Overview

Yoodli lets people rehearse conversations with AI personas and receive feedback on delivery, clarity, pacing, and effectiveness. Scenarios include discovery calls, objection handling, demos, and interviews; multi-persona sessions can represent interview panels, group presentations, or buying committees. That focus makes it a better fit for deliberate conversation practice than for general-purpose speech recording.

Practice supports more than 40 languages. Yoodli also offers a sales content library, content authoring, certification workflows, role-play coaching, and manager analytics through a blended delivery model. It states that it is SOC 2 Type 2 certified and GDPR compliant.

Key features

Practice and feedback

Scenario-based rehearsal gives users a concrete situation to work on, while feedback across four communication dimensions provides a useful focus for improvement. Pro includes live AI roleplays and feedback on uploaded recordings. The five-session lifetime Starter allowance is enough to sample the approach, but not to support regular practice.

Training and integration

Yoodli supports SCORM, LTI, and web embeds for learning management systems, plus APIs for custom integrations with proprietary workflows. Named integrations include Workday, Highspot, Docebo, Intellum, Flockjay, Salesforce, Gong, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Snowflake, Google Drive, AWS, Azure, and GCP. That breadth makes it relevant to teams fitting roleplay into an existing training or business stack; organizations should still match the integrations and plan controls to their deployment needs.

Pricing

Yoodli is freemium, with paid individual plans billed annually at the stated monthly rates. The free Starter plan costs 0.00 USD per free and allows five lifetime sessions, making it a limited introduction rather than an ongoing practice option.

Pro: 8.00 USD per month, billed annually. It allows up to 10 roleplays per week and adds live AI roleplays, feedback on uploaded recordings, and a user community. This suits individuals who want recurring practice but can work within a weekly quota.
Advanced: 20.00 USD per month, billed annually. It offers unlimited roleplays, excludes roleplay data from AI training by default, and includes professional development reimbursement. It is the stronger individual fit for frequent practice or users who prioritize that data-use boundary.
Team & Enterprise: custom pricing. It includes unlimited custom roleplays per user, team dashboards, SSO, SCIM, and LMS and HRIS integrations. This is the organizational tier for teams that need administration and deployment controls; custom pricing makes it a sales-led rather than self-serve choice.

Roleplay data on Advanced, Team, and Enterprise plans is excluded from AI training by default. Data from individual Starter and Pro sessions may be used to improve the platform, so users with stricter data requirements should consider Advanced or an organizational plan. Individual cancellations stop auto-renewal, but access continues through the paid billing period and fees are not refunded.

Platforms

Yoodli supports web access and an API. The API and custom integration offering matter most to teams connecting roleplay to proprietary systems; the product is not presented as a broad set of native desktop or mobile apps.

Who it's for

Yoodli is a good fit for individuals practicing interviews, public speaking, or workplace communication, and for organizations embedding roleplay in sales, learning and development, or related programs. It is less suited to someone who only needs occasional practice and expects a generous free allowance, or to a buyer who requires individual Starter or Pro roleplay data to be excluded from AI training.

Pros and cons

Pros: More than 40 languages and multi-persona scenarios support varied practice needs, including panel-style or group conversations.
Pros: SCORM, LTI, web embeds, APIs, and named business integrations offer several paths to fit training into an existing stack.
Pros: Advanced offers unlimited roleplays and default exclusion of roleplay data from AI training; Team & Enterprise add SSO, SCIM, dashboards, and LMS/HRIS integrations.
Cons: Starter ends after five lifetime sessions, and Pro is capped at 10 roleplays per week, limiting sustained use on the cheapest tiers.
Cons: Individual Starter and Pro session data may be used to improve the platform, while cancellation does not bring a refund.
Cons: Team & Enterprise uses custom pricing, so organizations cannot assess its cost from a fixed monthly rate.

Alternatives

SalesRoleplay is worth considering when a larger platform range and a free allowance of 10 AI roleplay sessions per month with three pre-built personas better match the intended evaluation.

Continu is a paid alternative for teams seeking a learning platform with plans organized around monthly active-user bands.

Seismic is a paid option to consider when an enablement cloud is a closer fit than a freemium roleplay coach.

Teachfloor may suit buyers prioritizing course delivery: its Startup plan is 89.00 USD per month and includes 50 user seats, unlimited courses, and 10 GB of file storage.

AlphaLearn is another paid LMS option for teams evaluating cloud or enterprise learning systems.

Mindtickle is a paid readiness and coaching alternative; its Readiness plan includes training, virtual roleplays, coaching, analytics, and one RTD program, but no two-way AI Role Play.

Paradiso LMS is a paid alternative for buyers comparing LMS plans, including a Growth tier covering 1–500 seats and five courses.

Sparring is a paid option with an enterprise sales-team focus.

Verdict

Choose Yoodli if you need repeatable spoken roleplay practice, useful communication feedback, and integrations that can place it inside a team training stack. The five-session free cap, Pro quota, and individual-plan data terms are meaningful constraints; look elsewhere if they conflict with your usage or privacy requirements, or if you need a fixed organizational price before engaging sales.
