Overview

Gradient Works links account-fit decisions with territory design and ongoing account assignment. Market Map scores CRM accounts from 0–100 based on their similarity to closed-won customers and syncs those scores to Salesforce. That connection can help operations teams carry account priorities into coverage decisions rather than managing scoring and territory planning as separate processes.

Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Austin, Texas, Gradient Works targets B2B software companies with 200–2,500 employees and commercial sales teams. This is a platform for sales operations, not just territory visualization. Salesforce is required for the full platform; HubSpot and CSV support Account Research and Carve territory planning, so non-Salesforce teams should expect a narrower use case.

Key features

Account scoring and territory planning

Market Map scores accounts by resemblance to closed-won customers. Carve lets RevOps and Sales Strategy model territory scenarios using fit scores and push the selected design to Salesforce. Together, they connect territory choices to account fit, which is useful for teams that want planning and execution tied to the same CRM. Teams seeking only a mapping tool may not need that broader workflow.

Rep books and routing

Bookbuilder aims to keep each rep's book at roughly 100–150 accounts, automatically replacing worked accounts with higher-fit ones. That ongoing replenishment can reduce the gap between a territory plan and the accounts reps actually work, though teams that do not organize coverage around this book size may find the approach less suitable.

Routing automates lead-to-account matching and assignment inside Salesforce for inbound MQLs, handoffs, customer-success assignments and opportunity escalations. Routing rules, territory routing, round-robin assignment and lead qualification are supported. The scope is useful for teams managing several assignment paths, but the Salesforce dependency makes it a poor fit for organizations whose core CRM is elsewhere.

Research, analytics and integrations

AI Researcher lets RevOps create custom prompts to research accounts at scale and write qualitative answers back to Salesforce. The platform also includes pipeline analytics. Supported integrations include Salesforce, HubSpot, Slack, Salesloft, Outreach, Google Calendar, Office 365 and CSV import. Only one calendar integration and one sales-engagement integration may be active at a time, a meaningful constraint for teams that need to run multiple tools in either category concurrently.

Gradient Works says its SOC 2 Type 2 audit is complete and provides a process to request the report. Implementation typically takes 2–4 weeks and is led by its team, which means adoption involves a guided setup rather than a self-service rollout.

Pricing

The pricing model is freemium, with a free plan and paid plans billed annually. There is no free trial.

Plan	Price and terms	Includes	Best fit
Free	0.00 USD per free, billed forever	1,000 credits, 5 rep users, 1 Carve scenario, Market Map, basic Bookbuilder and analytics	Small teams evaluating account scoring and basic book management within the included user and scenario limits.
Growth	799.00 USD per month, billed paid annually	12,000 credits, 10,000 dynamic accounts, 10 rep users, 5 Carve projects, routing, AI Account Research, Lookalikes and integrations	Commercial teams that need routing and a larger operating footprint than the free plan provides.
Enterprise	Custom pricing, billed paid annually	Up to 2M credits, up to 1M dynamic accounts, up to 1,000 rep users, managed AI Researchers, custom workflow implementation and premium support	Large organizations that need higher limits, managed research or tailored workflow implementation.

The free plan includes core scoring and basic book features, but caps usage at 1,000 credits, five rep users and one Carve scenario; it does not include the Growth plan's listed routing and integration package. Growth raises those limits and adds routing and AI Account Research, at an annual billing commitment. Enterprise scales the quotas substantially and adds managed researchers, custom implementation and premium support, with custom pricing. No free trial is offered.

Platforms

Gradient Works supports web and API platforms. Its CRM connectors include Salesforce and HubSpot, but Salesforce is necessary for the full platform. HubSpot and CSV support Account Research and Carve territory planning rather than the complete set of workflows.

Who it's for

Gradient Works is best for upper mid-market B2B software companies with commercial sales teams using Salesforce, especially those that want account scoring, territory planning, replenished rep books and lead assignment connected. The stated target size is 200–2,500 employees. Teams centered on HubSpot can use Account Research and Carve territory planning, but should not expect the full Salesforce-dependent platform; teams needing multiple active calendar or sales-engagement integrations should also weigh the concurrency limits.

Pros and cons

Pro: Account scoring, territory scenario design and Salesforce sync connect planning decisions to CRM execution.
Pro: Bookbuilder automatically replaces worked accounts with higher-fit accounts, supporting ongoing rep coverage rather than a static book.
Pro: Routing covers inbound MQLs, handoffs, customer-success assignments and opportunity escalations within Salesforce.
Con: Salesforce is required for the full platform, limiting its fit for teams standardized on another CRM.
Con: Only one calendar and one sales-engagement integration can be active at once, which may constrain stacks using multiple tools in either category.
Con: The free tier is capped at five rep users, 1,000 credits and one Carve scenario, while Growth is billed annually.

Verdict

Choose Gradient Works if your upper mid-market B2B sales team runs on Salesforce and wants account fit, territory planning, dynamic books and routing connected in one operations platform. Its strongest case is the link between account scoring and execution; look elsewhere if Salesforce is not your CRM foundation or your integration stack needs multiple active calendar or sales-engagement connections.
