web-based freemium toolset; its free plan provides 20 credits per day, with usage limited to 1–2 uses per tool in a rolling four-hour window.
Catwalk.AI is an alternative for iOS and macOS users seeking try-on functionality, with paid try-on packs available.
Mew Design AI Product Mockup Maker is a web-based freemium alternative with 50 signup credits and 100MB of storage on its free plan.
Resleeve offers a web-based free tier with $25 in credits and a Basic plan at 19.00 USD per month.

Verdict

Skema3D is a compelling fit for fashion builders who want conversational garment ideation to lead into tech packs, model visuals and manufacturing exploration. Its production-oriented outputs and Shopify handoff give it a clearer product-development role than a design generator alone. The main reasons to look elsewhere are practical: new subscriptions to its paid tiers are closed, and Illustrator exports are not editable native vectors. Start with the free design-generation access if the workflow fits; choose another platform if paid capacity or vector deliverables are requirements today.
