Overview

ZMP combines paid, owned and earned media to support customer acquisition, growth and retention. Its identity capabilities connect known and anonymous users across devices and map relationships between customers and their networks. That breadth can help teams coordinate engagement across channels, but also makes fit with an existing stack and data workflows central to the decision.

Key features

Identity and orchestration

ZMP activates campaigns across email, social, CTV, display, video, mobile and in-store touchpoints. Teams can orchestrate personalised communications through SMS, push notifications, web personalisation, WhatsApp and mobile wallets. Mobile app journeys, web personalisation and real-time triggers support responsive cross-channel programs; cookieless capabilities, Identity Manager, behavioural intender audiences and Customer Pulse add identity and first-party data tools.

AI, analytics and data

Zeta describes more than 500 built-in AI agents for process automation, data analysis and customer experience work. Agents can generate audiences or check campaign quality, while the Opportunity Engine answers questions through natural-language prompts. Zeta says real-time AI assistance can reduce campaign build times by more than 30%, and that campaigns can be planned and deployed without code or IT tickets. These are useful ambitions for teams seeking faster campaign operations, though the breadth of AI claims does not by itself establish how they fit a particular workflow.

Zeta Intelligence brings together an Opportunity Explorer, forecasting, generative AI, attribution modelling and advanced reporting. Performance simulation, ROI forecasting, A/B and multivariate testing, and attribution of online and offline actions give teams several ways to assess campaign performance. Data Flows provides low-code data onboarding and workflow management across disparate sources, while Customer Pulse enriches first-party data.

Integration, access and safeguards

ZMP offers REST APIs for people, resources, events and recommendations, plus iOS and Android SDKs. Its integrations ecosystem covers system applications and channels, with Zeta inviting clients to ask about additional integrations. SAML 2.0 single sign-on, IP whitelisting and multi-factor authentication provide access-control options. Zeta says ZMP supports GDPR compliance, honors Global Privacy Control opt-out signals and offers EU data processing capabilities.

Customers receive a dedicated team that can include strategists and data scientists, with strategy, integration and analytics experts available from day one. ZMP Learning Studio offers training and certifications, and a marketplace connects customers with agency and technology partners. This service and partner layer may suit teams that want expert help with implementation; it is less compelling for buyers looking for a clearly self-service product.

Pricing

ZMP is paid software with custom pricing. Zeta invites prospective customers to request a demo or contact the company; there is no stated public price or trial offer. That means buyers cannot compare a published entry tier or trial period before engaging with sales, so teams should clarify the commercial terms and scope directly.

Zeta Marketing Platform

The single named plan has custom pricing. It is the option for organizations seeking ZMP's cross-channel orchestration, identity, analytics and developer access together. No public seat counts, quotas, trial length or renewal terms are stated, so prospective customers should confirm those points during the buying process.

Platforms

ZMP is available on Android, iOS and web, with API access. The mobile SDKs and REST references give development teams integration routes for apps and platform data, while web access supports marketing operations across the broader product.

Who it's for

ZMP is a strong candidate for businesses that need to coordinate personalised customer experiences across many channels, connect identity across devices, and combine campaign measurement with data onboarding. Its dedicated strategists and data scientists, training and partner marketplace may be especially useful where implementation spans marketing and technical teams. Teams seeking public pricing, a stated trial or a lightweight self-service starting point should look elsewhere.

Pros and cons

Pros

Broad channel orchestration: Email, social, CTV, display, video, mobile, in-store and additional messaging channels support programs that cross customer touchpoints.
Identity and data tools: Cross-device identity, cookieless capabilities, first-party data enrichment and low-code Data Flows address several connected marketing data needs.
Measurement depth: Forecasting, simulation, testing and online/offline attribution help teams evaluate campaigns beyond delivery metrics.
Developer and implementation support: REST APIs, mobile SDKs, security options, dedicated experts and formal training give technical and marketing teams multiple paths to adoption.

Cons

Opaque buying terms: Custom pricing and no stated trial leave buyers without a public cost benchmark or trial-based evaluation route.
Potentially more platform than smaller teams need: The product's wide channel, identity, analytics and support scope is best justified when teams can use several of those capabilities together.

Alternatives

Compare customer journey orchestration software if you want to review the category before narrowing your shortlist.

Iterable is another paid option across Android, iOS, web and API; its Custom enterprise plan also uses custom pricing and a demo-led buying process.
WebEngage is another paid option available on Android, iOS, web and API.
Airship Experimentation may suit teams prioritising self-service app and web experiences, no-code setup, native UI, automation and real-time orchestration.
CleverTap is worth considering if a published monthly entry point and 30-day trial matter: its Core plan costs 85.00 USD per month, billed monthly, with taxes applying and add-ons excluded; billing starts after the trial.
Cordial is another paid option with a custom enterprise plan and demo-led pricing.
MoEngage may fit teams seeking cross-channel marketing and analytics, with channels, segmentation, campaign management and Flows in its Growth plan; pricing is by contacting sales.
OpenText Core Journey is a paid API- and web-accessible alternative with demo-led pricing.
Actito is worth comparing if a published annual price and stated interaction allowances are important: its Premium plan costs 21000.00 EUR per year, billed annually, and includes 50 emails and 25 other channel interactions per profile per year, plus up to 15,000 push opt-ins and 1,000 SMS sends.

Verdict

Choose ZMP if your organization needs broad cross-channel orchestration tied to identity, analytics and data onboarding, and can make use of its developer and expert-support resources. Its main advantage is the ability to bring those capabilities into one marketing platform. Look elsewhere if transparent pricing, a public trial or a narrower self-service tool is more important than that breadth.
