Overview

The no-account start and watermark-free photo exports make it easy to try the photo workflow before committing. Video and GIF exports on the free plan carry watermarks, and free users may use outputs only for personal, non-commercial purposes. Paid subscribers can use outputs commercially.

The maker says uploaded images and generated outputs are automatically deleted within 24 hours, content is not shared with third parties or used to train AI models, and data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Those policies are useful considerations for teams assessing a media workflow, though they do not replace their own privacy review.

Key features

Photo, video and GIF swaps: AI face detection supports all three media types. The free allowance is five photo swaps, five head swaps, three video swaps and three GIF swaps per day. Video and GIF outputs include a watermark; photos do not.
Video inputs: The free video tool accepts clips up to one minute and 500 MB. It supports MP4, MOV, AVI, WebM, MKV and FLV, and lets users paste a YouTube URL as the source. The duration and upload cap make it a fit for short clips, not longer source material.
Multiple faces: The dashboard's Multi Face Swap maps multiple faces in one video, while the standard plan supports single-face swaps. Teams needing group-scene processing should distinguish those workflows before choosing a plan.
API and output: The maker offers a scalable API for high-volume use, and the stated maximum output resolution is 4K. Watermark-free export is supported, although free video and GIF outputs are watermarked.

Pricing

Free

The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free. It includes five photo swaps per day, five head swaps per day, three video swaps per day and three GIF swaps per day. Photos export without watermarks, but video and GIF outputs are watermarked. Free users are limited to personal, non-commercial use. This is a sensible way to try photos or make a few personal short-video swaps, but the quotas and watermark constrain regular publishing.

Treat paid access as custom pricing until you confirm its cost and allowances. The distinction between the standard single-face plan and the dashboard's Multi Face Swap also matters if a workflow depends on processing several faces in one video.

Platforms

AI Face Swap is offered on the web and through an API. The API is positioned for scalable, high-volume use; no particular integration or deployment details are stated.

Who it's for

Choose AI Face Swap for occasional photo swaps, short personal video clips, or a web-first workflow that benefits from trying the tool without an account. It is less suited to a free commercial workflow, frequent video production, or clips longer than one minute: commercial rights require a paid subscription, free video and GIF exports have watermarks, and free use is capped daily.

Pros and cons

Pro: Free photo swaps have no watermark, and the tool does not require an account to start, which lowers friction for trying the photo workflow.
Pro: YouTube URL input and support for six named video formats give users several ways to supply short video sources.
Pro: The API offers a route to high-volume use, while stated support for 4K output may suit workflows that need high-resolution exports.
Con: Free video and GIF outputs are watermarked, and free users cannot use outputs commercially.
Con: The free video limit of one minute and 500 MB, alongside three daily video swaps, rules out many sustained or longer-form workflows.

Alternatives

AI Face Swap Tools is the broader directory list for comparing face-swap options.

Remaker AI is a freemium alternative across Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, web and API; its listed credit packs are one-time purchases with credits that do not expire.
DeepFace is the better fit for teams seeking a free, self-hosted API or an MIT-licensed Python library rather than a web-first swapping tool.
SwapFace may suit buyers who prefer a one-time purchase: its Basic plan is 9.99 USD per once, with benefits valid for 30 days and video face swaps up to 60 seconds.
FaceFusion may suit teams seeking a self-hosted option across Linux, macOS and Windows, alongside web and API access.
Facing AI offers one-time credit packs, including a 19.90 USD per once Basic Pack with 1,000 credits (200 face swaps), HD output and no watermarks for 30 days.
FakeMe is a freemium alternative with a 3.99 USD per month subscription for no watermarks, no ads, priority queuing, increased resolution and extended video duration.
Face Swap Studio is a free alternative offered across API, self-hosted, web and Windows platforms.

Verdict

AI Face Swap is a good starting point for people who want no-signup photo swaps and occasional, short personal video work, with an API option for teams considering higher volume. The watermark-free free photo output is its clearest advantage. Look elsewhere if free commercial use, unwatermarked video, predictable paid pricing or longer free clips are essential.
